Show AP Stats

Is there a good reference in how to interpret the "show AP stats" command?
I have a new (online for 15 days) 1142 listed below. It is the first 802.11n AP I've deployed. The stat counters look bad (TxFragment Count = TxFrameCount, RetryCount > TxFrameCount). But I don't know how to put it all together to say "here are the stats, this is the problem". I see TxFrameCount, but no corresponding RxFrameCount, so it is hard to calibrate some of the errors. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running code 5.2.193.0 (and can't upgrade right now) on a WiSM.

that goes through the various types of RF related stats, what they mean and offers some suggestions on troubleshooting.
Keep in mind
wireless is a half-duplex, acknowledged medium
statistics are only relevant over time, so if you don't know when "clear stats " was last run, there's not much value for a specific incident
here at OSI layer 2, units of communication are frames, and that if there's too much data to fit into a single frame, that data will be broken into multiple frames or fragments
when the RF environment is clean and the channel is available (i.e. nobody else is talking,) stations can pretty much transmit when they want to; if there's a lot of activity, stations will begin using RTS/CTS to "raise their hands" to receive a chance to transmit.
In making the connection to the Error Stats doc
FailedCount is describing what the doc calls Holdoffs
RetryCount is describing what the doc calls Retries
FcsErrorCount is describing what the doc calls CRC Errors
The fact that there are so many FcsErrorCount in relation to all the other statistics implies that the radio is receiving a lot of packets that are failing the CRC check. Assuming that the sender was smart enough to calculate the CRC correctly when the frame left the sender's antenna, and that the receiver is smart enough to do the CRC check correctly when it received the frame on its antenna, the corruption must be happening while the frame is in the air (interference.)

Will CSD shows Agent state as hold

Hi All,
Would like to know if Cisco supervisor desktop can shows agent state as hold?
Issue is that even if the Agent placed the customer on hold, Supervisor desktop will show the Agent in talking state, which will give wrong perception to supervisor

Hi San,
Within CSD, the hold times are joined together with the average talk (Avg Talking) time of an agent.
So the CSD display will not show when an agents has placed a call on hold

If you are getting the blank app update screen, and, many people are having this problem over the last several of days:
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.
Or try this from Apple:
I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out

Mirror Database shows Recovery state in Database mirroring in sql 2012

Hi I am working on DBmirroring and have encountered problem of mirror database showing recovery state.
I tried to resolve issue by removing database mirroring from principal ,removing endpoints from both the nodes and
finally firing alter database db1 set partner off statement also.But when reconfigure dbmirroring on principal it does not allow
start dbmirroring and mirror database db1 comes in to recovery state from restoring stage.

And what is the error ? If while configuring mirroring it fails for some reason you have to make sure the mirror database which has gone in recovery state needs to be brought in restoring state.

Can the show conn state command be used to monitor the connections for fix-up protocols?

Ethernet showing 'Unknown state'

I have just bought a time Capsule wanted to backup using ethernet, but my iMac wouldn't detect the capsule. I tested it with my laptop and it found it fine, so the cable and capsule aren't the problem.
I found both ethernet and firewire ports showing 'inactive'. I activated them but now they both show 'unknown state'. I have always used wireless so don't know if the ethernet was always like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see where you said AirPort was OFF in the first post. And I did not mean to imply that you did not already have it connected with a Ethernet cable. Obviously, if you want it wired, there has to be a wire...
Try going to System Preferences Network pane. In the sidebar, if AirPort is listed above Ethernet, click on the little gear icon and select +Set Service Order+. Make Ethernet appear first on the list. Then try restarting.

SPA 30x and 50x - show miss state when call was pickup

do you know, how to show on display miss state (softkey miss) when call was pickup in pickup group.
My IP phone is SPA 303 and 502, and 922 but SPA 922 is showing miss state well.
Server is Asteriks.

Call completed elsewhere has not been missed, so SPA922 is on the wrong side ...
If the line is declared as shared AND call is CANCELed with
Reason: SIP;cause=200;text="Call completed elsewhere"
then no missed call is logged.
I'm not sure if you can configure Asterisk not to use this Reason in such particular case. If I remember correctly, there is and option of Dial() Application for it ...
Of course, unless you have User->Supplementary Services->Log Missed Calls for extension in question set to "Yes" no missed calls are logged at all.
Rate useful advices and/or mark answer as "correct". It will help others to found solutions.

Xserve raid shows power state UPS backup

How do I change the power state from UPS backup to on like the rest of the xserve raids we have? None of the xserve raids we have ever used a UPS so I do not know why this one is showing power state UPS Backup under the information tab of the GUI.
This is annoying since it's causing the circle to be yellow instead of green. Any ideas or suggestions?

Never seen this. Does it help if you temporally disconnect the power cable?

