In EBS it will be under JRE_TOP/lib ... but there is no need for it there as we sadly do not provide out of the box integration ...yet!
In standalone, its under the WEB-INF directory under J2EE_HOME/applications/xmlpserver/xmlpserver

If you can find an iPhone running iOS5 and those are the specs for iOS5, there is no reason it should not work.
If you want a more current version of iOS or a more current device, a Windows computer is always an option at significantly less cost.
Granted, there is no requirement to have a computer to use an iPhone.

Trouble making the iPod classic manual/user guide open in PDF..

I'm just trying to learn the basics--like how to stop the iPod from running an audiobook until I tell it to; how to make it stop; etc. But when I click on 'User Guide' or 'Manual', the page goes black and Preview, which usually shows my PDF's, doesn't open with the manual.
Anybody know why?

Thanks, planb. It took me a bit to translate 'right click' since I'm on a MacBook Pro, but I discovered I need to press the 'Option' key when I click the link to the User Guide/Manual. It does then download, enabling me to open it on Preview and save it.

To enable or disable the VLAN Change Audit Filter option:
Step 1: Select Resource Manager Essentials > Admin > Change Audit > Config Change Filter
The Config Change Filter dialog box appears.
Step 2: Check or uncheck the Enable VLAN Change Audit Filter option.
•Check Enable VLAN Change Audit Filter, if you do not want the change audit record to be created for devices that have a VLAN configuration.
•Uncheck Enable VLAN Change Audit Filter, if you want the change audit record to be created for devices that have VLAN configuration. By default, this option is unchecked.
Step 3: Click either Apply to apply the option or click Cancel to discard the changes.
I'll like to know if there not a mistake with STEP 2.

but you are right, - it is not easy to understand (if it is at all.. :-) )
put the word "exclude" between "Audit" and "Filter" and read it like this:

Xdodelivery.cfg file in 12.0.6

DB:10.2.0.4.0
Oracle Apps: 12.0.6
OS:AIX 5.3 L 64 bits
We are on 12.0.6 and there is no "resource" directory under $XDO_TOP location where xdodelivery.cfg file could be created.
As per the note 804283.1:
The configuration file $XDO_TOP/resource/xdodelivery.cfg is detailed in the Oracle XML Publisher
Administration and Developer's Guide and Oracle® XML Publisher User’s Guide in the section 'Configuration File Support' :
Does the note above means we need to create a separate "resource" folder under $XDO_TOP and then create the xdodelivery.cfg file or where is the location of xdodelivery.cfg file in 12.0.6.
Could anyone please share experience on the above issue for resolution.

Download the fee iBooks app from the app store if you don't already have it. Then download the .pdf here: iPad User Guide (For iOS 5.1 Software). Next, import it to your iTunes library (iTunes>File>Add to Library). Then sync it to your iPad by selecting it on the Books tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing your iPad. It will availble in iBooks in the PDFs section (tap Collections on the top left, then tap PDF's).

Unable to use the xdodelivery.cfg file values

I am working on 11.5.10 Apps application.
I have a requierment to delivery the generated report to an FTP.
I have the FTP credentails which I dont want to hard code in Bursting control file. I went through few links and found about xdodelivery.cfg file.
And please find my Datatemplate file , Bursting file and xdodelivery.cfg file as shown below ...
The problem I am facing is , the program completes successfully but the file will not moved to ftp.
Please guide me how can I access the value of the User Name and password in the Bursting control file.
Please let me know where I am missing the actual working part.

Found an alternate for this.
Used UDT tables to Store the Server name , user name and credentials and remote directory.
Fetched the values from the data template query and used them in the tags(element ). These tag values are used in bursting control file.
Finally I was able to FTP the file to Remote directory.

while configuring Business Packager for Projects 50.3 fo, we made few changes in R/3 side as per the documentation. after that we are getting following error in portal
"This method should not be called anymore. The client was already released into the pool or the pool entry was deleted"
all the chages were reverted in R/3 system still we are getting the same error.
Can any one help on this issue....

I do understand that you want to have something like
killTheTreadIDontCareAboutConcequences-method, but
it's better to let all your methods that you want to
be able to terminate take a timeout argument, and deal
with the termination in the method. (Close the
sockets/streams etc that you are blocking on).
/KajThe point is, it is not always possible to make those blocking methods stop, via some magic "timeout" thingamabob. The bottom line is still that the blocking methods were written incorrectly to begin with (to possibly block indefinitely), so one cannot come up with an across-the-board solution, other than getting the root cause fixed in the first place. However, one is not always in control of fixing the root cause.

I'm trying to configure the Email Document Delivery for Separate Remittance Advice in R12 but have been unsuccessful so far. I filled the xdodelivery.cfg file with the relevant information and placed it under $XDO_TOP/resource directory and set up the profile option IBY_XDO_DELIVERY_CFG_FILE to point to this directory. I'm getting the below error message in the log file of the standard program "Send Separate Remittance Advices"

You'll have some reassurance in at least that I had the same problem with a R12 upgrade with Separate Remittance Advice. Unfortunately, I was not able to remain on the client site long enough to solve this, although I do have the following to offer, even if its not a solution:
1) The xdodelivery.cfg file for one of our clients where this does work is as follows:

I have created xdodelivery.cfg file in $XDO_TOP/resource directory.
1. What is host name? like my apps server host name or email server host name?
2. What is server name again? (isn't it same as host name? which server?)
3. what is IEX: SMTP Host profile option? (is it same as host name in .cfg)
Are all these values same or each has different meaning?

3. Additionally, go to application developer application -> messages query up IBY_FD_SRA_EMAIL_FROM change the email from to your desired text

Probably the best thing to do is go to your boss/team lead/project manager/client contact and ask them what documentation they want you to produce and what should go in it. No-one here can guess at that.
