it wont go off the apple logo, putting it in recovery and DFU mode dosent change a thing, how can i fix it?
See if you missed anything here
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I cant restore iphone so i can use as an ipod touch. Itunes sees device, but I cant restore. DFU mode fails as well. It acts like it's restoring but after verification, i still am back at square one.
When restoreing There is an n/a after capacity and serial number etc. After restore it restarts and recognizes device bu has iphone in large print in the window wher Capacity and serial number were. Any help would be appreciated.

My ipad has the connect to itunes logo on it. When i do connect it will not restore. I have tried everything on the apple website what should I do?
Have you tried forcibly turning it off and then placing it into recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Any errors when restoring ? http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694 -
I have a 3gs, and I haven't updated it for a long time because I always have issues when I do. I tried to update the ios today, and it decided to update it to 6.1.3 instead of 7, I didn't think there would be a problem, so I clicked ok. When I came to check on my phone, itunes said there was an error with the update, and my phone was in recovery mode (plug-in sign on the screen). I looked up multiple things to try, I tried putting it in DFU mode, still itunes doesn't see it. The computer also doesn't list it under devices, however when it is plugged in the Apple Mobile Support USB Driver shows up in device manager. I have tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling, still nothing. I just want to know if there is anything else I can try. Thanks.
No, it is my phone that I've had since 2009. I just hate updating it because every time I do something goes wrong. So I put it off as long as possible. I am getting a new iphone, but I read that to have your backup transfer to the new phone, it must be a backup from the current ios.

You may need to try this More than Once...
Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work. -

ITunes 10.2.2.12 will not detect my iPhone 3GS in Recovery or DFU mode
It started a couple weeks ago when I tried to upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.3.1 when it would get stuck in the preparing iPhone for upgrade. My computer sees the phone because I can see it connected via USB. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and family per Apple's instructions under Troubleshooting iPhone. If I connect the USB to a Virtual Machine under VMWare Workstation 7 it works no problem and this is how I updated to 4.3.1 and again to 4.3.2. Now it's annoying and I want to try and resolve it.
iPhone 3GS
ASUS G73JW
Win 7 Pro x64
iTunes 10.2.2.12I'm really at a loss here. Just had to update to 4.3.3 using a virtual machine. I've uninstalled everything apple, rebooted, ran ccleaner, rebooted, ran ccleaner again, rebooted, installed latest itunes x64, rebooted, tried to update and got error 1602 again. Windows sees the iphone in restore mode, tinyumbrella sees the iphone in restore mode and will exit restore mode for me. I also updated to the latest version of vmware workstation 7. I would really like to avoid formatting and reinstlling win 7.

It's in recovery mode. There is nothing left on the phone. You have no choice but to restore it. Have you not been backing it up on a regular basis?

Iphone 5 restore problems phone seems to be frozen with connect to itunes logo.
my iphone 5 is stuck with the connect to itunes logo and even when plugged in to laptop stll the same nothing seems to work. any ideas on how to fix this.
See this
If you can't update or restore your iOS device -
HT201412 it shows itunes logo and usb cable with arrow after that it switch off itself
iPAD shows itunes logo and usb cable with arrow after that it switch off itself
If the Restore doesn't work, force your iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
My iPhone 4S is frozen. I had it plugged into my PC all night trying to update to the new iOS 7. This morning my iPhone was frozen with a connection cord and above it an arrow pointing to the iTunes logo.
Your device is in recovery mode. You have to restore your device. See this support document. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
