Show document´s attachments using content presenter

            DataBinder binder = idcClient.createBinder();
            binder.putLocal("IdcService", "DOC_INFO");
            binder.putLocal("dID", "xxxxx");
            binder.putLocal("dDocName", "XXXXXXX");
            ServiceResponse response =
                idcClient.sendRequest(userPasswordContext, binder);
            DataBinder db = response.getResponseAsBinder();
            List<DataObject> atts = db.getResultSet("manifest").getRows();
Hi
I'm currently recovering attachments as above ..
I know exactly that line ..
List <DataObject> atts = db.getResultSet ("manifest"). getRows ();
returns me the list of attachments.
But I would do this via content presenter or otherwise do not use java code written by me..
I want to use ADF and WebCenter Framework in their entireties .. I want to use the most of the products ..
Have some way?
Any help is welcome ..

please.. give an EL that´s works fine..

  • Using Content Presenter inside  Page Template

    Hi all,
    I want to show content of footer from UCM, so I used Content Presenter in the Footer to do it.
    But I only can see the content when the template at the Edit mode and in the Preview Mode or normal mode I can't see anything
    Do you have any suggestion for me
    Thanks a lot!

    You can Add content preseneter and also check whether you hav put all the footer requirements in the UCM and that should be in released mode.
    After adding to the page you can choose the template summary to show in the desired view...
    here is the complete step by step process yo can go through it.

  • Passing dynamic content to a Document viewer in a Content Presenter Templat

    Hi, This problem is probably for Yannick. Our customer has a bunch of documents in UCM. They want to be able to put links to these documents in their Navigation Model (Webcenter Spaces App) which bring up the document as content inside a page, i.e. inside a Document Viewer that is the content area of the page. In their last portal, they did this by creating a page for every document because the Document Viewer in Spaces requires an itemId to a specific document.
    We need to create a single page and pass the URL or UCM Content Id to the Document Viewer that is the content area of the page. I tried creating a custom Content Presenter Template with a Document Viewer Task Flow inside. In the Nav Model, I have added a Content Item with the path to the doc in UCM. but it doesn't work. I even went into my CP Template and hard coded the resource Id parameter of the DV Task Flow but nothing comes up.
    If I add a document in Spaces to the page, I add it in a Document Viewer and the "Item Id" is set automatically. Then it works. But I NEED to be able to do this dynamically to avoid tons of separate pages, one per document.
    Please help. Thanks, Gary Kind

    I was able to get it to partially work by using a link item in the navigation model. As URL parameter 'docId', I put the UCM resource ID, e.g. ucm_conn#dDocName:UCM_CLUSTER-000027. In the destination page, I have a Document Viewer Task Flow whose resourceId input parameter I set to #{param.docId}. This works in that the Document Viewer appears nicely and has the correct path/breadcrumbs. I can display the document in a browser from the View menu item. I can download it from the download menu. However the actual file contents do not show up. In the center where they should be, I get an Error-404 file not found. Why is that? It is finding the file in UCM, and I can access it other ways in the DV, but it can't find it in to put it in the Viewer area? That ain't right.
    How do I get this to work correctly?

  • How to use content presenter with a multilanguage site

    I would you like to know if it's possible to manage a content presenter with multi language ? Normally, if i would show a content with a template view , i choose a UCM content to the parameter interface of the content presenter. Anybody has found a solution to found automatically the right content when i choose a another language. For example, i create a content presenter associated to a English content on UCM , is it possible when the user changes his language to spanish for example to have the related content in spanish or not ?

