Should i send my Week 38 iPod Touch back 5 Months old having loads errors?

I placed an order for a 16GB iPod touch back in October 2007 all was fine but ive been having loads of problems some movies go all blurry and like crazy all is fine when i restart it, also freezes a lot and times out in itunes should i ask for a replacement ?
An apple store would need you to go to the genius bar so they can try to troubleshoot it first. You'd need an appointment so you don't waste your time for them to send you home. To make an appointment go to www.apple.com/retail then find your store and click reserve under the genius bar section. Past that you could also phone 1 800 APL CARE and have them troubleshoot it for you as well, they can also repair/replace it for you if it needs. Still you haven't said what problems it's having. Have you restored and setup as a new ipod or have you gone to the backup each time? Is it a problem with certain content like videos or music, if so is it the same file each time? What's going on?

Plus, I just updated to 8.02 and nothing helped I think.Hey Yari5393, Apple does not fix, you will most likely get a refurbished iPod, (the same model and size you sent in) and it most likely will have the same issues, slow operation, spotty Wi-Fi, etc. Seems to be an issue with iOS 8, at least if you read this and other posts. As for the A5 chip set, (the one used in iPod 5's), iOS 8 is pushing the iPod 5 about as far as it can go. Do you have other issues? I'm thinking Apple will just tell you there is nothing wrong and send your iPod back. Hope this helps, Cheers.

You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!

I just got my ipod Touch back for Apple, because I couldn't get it to restored, I had to send it in. They even updated it for me with newest software etc. Now, any advice before I sync it up to my computer to put music etc back on it. I removed some movies and music from my library so it would take as long to sync up, and plan to add stuff back slowly and I can't wait to add some new apps.

Is there any way to get my photos FROM my iPod Touch back onto a new hard drive?
My Mac crashed last Friday. First timeIs there any way to get my photos FROM my iPod Touch back into my new hard drive. The iTunes sync only goes one way from the computer to the iPod.
It syncs the photos taken with the iPod (really an old iPhone 3G without phone service) but not the folders which I synced from the old hard drive to the iPod over the past year.thank you for the tip.
Yes, my computer was backed up. for reasons way too complicated to go into here, these particular folders were not part of the backup.

The iPhone is not user servicable. You can get an out of warranty replacement from Apple for $149. If you open the phone yourself, you forfeit the ability to do this.

I have purchased apps for my ipod touch and they are not loading properly. They appear on the screen, but when you touch them, they do not open and bounce back to the main screen. Any ideas on how to fix?

If the problem persits after restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod then you likely have a hardware problem. In that case an appointment at the Genius Bar of an apple store or returing it to Apple is in order.
