Shouldnt apple support site be responsive?

Maybe im missing something but i find it odd that the apple support site, of all the sites in the world, is not responsive.
As in: doesnt resize to fit my iphone screen.
Anyone else find this odd, frustrating, counterintuitive?

I did try using the search function but it was kind of fiddly on the iPhone.
So I learnt from this that this is a peer to peer forum. That's great, but surely acceptable to ask my peers if they know anything about this. Maybe have a heart2heart about it.
It's just odd that the company that pioneered web on devices has forums (peer2peer or help and support) that don't immediately rearrange themselves into neat iphone size.
It's also odd that with Mac stuff in general being the absolute pinnacle of usability it's not more obvious that this is a peer2peer forum. I normally end up here when I do a web search to troubleshoot a problem so just always assumed it was overseen by some Apple reps.
Further searches on a big screen have shown me that other people have contacted Apple but we'll never know anything anyway until it happens as they don't respond to feedback.
So i guess I'll continue to be confused by this and let out a little screech of joy when one day it fits on my device screen.

    Strangely enough even though I had gotten the " Install failed....Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer....The install could not copy the necessary support files"  I had left it on the screen and left the room for awhile. I walked back into my computer room a few minutes ago and the window on the screen stated that the SL OS 10.6.4 had successfully installed. I am now very carefully checking things out to make sure the fonts are where they should be. With the exception of some updating it appears all may be well.
    PS. Below is a note I was writing to Kurt (also assisting me) to try and detail what had happened. Added it in case it could be of any value to you

    Thank you for response. following is series of events to my best recollection.
    I would typically not have been this stupid/ignorant but was doing this in a hurry with someone asking me questions...wasn't paying attn. to what I was doing
    • downloaded new fonts
    • opened downloaded fonts, clicked font icons to open and install them.
    • typed "fonts" in spotlight (with the intention of moving new fonts into font folder)The Spotlight results window revealed 5 or 6 font folders. I ignorantly started to try a clean up by installing all fonts into a single folder (not thinking about system fonts)
    Sometimes when you are moving a folder the window you moved it from will jump around..well this occurred and I mistakenly released the folder on the desk top. This caused a copy to be made. After some investigation I realized it was a copy of the required system fonts that were still located in the original "spotlight results" window.
    • I attempted to delete the copy..when I did an administrator password box appeared I entered the password and the result was both system font folders were deleted (the original & the desk top copy I erroneously made)
    • Now windows open but are blank with sometimes faded mini sized icons. If I click one of the mini icons i get a new blank window. I am unable to give any instruction, have total blank menus, dialog boxes, etc.

    Without know exactly what you did or what happened:
    Disabled
    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
    iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
    If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    To restore from backup see:
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes       
    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
    You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:                         
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store        
    If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

    If MacKeeper corrupted the Recovery partition then even I underestimated its potential for damage. Garbage "cleaning" apps will cause misery but I have not found that the Recovery partition to have been affected by using MacKeeper or anything like it. I doubt that it did so, but I have learned not to underestimate the potential for such things to result in system corruption.
    Before concluding your Mac has a hardware failure, try booting OS X Internet Recovery by holding command option r on startup (three fingers). That will force your iMac to bypass the Recovery partition altogether, and convey the ability to create a new one.
    An Internet connection will be required (wired or wireless).
    At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red. If Disk Utility reports "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK" in green then you can be reasonably (though not completely) assured your hard disk is in good working order.
    Assuming the HD remains usable you can then use Disk Utility to erase it. Reinstall OS X, restore your essential software and other files, and don't reinstall the junk.

    If you know the thread or community that is sending you the emails you can go directly to those and skip the rest of this however if you don't remember or are still getting email after going to the community read on.
    Stopping email from ths site can be difficult, it is a multi step procedure.  See the link Stopping emails from ASC which Neil posted for all the details.

    Under normal circumstances, an uninstall/reinstall doesn't touch your content. (That being said, it's still always a good idea to maintain a current backup at all times in case of disasters of any sort.)
    I've never lost an account balance after an uninstall/reinstall.
