Should the install files for firefox come from a website called saimei.acc.umu.se?

When I went to install Firefox I was asked to download the file from a website named saimei.acc.umu.se==is this a good site to download your Firefox from--seems like it should be from Mozilla?

I am not certain, and someone may give a better answer but:
It appears it could be an official mirror run from Sweden: '' Umeå University (se)'' although I did not find the exact link in the official listing http://www.mozilla.org/community/mirrors.html
If in doubt block that site, and try again, see if whatever you get next time is on the above list.

  • Where can I find the Install File for Acrobat Standard 9?

I am trying to reinstall Acrobat Standard 9, but can't locate the Install File for Standard, only for Pro.  Can anyone tell me where the file for Standard is kept?

As far as I know the older versions of Acrobat Standard are (still) not available... I've seen discussions where that's debated but I have yet to see anyone report  finding the file.

  • The adobe flash player shows in the plugins manager that it is installed but when i look in the program files for firefox ther is no adobe flash files

even tho the flash player says its installed it still wont work i have tried uninstalling the programs and removing all registry values for them (not all at once) i have tried every troubleshooting tip for both programs to resolve this issue
the flash player works fine on other browsers but not firefox

    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_plugins#Identifying_installed_plugins
You can see the installed plugins on the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/About%3Aplugins about:plugins] page.<br />
If you set the pref plugin.expose_full_path to true on the about:config page then you see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page.<br />
It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.<br />
    <br />
You can open about:plugins and about:config via the location bar, like you open a website (about: is a special protocol to access some build-in pages).<br />
If you get a warning when opening the about:config page then you can confirm that you want to continue.
You can also try to delete the file pluginreg.dat and let Firefox rebuild a new version.<br />

  • Cannot Download the install files for Premiere

I am trying to reinstall Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 because I had to reset my entire operating system due to problems I have been having with Premiere (which I will be shortly following up with in my other post), but now the download manager is not letting me fully download any of the 'z' files...
It seems to work alright, but then out of nowhere, the download stops at 99%. I checked the details of it, and it is currently running at a speed of 0.0 bytes/sec; showing 2 connections, and the status still says Downloading.
This has happened for both Adobe Premiere Pro and the Content Installer. I've had to reinstall this program several times, but this is the first I have seen of this issue... This is my 3rd or 4th attempting, thinking originally that this was just a glitch and that it wouldnt happen twice.
Any idea what can be causing this? As soon as I can install these, I will be able to download a link that Harm was nice enough to provide and then I can follow up with my other post.
    Thanks!
    -Rick

Ok, I fixed that issue I just mentioned by pausing the download and then resuming it. It still seems weird though.
When launching the .exe file, I receive this error:
"A Problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privilges on the destination folder."
Then I receive this error When extracting the 'z' file:
"Can not extract files from archive. Archive file is corrupt or incomplete."
Any clue on this one? Thanks!

  • Where can I find the RTF file for xmlsamples on Oracle official website?

    The xmlsamples' link is:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/xml-publisher/xmlpsamples.html
The report that I'm working on is almost the same as the "Invoices" sample from the link above, but I don't know how to make my own report like that. I wonder if there would be a RTF file for this sample.
    Anyone knows about this?

  • Where can I locate the install files for Acrobat X

I had exactly the same problem, and thought installing Acrobat XI Pro in trial would help.
First icon links became corrupt, then files would only open on right-click.
Searching for answers to icon links, etc. and many attempts failed to fix, so I uninstalled XI and X, with the idea I would reinstall, since the CS6 control panels do not offer a "repair" function, only uninstall.
Now, Application Manager lists only Acrobat XI Pro trial as an option - but nothing for the program I actually purchased.

Apparently, the failure could be due to the fact I'm using a WiFi connection, (not allowed for some reason, but all I have on this machine) ...or it could be that I'm in Patagonia and it doesn't like my IP address.
Yours seemed like a great suggestion though!  I really thought it would fix me up.

    Hi Karl,
If your workstation is on the same Active Directory domain as your SharePoint farm, you can also access SharePoint remotely via PowerShell remoting. You need to enable PowerShell remoting on your SharePoint servers and connect to them using PowerShell. Think
of this as SSH and running an interactive console remotely.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff700227.aspx
Once you're in the PowerShell remoting session, you can load the SharePoint PowerShell modules as was suggested earlier.

  • How do I save an install file for Photoshop CS6

I need to get an install file for Photoshop CS6 (not CR) that I can use on a Windows PC that, due to security reasons, does
not have access to the internet.  In the past I have been able to save the install file for Photoshop and/or Lightroom on my internet connected PC and then move it to the the target PC on a thumb drive or CD.  But now with the CC and the new "Adobe Installer" I can't seem to see how to capture the install file.
Please let me know how to do this.

  • Install file for 4.7 or similar

Apple doesn't supply the Windows version of iTunes 4.7 and that was the last working version on my computer at school. v5 uninstalled 4.7 (obviously) and then something stopped the install. Seems to be a network problem in my school district. I have spent many hours online and with my IT guy who loves iTunes but he could not solve the install problem as hard as he tried using all the tricks he knew. I've gone without iTunes for a year now and WMP is a pain in the butt! Same problem with v6. Does any one have the install file for 4.7 windows? I'm assuming it will install.

After installing the latest of iTunes the original files for almost 300 songs cannot be found for syncing to my iPod. The files are songs that were bought from iTunes, and copied into iTunes from CDs.

Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.
