You might find that it has nothing to do with your iPhone though -- the speakerphone is notoriously problematic on all of the iPhones -- I never use mine.

  • Should i take tv back??

My wife and i recently were in the market for a new tv. We went in to BB with the intent of getting a 47 in tv. My wife saw that the Dynex 55" was on sale for $599, so we bought that instead of the 47 inch toshiba that we were going to buy.  Now that i have the 55 hooked up, i have been noticing a lot of motion blur and choppiness.  Should i take it back and get the 47 inch instead.  Will it make a difference?
    Thanks

Thanks for everyones advice.  I tried to live with it but it just bugged me to much.  I took it back this past saturday and got a full refund.  I am thinking of getting a slightly smaller 51in 1080P Plasma.  Funny story, I walked in to the best buy before returning it, to speak with a representative.  I picked out a 51" Samsung 1080p plasma to get instead.  The last unit was the floor model so i rushed home to take the tv off the wall and get it boxed up.   I gave the rep my number and told her to call me if the unit sold before i returned.  When i walked back in, i returned the Dynex, then walked over to the samsung only to see that it was sold.  No call.  The rep said the GM was aware of the situation and offered me $30 off anoither tv..$30, are you serious?? Usually they will take 10% off no questions asked.  I ended up just gettin a complete refund on tv and warranty. now i have a huge empty spot in my living room,
Don't worry, they have good sales on every week. Don't be afraid to take an open box as those can be very deals. I've done it a time or two and worked out great! You get the same waranty anyways.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
The first back up to iCloud may take some considerable time. Just how long isn't really possible to say without knowing how much is in your back up and your connection speed.
What many people don't realise is that upload speeds are often significantly less than download speeds, so for example a user may have a download speed of 40 Mbps, but only 1 Mbps for uploading. As a rough guide it will take around 2 ¼ hours to upload 1 GB of data at 1 Mbps.

  • While using Skype on my mac pro the screen freezes and splits in two and the left hand side shifts to the right and the right shifts to the left with a large black block down the centre, should I take it back to store as it is only a month old??

I have only had my mac one month and it seems while I use Skype the screen freezes and I cant click on anything and everything on the right hand side of the screen shifts to the left and the left to the right with a back block down the centre and sometimes lines running down the screen over all. As it is almost brand new should I be going back to store to get this problem fixed??

Yes.  You are still under warranty.  Why waste it?

  • My new iPhone 4s keeps overheating. I mean it gets really Hot!  Should I take it back?

My iPhone 4s keeps overheating, gets really hot! Should I return it?

My belief is that this is a flaw in the 4S. I've had two--same exact problem on both. I've been chasing this problem for six days. I've restored, restored without using a backup, removed email accounts, etc. I downloaded a couple of applications that show processor utilization. Consistently, the phone is around 72% of processor utilization.
Going back to my 4, I do not have these issues at all. Same EXACT configuration. (Software, carrier, etc.) I'm surprised more people aren't raising this as an issue. It also shows significantly reduced battery life. When my processor is pegged (as noted above, that is often) it loses about 5% every 1/2 hour.

  • How long should it take to back up on itunes?

    hello?

It depends on how much you have to backup. The first back up can take an hour or more. Subsequent backus are usually shorter since it does incremental backups.

  • HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE TO BACK UP

have my iphone trying to back up after i purchased additonal space and the phone indicates five hours left to back up??? why would it take so long and ho can i manage the space better.

How long it takes depends entirely on how much data it is backing up and how fast (or slow) or upstream internet connection is.
If you've got many gigabytes to backup on a slow connection, it could take days.

  • My new MacBookPro makes a low grinding noise when starting from shutdown. It interferes with the normal startup music. Is this normal or should I take it back to the store, please? Thank you. Colin.

My MacBookPro makes a low grinding sound when it starts up from shutdown. Is this normal or should I return it to the store. The sound is not unlike the CD drive starting in my old computer. It kind of creeks. Thank you. Colin.

If it is a brief sound, perhaps a half second in duration, it may very well be the OS checking the internal optical drive.  That is part of the OS startup process which is normal.  Start your MBP and put your ear next to the optical drive and see if this is the case.

  • Gap between screen and bezel should i take it back to apple?

Theres a noticable between the screen and the metal bezel, its currently working fine but i dont want the screen to die or the inside to collect up dust over the years. I only recently purchased the red nano and want this to last for a long while. Is it worth it to bring back to the apple store to get this replaced or are all nanos like this with a gap between the screen and bezel (just towards the bottom of the screen only) thank

You are very welcome, and good luck getting this resolved.  Things like damage and scratches have been brought up on here by users in the past with devices and Apple has been pretty good about dealing with the issues.

  • I just bought my IPAD 3 will not activate says activation server cannot be reach. How to fix this and should I take it back and get a different one.

I have never had anything apple before and I just bought this IPAD 3rd gen. I begin doing the process of starting it up. I get to activation and it wont go any further. I have tried numerous times. Says "Your IPad cannot be activated because the activation server cannot be reachrf. Try connecting you iPad to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes." I am lost. Not a tech guru... Any help is wonderful. And is this a good model?
    Thanks. Crystal

Nevermind. All i had to do was close out of itunes and reopen it and then it activated it. If anyone else is having this problem, try that trick and i hope it helps

  • I've upgraded my MacPro but not enough space to do so on my 5s and iPad.  Should  I take both back to original settings and allow the update?

Not a techie here...please advise on best method to update 5s and iPad Air.

To clarify:  I have a 16g iPhone 5s and an iPad 32g and both are due for current Yosemite updates.  I successfully completed Yosemite update for MacPro.  I attempted to delete photos and music from both of the former in order to allow the download, however, still not enough space.  Also removed some apps that weren't being used.  Still not enough space.  So I thought perhaps taking both devices to original straight-from-the-box state might allow for easiest updates to download.

  • The back of my iphone gets really warm on the left hand side where the sim car is,is this a problem? and should i take it back to apple?

as above really, getting concerned it will slow the phone down or do some damage, cheers

There are two iPhone 4 models:
the GSM iPhone 4 uses a sim card for accessing the cellular network and is provided by the carrier,
the CDMA iPnoe 4 does not have a removable sim card and cannot be unlocked for use on anyother network than the one it comes locked to.
If you have an iPhone 4 that does not have a removable sim card, then it is locked to a CDMA cellular network and cannot be used with another carrier.