    There are a few options to do this but it requires quite a lot of customizations. Unfortunatly there is no out of the box solutoins to tackle this issue.
    First of all you have to make sure the content in UCM is related to each other so when you have a document in english, you can easily find the same document in another language. This can be based upon additional meta fields or by using the related content component.
    You probably also want to setup a workflow so when an english (or any language) document is checked in, the workflow kicks in and notify some other users so they know they have to translate that document.
    In Webcenter you have to make sure that the content presenter can show content based upon language. Normaly you can't realy build dynamic queries in the content presenter and when you select all the content from a folder, there is no way to add filters based upon language.
    In order to solve this issue, you can use the personalization server. By creating a scenario that takes the language as an input parameter (or by just querying the profile) you can build a dynamic CMIS query that can be used to power the content presenter. When you have configured the personalization server and create a scenario, you will be able to select that scenrio in the content presenter instead of selecting items or folder.
    It's quite a bit of work to make it multilingual but currently this is the only solution i have found...

  • Image gallery in webcenter using content presenter template

    Hi,
    I created a content presenter template for image gallery in webcenter.
    The images from UCM are not displayed without log in to the webcenter application.
    I am getting a error like
    " Error calling UCM server associated with repository UCM.  The service GET_FILE was called with user anonymous at time 3/18/15 11:12 AM, and returned statuscode -1.
    oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ServiceException: Unable to download 'HSCSRV154.ALLE006130'. Access denied by records manager "
    Once i log in the images are displayed.
    What is the problem here?please help.
    I am using the latest webcenter extension in jdev 11.1.1.7
    Thanks,

    Hi Vinod,
    I tried using af:image like below and its the same issue.I have read in most of the blogs that since this is in the content presenter template, the image has to be displayed using output text with escape set to false.
    <af:image source="#{node.propertyMap['REGDEF:Image'].asTextHtml}" id="image5"/>
    I am not using <img> anywhere, its just that on the webpage when the image doesnt appear, I tried to see the source of the image using Firebug and it shows following:
    <img src="${wcmUrl('rendition','xyz/web')} " alt = "Logo">

  • Image not rendering when using Content Presenter Template

    I have checked in an image in UCM with security group as "Public" and in the content presenter template I have the following code to display image:
    <af:outputText value="#{node.propertyMap['TESTREGDEF:Image'].asTextHtml}" id="image5"
    escape="false"/>
    The image does not render on the page and it displays as a broken Image.I tried to print the value of the image URL and it is:
    <img src="${wcmUrl('rendition','xyz/web')} " alt = "Logo">
    Am I doing anything wrong?

    Hi Vinod,
    I tried using af:image like below and its the same issue.I have read in most of the blogs that since this is in the content presenter template, the image has to be displayed using output text with escape set to false.
    <af:image source="#{node.propertyMap['REGDEF:Image'].asTextHtml}" id="image5"/>
    I am not using <img> anywhere, its just that on the webpage when the image doesnt appear, I tried to see the source of the image using Firebug and it shows following:
    <img src="${wcmUrl('rendition','xyz/web')} " alt = "Logo">

  • Content presenter to show old version of a document.

    We are using content presenter to show content from UCM. In one case we want to show old version of document. We want to pass document-name and rev-label to content presenter and would like to show that particular version only.
    Content presenter take datasource as parameter but I believe I can only pass doc-name to it and it will always show latest document. Is it correct?
    I am fine if someone can provide cmis query to retrieve one particular version.
    Thanks
    Sanjeev.

    I was also thinking on similar line but problem is ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile returns only latest versions.
    Let say my doc-name is HC_AP_HELP_DOC, I put following query
    SELECT * FROM ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE ora:p:dDocName = 'HC_AP_HELP_DOC' ;
    It correctly show the latest version. If I put additional condition of revision-no as 'SELECT * FROM ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE ora:p:dDocName = 'HC_AP_HELP_DOC' and ora:p:dRevLabel = '3'', it workds only for revision 3, because that is the latest one. If I change version no to 1 or 2, it does not show anything. I believe its all because version 1 and 2 are not selected by ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile so additional filter can not do anything.
    Do we have any select query which can return all versions of document?
    Thanks
    Sanjeev

