Show alarms in only one specific calendar

I've created an iCal alarm to run a saved Automator workflow every 15 minutes, every day, during certain hours, in a new calendar called iTunes Sync (the workflow creates a backup of my iTunes .xml to a remote NAS). Now the alarms appears on all of my calendars, not just the new one. How can I disable visibility of these alarms in my other calendars?

Have you upgraded to the new MobileMe calendar? - if you haven't, you should, because the old syncing method will be terminated on Thursday. For more on this please see this post:

Once you've done this, or if you already have: your MobileMe calendars appear in the sidebar under your MobileMe login name. You can move the iTunes Sync calendar to 'On My Mac':
Select the calendar. From the File menu choose Export...>Export. An .ics file will be saved in your selected location.
From the File menu choose New Calendar>On my Mac; name it iTunes Sync.
Select this new calendar. From the File menu choose Import... - select your .ics file and when prompted choose to add it to this new calendar (make sure it's the On My Mac one, not the MobileMe one).
When the calendar has been imported and you have checked it's OK, select the MobileMe version: control-click it and choose Delete.
Now the calendar is purely local to your Mac and won't sync.

In the calendar app, press the button in the upper left, "Calendars" and turn off/on the ones you want/don't want.

Use Time Machine on ONLY one specific folder?

I wish to use the Time Machine function to backup only one specific folder on my computer, the DROPBOX folder.
How can I implement this and inform Time Machine of my choice?
According to my first investigations, I only have the choice to select folders to EXCLUDE. This makes the setup of Time Machine unconfortable.

I agree with Jeffrey Jones2 above .
Makes no sense to backup the dropbox folder alone, Dropbox It is "cloud storage" and has its own backup. Dropbox keeps a snapshot every time you save a file. You can preview and restore.
If you go to the DROPBOX website you can view deleted file from the trash can icon (see below.)
From there it is a matter of Restore the file. This would work for accidentally deleted files, there maybe a 30day archive limit so read the small print for details.
If it is imperative to your backup plan, just drag and drop your folder to any external storage device, just not the Time Machine HD/partition.

IPhoto's Slide Show allows for only one song !

I love the feature of iPhoto's slide show for a user to accompany a slide show with music from one's iTunes library. However, you can only pick one song. That means that if you have a slide show longer than one songs worth of time (most slide shows will be this way), the song will just keep repeating.
Sure would be nice if there was a way to either play mutiple songs from a user's iTunes playlist. Alternatively, I've heard that the a capability may exist (outside of iTunes) to concatenate multiple songs together to accomplish the same end.
Any suggestions on how to do either of the above?

You can consolidate 2or more songs together in iTunes and name that (2 in 1) big song, Say, "eye of the tiger 2in 1) so this way it will be easy to locate it in the iTunes library while searching through iPhoto. Else you can create a separate albums in iTunes, and you put there only songs that are combined together.
Road #2
This is the one I prefer. You can export your slide show to QT (Quicktime). it requires some calculation to create a slide show that ends with the end of 1 song. Then you create another QT slide show, that ends with another songs.... etc..... after you merge all the parts together and you have a very long slide show with many songs!
Transitions:
Keep in mind that exporting to quicktime uses only the desolve transition. Which is fine with me. I have seen so many people doing some power point presentation and slide show with photos and using a array of different transitions..... in the same slide show.....it is disturbing, and takes away from viewing pictures. In cinema, it is said: "the thecniques should remain invisible" so keep the disolve transition... it is the least obtrusive .... your viewers, will never complain that there was no "cube effects"! Only you know about the missing effects!
Self contained file.
When you export to QT, you now have a file that you can send people through e-mail (given that it is a reasonable size) or you can even post them on web page! like a .mac page.
When you want to view the show, you just click on the file and play it. No need to start iPhoto. No need to have a MAC, it can be seen on a PC too with QT. You can put it on a CD or DVD, and can be viewed on a DVD player.
But when you play your slide show directly from iPhoto, you have to be in front of your mac, you have to have iPhoto open! But you can have you mac connected to a TV in the living room (I do) and then can play the slide show from iPhoto, using a TV-VGA adaptor that will play on your living room TV for a larger crowd to see. It can also be played through the sound system!!!! infinity and beyond!!
If you want more specific on how to export to QT and merge 2,3,4,5 files post back. I will get more into it.
I always export to QT, because this way, in the future, you do not have to mess around again in selecting the photos needed, and selecting the songs in iPhoto. I just click the QT file, and it will always play the same!

According to your description, you want to get sub-totals specific columns within columns group. Right?
In this scenario, we can use IIF() function in expression to achieve your goal. The expression will only return the total value when the column value is a specific value, otherwise we can make it return nothing. Try the following expression:
IIF(Fields!Column.Value="[specific value]",Sum(Fields!Total.Value),nothing)

Multiprovider shows data from only one cube?

