Should I upgrade PSU for this board?

I'm Currently running this board off the stock psu that came with my "value" case. My specs are detailed in signature(very bottom)... I'm not having problems..but just wonderd if I could be killing something slowly? voltages read as follows(CoreCenter):
Vcore:1.51-1.53
3.3v: 3.28-3.30
5V: 4.97-5.00
12V: 12.20-12.26
Danger? Thanks for your opinions...

I'd be very careful where the power supply is concerned.
When I first built my machine I had an Allied 420 in it, but the 12v rail was weak. Never had a problem, but I upgraded my case with a large number of fans, lots of drives, and many little toys. At that point I figured it would be best to go with a monster PSU.
Funny thing about the PSU, it can work fine with an overload for a long time, and then suddenly smoke for no apparent reason. Just based on that experience I'd look for a better PSU.
You might be fine, you might not be... why take the chance?

    I have a 2011 MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6.8. and I'm unsure about upgrading, but feel the need to. What should I upgrade to, for now? THANK YOU!

    Keep your Snow Leopard installation and test Mavericks on a separate partition or external drive. You will probably want to have both options. Mavericks and anything else after Snow Leopard has changes to the user interface that many of us find pointless and irritating. And you won't be able to use any software that runs via Rosetta in Snow Leopard. You will have to upgrade software that needs Rosetta to a later version, or get something else entirely.

    The shrink clause lets you manually shrink space in a table, index-organized table or its overflow segment, index, partition, subpartition, LOB segment, materialized view, or materialized view log. This clause is valid only for segments in tablespaces with automatic segment management. By default, Oracle Database compacts the segment, adjusts the high water mark, and releases the recuperated space immediately.
    Compacting the segment requires row movement. Therefore, you must enable row movement for the object you want to shrink before specifying this clause. Further, if your application has any rowid-based triggers, you should disable them before issuing this clause.

  • This did not help me at all. I wanted to delete my purchased list. Delete. It is taking up to much of my space. It should be up to each person if they want to delete this off their ipad. Why should everyone be punished for this.

    I want to delete my purchase list and apple is saying you can't. Why? It should be up to each person, if they want to put something back on there they will have to repay. Why do we all have to be punished for this. I am not the only one that would like to have this deleted. It is taking up to much space on my I pad. I am not happy at all about this.

    What did not help you?
    You cannot delete apps from the purchase list nor can you delete the purchased list. That list is NOT taking up space on your iPad. It is just a list of the apps that you have purchased over time.
    If you want to HIDE the purchases so that you do not have to see them, you can do that in iTunes on your computer. You can read about it here.

  • Should I USe ColdFusion For This?

    I need to build a simple web form for data entry into a
    database table. The form is to be located on my company website. It
    doesn't have to be fancy at all, just functional. What I'm
    wondering is- is ColdFusion the best tool for this job? Should I be
    using DreamWeaver? And also- if I use either of these technologies
    to build this form, will it only work on a server that has these
    technologies installed?

    From the New Atlanta website:
    BlueDragon Server is free for non-commercial deployment.
    ie: not
    just testing & development.
    Although since this user is doing this for their company
    website, it probably doesn't fit into non-commercial use.
    However, there is another CFML server option, free for
    development and community (non-commercial) use, and is
    much cheaper than CFMX and BlueDragon, at only €200
    for the professional version. (that's under 1/3rd the price of BD,
    and under 1/5th the price of CFMX7)
    It aims for CFMX6 compatibility, and achieves it well enough
    - I've only found one MX7 function I've needed so far, and I was
    able to fix that with a custom function easily enough. And it also
    has several sensible enhancements to CFML.
    I am of course referring to
    Railo
    Even if you don't need a low-cost CFML server, I'd recommend
    giving it a try - it has a
    Live version
    so you don't need to install it - just download, extract the zip,
    run a batch file and you have an instant CFML server.

  • HT3986 can I use the windows 7 UPGRADE version for this?

    I'm thinking about installing Windows 7 to use with Boot Camp .... can I use an Upgrade version of Windows?

    As the hatter said, you CAN use the Upgrade version of Windows 7. Here's more details:
    Install Windows 7 normally, using Boot Camp and your Win 7 Upgrade disk. Use the "Custom (Advanced)" option.
    When it asks you to enter your product key / license, don't enter anything -- just hit Next. This will allow you to continue installing Windows with a 30-day trial.
    After you've installed Windows 7, stay in Windows (don't boot to OSX) and put your Win 7 Upgrade disk back in the drive, and run the Setup file that's on the disk.
    This will guide you through the upgrade process. This time, instead of Custom, use the "Upgrade" option.
    When it asks you, go ahead and type in your product key, and choose to Activate.
    However, please note that if you do this, and you DON'T already own a previous version of Windows (and stop using that previous version immediately), you'll be violating the software license agreement. These are the requirements to use the Upgrade version. If you don't meet these requirements, I strongly recommend you install with a full version of Windows 7.

  • Upgraded PSU for Optiplex 9020

    Hello,
    I just received my Optiplex 9020 MT and was hugely disappointed to find out that I can't upgrade the PSU. The motherboard lacks the 20/24pin connector. It has a custom 8pin connector (I don't believe its the EPS12V connector). I managed to find a PSU that fits the chasis (Corsair cx600) but now I can't power it on with the new PSU. I require the new PSU to power my GTX760 card.
    Is there any 500W PSU out there I can swap it to? If not, I will be forced to return this PC back.

