Show current month's calendar based on computer date

As a page loads, is it possible to check the computer date
and display the current month's calendar (specialized with events),
either on the same page or on a separate page?
Any help would be appreciated,

Workaround to display current month in calendar

Hello,
This is regarding Mr. Krishnamurthy's workaround to display current month in calendar. He asked us to run the URL with some name value pairs attached to get rid of the default "Next" button that the portal will create. But if i add this as a portlet how will i let portal know to run the portlet with these parameter values.
one way that i'm guessing is to add these parameters to the page and pass the values in the customization page. But can we do without doing this customization and everything. And also how do i display the next month of the calendar in the portal itself(i.e inline rendering). Presently if i click the next month link it takes me out of the portal. Eagerly waiting for suggestions/solutions. Thanks and regards,

ICloud: how to get my appt entered on my iPhone to show up on my calendar in my computer

They helped me download iCloud to my PC today at the Apple Store, and my calendar now shows up on my iPhone -- yay -- but I entered an appointment on my iPhone, and it is not showing up on my computer. How do I make sure appointments entered on either end show up in the other device?

As it happens, I tried something and it seems to have worked. When I enter a new appt on my phone it automatically has it under the Calendar for me. I didn't know to even be aware of this. But there is another option, which is iCloud. When I click on the iCloud calendar for the appt I made on my phone, it then shows up on my calendar in my computer.
unfortunately, there are three calendars under iCloud -- calendar, local calendar, and punchbowl. When others have sent me appts that I'm invited to attend, they show up in either local or punchbowl, so I don't see them on my computer unless I go to that calendar, but then all my other appts are not visible. They do show up on my phone (tho not always on the same day as they appear on my local or punchbowl calendar on my computer), but I can't edit them, since I didn't make them, and therefore can't click iCloud calendar which would then make them visible in my regular calendar (which now needs to be the one under iCloud) on my computer.
any thoughts on how to get ALL my appts to show up on the same calendar on my computer? And how to edit an appt someone else sent me (especially to make it on the right date)?

2) Output
Pernr (datatype number 8)
Name (datatype string)
Day1 (datatype string)
Day2 (datatype string)
Day3 (datatype string)
Day4 (datatype string)
Day29 (datatype string)
Day30 (datatype string)
Day31 (datatype string)
3) The default value Day1, Day2 etc will be null
4) I will find out Leave Details. If Leave has been approved for say Day5 then I will populate Day5 = 'AP'.
5) I will write another logic to make the color of cell as 'Green' for Day5.
6) In Feb 2011, there are 28 days. There will be another logic to make the Day29, Day30, Day31 invisible for months like Feb 2011.
Please let me know if this approach is correct.
Please also let me know how to display day i.e. 01.04.2011 is Friday. In Calendar I have to display
                 1.4.2011 2.4.2011   3.4.2011
                 Friday      Saturday   Sunday

Display Current Month's calendar

Hello,
I have a calendar that will display several months worth of data. I would like the calendar to display the current month's data initially and allow the user to scroll back to previous months. Obviously, when you set the start_date and end_date you can only view the curretn month.
Is there a way to control the month that is initially displayed on the calendar?

This workaround does work quite well and I've implemented it successfully, but I do have a question:
I need to place this calendar into a page as a portlet. When I click the 'next,previous,current' buttons, it does take me to appropriate month, but opens up in a new page and I need it to stay as a portlet within the page. Have any ideas on how to implement this? I'm using Portal Release 2. Thanks for the help in advance.

Not that it helps, but this is why I wish they would just go back to customer activations at home instead of activating iPhones in store. They do it there, then 3 or 4 or 5 months later, the user gets around to plugging it in to iTunes for the first time only to have all their contacts as well as apps and music they've purchased wiped out without ever having backed it up...
You can try to restore the phone. It 'should' have been backed up before the initial sync, but I'm not positive about that. I'm not in front of a machine with iTunes now and don't want to steer you wrong. There should be a number of helpful threads here. Use the search box at the top of the page, you should be able to find step by step instructions if it's still possible.

Web Analysis and HFM : show Current Month

I tried to create a table which displays only figures coming from HFM and related to the current month.
In fact, I created a table which is populated with HFM data.
This table has only one column : "June", which is the current month.
What should I do to have automatically "July" the next time I open it if the current month is July ?