I have created one infoprovider for slow moving stock which has 2 cubes (ZIC_C03 & ZIC_C07) & 1 ODS (ZMM_ODS)..
I have loaded 4 records in 2 cubes & 1 ODS..
When I go in tcode listcube to see data of multiprovider, it shows me data only from one cube ie ZIC_C03..
It doesnt display data from remaining 2 data targets (I have same records in all 3 data targets)
Kindly tell me how to solve this probelm

Check this info...might be helpful...
select the option "create reccomendations" in the bottom option in the identification tab.
and check now tf the data from alll the data providers is coming or not....
"Identification" is in the top just besides "dimension" option in the characteristics tab.
Just chose which infoprovider you want the respective char to come from.
"Selection" option will be in the key figure tab in the multiprovider....just chose the key figure you want to come from which underlying infoprovioder.
Identification tells which char will be populate in the multiprovoder through which infoprovider so if you have some char as A tehn identification should be from A char in all the infoproviders...just tick that option there.
In case of selections if you have same two key figures coming from two providers then select the provider which you want it come.

Repeating SMS alarm for only one contact?

I really love the iPhone. I personally dont have one but many friends do. But I can't find one function that I really need.
It's "repeating sms alarm", and only for some contacts. Like if a friend SMS one single signal/vibrate is enough. But if the boss SMS I need the phone to keep signal/vibrate until I read the SMS. Even at the time 03:35 I need to wakeup and read the SMS.
I have been googling a while and can't find this function. I have found a program that will do this on Windows Mobile. So I probably have to buy a WinMo mobile

The only thing available now, for all SMS, is two follow-up alerts, one 5 minutes after it comes in, one 15 minutes after that.
So I guess you might want a palm, symbian, or Windows Mobile phone instead. Or you could look read it the first time, since it is that important.

Showing desktop, then only one programme

In Leopard and Snow Leopard, you could show the desktop, then click on one programme and only the last active window from that programme would be shown. It was great for dropping files on the desktop into Finder or such. I can't seem to get this to work in Lion, it shows all the windows open for all programmes instead.

it shows each of the pdfs open but I have to create 20 pdfs and then combine them all. Then close. In previous version, all the individual files would open with only one application tab opening. That's what I want to get back to. I'm sure it's just a display setting somewhere.

TS2755 iMessage crashing when texting only ONE specific number?!

OMG!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For some reason my iPhone 5S messages is crashing when i try to text only ONE phone number!!!!!!!!! Then i even tried erasing his number, starting over, deleting any sign of the phone number in the phone book or recents...creating new contact, messaging without a name, etc!!!!!! and when I go to send the message or even tap on the name/number, it crashes and force closes Messages!!!!!!!! ***???????? Anybody!?

Quit the Messages application by double clicking the Home button and swiping up on the Messages thumbnail.
Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.

How do I show only ONE iCal calendar at a time?

I'm using iCal to manage several different calendars on different websites and also have different calendars of my own. Currently they all show in iCal and this is getting very difficult to manage. How do I adjust iCal to show only the events associated with one calendar, e.g. the calendar I have clicked on, rather than all of them? Do they all have to show?

Thanks - that's better than nothing, but switching them off/ on is still a bit fiddly as I will want to update different calendars frequently.
I was hoping that it would be possible to set it up to simply show the calendar you had clicked on on at the moment, and also to set a default set of calendars to be on as a group (i.e. those I use to organise my own time).
With one click I could then go from my personal calendars to one used for an external website and back again.

How do I sort so that all the songs for a particular album show up under only one album? Example: Eminem 'Encore' has multiple artists on the entire track list.

Example: Eminem 'Encore' has multiple artists on the entire track list. Several songs will just list Eminem as the artist, but a lot will have Eminem, FEATURING...so and so. Each song that has "FEATURING" shows up as a different album, so if you are not paying attention, and pull all the songs from a particular album over to your ipod, for example, and you don't see that not all the songs are there, you won't get them all to transfer.
Is there anyway to correct this?

Each tune gets a file name - that is how iTunes works. iTunes is a data base manager.
In a PlayList a reference is created that will link to a specific tune.
You can take the tunes that you do not want listed under a particular album name and change the album name using 'Get Info' for that tune(s) from the iTunes window.

If you're using Windows, follow these steps:
Quit iTunes.

Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8: \Users\username\Music\iTunes

How to make an user to have right to approve only one specific STS?

In our BPS STS, we assign user A both on the highest level of one STS hierarchy B and on the lower level of another STS hierarchy C. And because in our real business planning process, A should only have right to approve STS B and can be approved by others in STS C, so we grant authorization "R_STS_SUP" to this user A, but then he has all the authorizations for approving or rejecting plans in both B and C. How to make this user only have authorization to approve STS B? Is there someone can kindly solve this problem? Thank you very much.

but for the next block i want to write a query in which in the where condition i need to use the nummer from dummy.formule.this query is dymannically created at run time.
i am wrting this query in the when validate of the "dummy.formule" .
how i get the specific value that i required?

what you mean by "naam" ?
If the value has a specific format like as you write "1-xyz,99-fgj". you can use instr function and substr function to cut it out..