  • Should I use RMI for this??

    Hi:
    I am a complete newbie on RMI, I want to know whether the following task should be achieved by using RMI. Basically, I have a java application sitting on a server machine (unix machine), and I want to be able to call that application from another client machine using the command line prompt (client machine is WIN2000). I was told to open a TCP port to do this. Umm, basically, does this task involve RMI at all?
    Please give me some general direction on this problem, thanx a lot.

    You could perform the communication as mentioned, having a process open a server socket on the server machine and wait for information to be sent from a client. You will end up defining the format and protocols used in the communications over the socket, but if sufficiently simple, this approach would work fine.
    If you want to send more complex data or commands, or invoke methods on the server from the client, RMI is a good avenue to explore. It requires some infrastructure, however: you must be running an RMIRegistry process on the server, you must properly put your stubs and interfaces somewhere they can be dynamically downloaded (or packaged up with the client), and you must work through various RMI Security issues.
    These things are not hard to pick up, however, and the RMI path in the Java Tutorial is a good place to start learning about such things.

  • Should I use ResourceBundle for this?

    I have an app that displays some static data (Earthquakes in California from 1970 to 1980). Right now this data in the form of an ASCII CSV file is read in using a hard coded location /javaprojects/EQ/data/CA.1970-1980.txt.
    I am wondering if Resource bundle is a better way to do this. Any suggestions? I am assuming that the app and the data will eventually be put in a jar for distribution, in which case should I do something different?
    Thanks

    ResourceBundles are used to handle localization issues which isn't what you described.
    You asked for any suggestions so here's one. Since the data is never going to change you could consider creating a class to access its contents and put the data right in the code. Something like this:
    public class EarthquakeData {
      static List data = new ArrayList();
      double mag;
      Date when;
      String where;
      public EarthquakeData(double mag, Date when, String where) {
        this.mag = mag;
        // and so on
      public double getMagnitude() {
        return mag;
    // then load the data right into the program statically:
      static {
        data.add(new EarthquakeData(4.5, new Date("June 2 1977"), "Los Angeles");
    }This example uses a List. You might want an array or Map or whatever.

  • Testpoint 6052E synch; can I do this via a DLL for this board?

    I am new to NI boards. I have to use Testpoint for a workstation.
    I have to sync up the output of the card to the input channel.
    I have a PCI 6052E board and an SBC terminal block. In this box
    I have Two OUTPUT channels and one channel coming back in.
    I've been told that using Testpoint alone does not do the trick.
    Can I use a dll file to send the right set of instructions? I found this on the web:
    Can I synchronize a one-channel analog input data acquisition with
    a one-channel analog output waveform generation on my PCI-MIO E Series
    board?
    Yes. One way to accomplish this is to use the waveform generation timing
    pulses to control the analog input data acquisition. To do this, follow
    steps 1 through 4 below, in addition to the usual steps for data
    acquisition
    and waveform generation configuration.
    1. Enable the PFI5 line for output, as follows:
    * If you are using NI-DAQ, call Select_Signal(deviceNumber,
    ND_PFI_5, ND_OUT_UPDATE, ND_HIGH_TO_LOW).
    * If you are using LabVIEW, invoke Route Signal VI with signal
    name set to PFI5 and signal source set to AO Update.
    2. Set up data acquisition timing so that the timing signal for A/D
    conversion comes from PFI5, as follows:
    * If you are using NI-DAQ, call Select_Signal(deviceNumber,
    ND_IN_CONVERT, ND_PFI_5, ND_HIGH_TO_LOW).
    * If you are using LabVIEW, invoke AI Clock Config VI with
    clock source code set to PFI pin, high to low, and clock
    source string set to 5.
    3. Initiate analog input data acquisition, which will start only when
    the analog output waveform generation starts.
    4. Initiate analog output waveform generation.

    I used the nidaq32.dll and made the calls as listed on my first email.
    These worked fine. I reviewed my synchroniztion (looping out==>input via a
    coax cable). But we noticed that there is a one to 2 sample jitter.
    Is there something I can do to prvent this?
    Below is my Testpoint Code:
    Action list for Pushbutton object "Pushbutton1":
    1) Clear graph Graph1
    2) Calculate Math3
    3) Draw graph Graph2 with Math3
    4) Calculate Length with Outx=Math3
    5) Linear series Loop1 from 1 to 50, step by 1
    6) Set Display1 to Loop1
    7) Call SyncBoard with 0,"ND_PFI_5","ND_OUT_UPDATE","ND_HIGH_TO_LOW"
    8) Call SyncBoard with 0,"ND_IN_CONVERT","ND_PFI_5","ND_HIGH_TO_LOW"
    9) Start A/D A/D1 #samples=Length, rate=10000 Hz, channel(s)=0, event after "all"
    sample(s)
    10) Start D/A D/A1 rate=10000 Hz, channel(s)=0, values=Math3, mode="once"
    11) Delay Time1 for 0.2 seconds
    12) Stop D/A D/A1
    13) Stop A/D A/D1
    14) Draw graph Graph1 with A/D1