This can be achived,but little bit tedious process...
Create an intermediate report with three columns.
first column : Monthcolumn,which you are using in prompt.
Second column :This column is for selected month
Try to convert Jan 2012 to 201201,Feb 2012 to 201202...This can be achieved by writing a case statement like below
cast((Case when substring(column from 1 for 3)='Jan' then 01...........)||substring(column from 5 for 4) as int)
Third column:Prior month
cast((Case when substring(column from 1 for 3)='Jan' then 01...........)||substring(column from 5 for 4) as int)-1
Now add the same column formula to the main report and hide it(let's say column name will be "HIDED")
cast((Case when substring(column from 1 for 3)='Jan' then 01...........)||substring(column from 5 for 4) as int)
Now you can apply filter based on another request on the hided column.
HIDED<=Second column in intermediate report.
HIDED>=Third column in intermediate report.
Now you will get the desired reults in your report.

Month Year values based on Posting Date

In my super huge extra large InfoCube (0CFM_C10) I got a lot of data. I take Posting Date, some KFG and CalMonth/Year. Unfortinally CalMonth/Year duplicates records, if I drop it off the columns/rows I get valid data by Posting Date.
My question is this - is it possible to create some MonthYear Calculated KFG/field/formula or smthng. based on Posting Date? In other words I need Month/Year in rows/ columns or free characteristics...

When canceling a payment which was created in previous posting periods,
we get system message "Date deviates from permissible range",so
the workaround is changing back the posting period to the previous one
and try to cancel the payment.
However,another system message pops up when we try to cancel payment
after changing back the posting period,which is the "creation date" or
"posting date".
In this scenario, you should select the second option from the
cancellation options window, which is the 'Creation date'. I would like
to explain more below.
Posting Date- means the posting date of the cancellation document, it's
not the posting date of the incoming payment that you wanna perform the
cancellation. In your case, selecting this 'posting date' option, system
deems that you want to post this cancellation document on its own
posting date.
Creating Date- means the posting date/creation date of the incoming
payment, it makes sense that the system works fine if you select this
option. If you cancel the incoming payment and check the JE generated,
you will find that the posting date of this cancellation document is
actually recorded as the posting date of the incoming payment.

Show current month and previous month measures

My period names are stored like this in the Period Dim table 'Jan 2012'.....'Aug 2012', ... 'Dec 2012' etc..
To my request, i will pass only the current period value via. a drop down prompt, say 'Feb 2013' and it has to apply filter like this Period."Period name" in ('Feb 2013', 'Jan 2013').
I cannot use TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, -1, Period."period name") as my period name is a char. Can someone suggest any idea?

explain the exact problem..? as you mentioned you want to create query to show values for current month and last 12 months.. so I think you want to show values for 12 months from current data.. you can achive this by multiple way..
you can have selection screen and field with date .. and restrict based on system current date and 12 months before or you can handle this at your target.. .. I mean there are multiple ways to restrict data by date range..

I have one column Time.Month (Char column) with values in the format 2011 / 09. In my report i want to show previous 12 months from the current month. I dont have any date prompts in my report. Pls help.

Create a filter in Answers as below and use where ever you wish:
Month is between PREVIOUS_12_MONTH and PREVIOUS_MONTH
Use it in the report with current month Or previous month as per your requirements.

Displaying current month with all empty months

None of the answers I've seen for showing current month in a calendar has given a solid answer. So, here is my question. My objective is to display all calendar months rather they are empty or not, plus I want the calendar to start at the current month. I added coding to display a next month and previous month button, so you should be able to click next or previous month from the current month showing. I have the "Show All Empty Months" checked in the Display Options under Common Options and the start and end date are empty. I have a bind variable in my coding that defaults to the current month but it will not show an empty month. I get the "no rows returned" situation because it doesn't have anything in it. Is there a solution to showing all empty months?
Also, has anyone found a solution to hide/remove the default Next/Previous buttons? I read in one of the replies that this would be fixed in a forthcoming release. Is this true?

The calendar works on a sql query result. I had done something similar to what you are looking for by spoofing the sql query to return rows for all the months which I am interested in. I had a query like the following.
select *
from scott.emp a , ( select (trunc(sysdate) - 7910 + rownum) dat from user_objects ) b
where b.dat = a.hiredate (+)
Hope you can do something similar to this.

Date Picker - show specific month of perticaular year

Hi Experts,
I am using sam.m.DatePicker control. By default date picker show current month-year when user open date picker. I want to show specific month of specific year when date picker is open.
for eg: In my app, if student appearing for next year exam(say 2016) then when he click on date picker it should show April of 2016 instead of april of 2015. I don't want to set date by default. Student should select that date manually.
Is it possible to show specific month and year for date picker when it open.

I found standard SAP Delivered variable - 0CMONTH to calculate current month. But i want both current month and previous month. IF it is not avialble can you please provide me the ABAP code..