How can I get a menu link to show active state in Spry?

I want to have my Spry menu bar show the page I am on as a highlighted with background-color and text-color being highlighted and different than the rest of the menu bar. It seems that there are two ways that people talk about doing this.
One is to modify the a:hover and a:focus styles in the Spry assets. If this is the answer, I am missing something. After much experimentation, I actually created a style for a:hover (which is rollover only) and a:focus (which is when you click on the bar). It has no bearing on the state of the menu when it is showing the page as the page the user is on. If someone can give me a clue whether the CSS in Spry assets is the way to go, please provide specific code that would go in a specific place. Generalities are not helping me go to a specific solution.

So that you do not have to repeat the style rules in every document, add the rules to the existing SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css. The class is added to the menu item that has the current document, in our case above it will be index.html or similar. The class will be placed on menu items that correspond to the current page.

To update your billing information, you would need to change your iTunes Store country to be able to enter the information for Switzerland. I found an article with the steps to update this:
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

JButton shows depressed state in 1.4.2 under Windows l&f

We have an application that is showing a pressed state on a JButton that we previously did not have. Currently this is happening under the Windows look-and-feel.
We don't want that pressed look on particular buttons, but do want to keep the rest of the look-and-feel properties.
Anyone know how to turn that off on individual JButton objects?

You'll have to ask Microsoft why they've designed it this way. The default visual style for XP is called Luna and it contains a bunch of different images for the various widgets. For buttons, they have different images for the normal/rollover/pressed/disabled/default states. The thing is that they provide a different set of these images for toolbar buttons as compared to other buttons. In Luna, the image for the normal toolbar button state is blank.
The company TGTSoft makes a product called XPStyle that allows you to download visual styles from www.themexp.org and use on your desktop. The Windows L&F for Swing tries as much as possible to make these work, but there are still some bugs. This is partly because Microsoft hasn't bothered to document the style mechanism. TGTSoft also has a product called VisualBuilder which allows you to create and edit these visual styles.
So how is Swing handling this? Use the source, Luke. Look for the method paintXPButtonBackground() in WindowsButtonUI.java. You'll find it in the src tree that comes with j2sdk.
We may be able to add a flag to control toolbar vs not toolbar painting in 1.5, but I can't promise anything yet.

Managed Server showing FAILED STATE

Hi,
I am new to weblogic administration. I have one Admin and Two managed server on clusters. Recently I am seeing one of the managed server state as FAILED with health showing as OK.Other managed server is shut down due to different problem. While I was troubleshooting I am noticing errors like given below.
select count(*) from dual" set up for pool "AgileContentPool" failed with exception: "java.sql.SQLException: Closed Connection".
I have enabled the following
Enabled the test connections on Reserve with test frequency set to 300.
I have also submitted an SR 3-5557683081 but do not seem to get a resolution until. Thought if I could get some resolution in this forum.

Hi,
I was able to test connection through weblogic console and it is successful. We use the weblogic for Agile application and users are able to use the system with no impact except that that server state shows as failed in weblogic console. JDBC drivers are updated with the latest ones.

Console not showing trace statement output

I have set up Flash Builder 4.6 for the first time for an ActionScript project. All good so far except that the console window doesn't show the output from my simple trace statement for my first little Hello World tester? There wasn't a console window on the workspace so I added one but on Run it says
No consoles to display at this time.
What do I need to do?

I don't see any attempt to assign text to any textfields in your code. What code are you using that is not working? Where would you be trying to assign to these textfields in your code? You need to create two textfields and give them instance names. Then, in your code, you assign the x and y values to those textfeilds...

I also don't see any code relative to checking the position of the mCoordPlane.mAlignment to show a message. After that object changes position you should have a conditional to test if its x,y properties are 0,0, and then assign to a textfield for that message or make a moviewclip appear that has that message, or whatever your intention is for displaying a message.

You may end up having issues with accuracy regarding geting a zero value since you are operating with decimal value changes... meaning you may not get exactly 0,0 values.
Also, in the code you showed there is unnecessary repetition of these lines...

        trace(mCoordPlane.mAlignment.y);
If each conditional includes it, then you only need to have it once at the end after the conditionals

PTO Accrual not showing in Statement of Earnings?

I have defined two PTO Accruals. Privilege Leave(PL) and Sick Leave(SL). Both are almost similar accruals except no of days permitted. PL is working correctly and showing up in Statement of Earnings while SL is not even showing up in Statement of Earnings. Please Help with possible causes!!!

The SOE inforamtion is not stored in any tables as such. It picks the data from various fields and populates. The data in SOE is configured through Work Structure --> Oraganization --> Description .
query for business group in the addition organiaztional information there is a button Others. there you will find SOE inforamtion and Detailed SOE inforamtion. U need to configure the required data in these tabs.