  • Using CMIS in Content Presenter to retrieve a DAM image rendition

    Hi,
    Can anyone please help with how to retrieve a specific rendition (e.g. Web, Preview, Thumbnail) of an image file through a CMIS query in Content Presenter.
    The image was upload and converted successfully using DAM (Digital Asset Manager) using the 'BasicRenditions' default option and the different renditions are visible within Content Presenter. I am able to display documents and images in Content Presenter using CMIS, but want to be able to amend this query to obtain one of the converted renditions.
    I would like to know how to do this and appreciate your assistance with this. The environment consists of Webcenter 11g and UCM 11g.
    Thanks

    Thanks for your responses.
    Jiri - I had also read somewhere that this isn't supported currently using a CMIS but wasn't 100% sure. I have raised an SR with Oracle.
    Jaap - Thanks for those links. I have seen the first one previously. Our requirement also involves retrieving images based on the values of custom fields which we have created for which values are supplied during check in. E.g. a DeptId field which is populated during check in, and when retrieving content in Content Presenter we use a CMIS query to retrieve content based on the DeptId value. This is why CMIS would have been ideal. I am not sure whether accessing the static images as outlined in those blog posts would still enable to do this, but will investigate.
    Thanks

  • Issue with using SSXA region templates with Content Presenter.

    I am using Content Presenter taskflow in Webcenter Portal. When i try to use the SSXA region template with content presenter, it doesnot render the html markup. But if i use normal UCM region templates(hscp), its rendering the html markup properly.
    Http Server acts as a proxy for both webcenter and ucm. Enabled SiteStudio, SiteStudioforExternalApplications, Webcenter Configure and other required features in Webcenter. Can any one tell me, if i missed any step?
    All i am getting the output as
    ${data.body}
    Taskflow binding
    <taskFlow id="doclibcontentpresenter1"
    taskFlowId="/oracle/webcenter/doclib/view/jsf/taskflows/presenter/contentPresenter.xml#doclib-content-presenter"

    <parameter id="regionTemplate" value="${true}"/>
    <parameter id="maxResults" value="${''}"/>
    </parameters>
    </taskFlow>
    region template:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>

    xmlns:wcm="http://www.oracle.com/jsp/wcm">
         <wcm:dataFile var="data"/>
         ${data.body}
    </jsp:root>
    This uses one region definition containing WYSIWYG element. I am able to edit and could type the html markup or data in WYSIWYG editor at contribution mode, but when i click save and close, all i am getting output as ${data.body}
    I manually verified the data file in UCM, and i could see the information stored (the data entered in contribution mode)

    Prasath,
    I'm not 100% sure but i believe that WebCenter does not support everything from the WCM tags. You can read the topic on SSXA on the WebCenter EMG:
    https://groups.google.com/group/webcenter-emg/browse_thread/thread/2ef9cca0252a0ae3
    Just a quote:
    "With the 11.1.1.4 release, WebCenter is very much targeted at the type of sites that would have previously been done using the WCM components (eg. Extranet, Internet sites). By surfacing the site studio region templates (and allowing in place editing of the documents) many of the use cases can be met. The question now is not whether,or not, the native templating + region support is sufficient for your needs (WebCenter does not support all the WCM artefacts as yet). "

  • Edit option not enabled for workflow content from within Content Presenter in Webcenter Spaces

    I have a webcenter spaces portal page with a content presenter displaying a html page using the default out of the box template. The html page is located in webcenter content / UCM under a folder on which the " All Reviewer" seeded workflow is enabled. The issue i am seeing is when the file is in workflow the edit option is not being enabled even though the reviewer should be able to edit/approve the content in this step. The other functions like workflow approve or reject and switching between workflow version and published version are all enabled. Also when rejected the content does not show edit option from the content presenter (cntrl-C option) for the original author to make any updates.
    What would need to be done to enable editing from within the content presenter for workflow content?
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Sreedhar
    We are using WCP 11.1.1.8.5
    To recreate the issue
    1)  Login to WCC Portal: Spaces as admin user , create a New Page under a webcenter spaces portal
    2)  Under the space , Pages Section , select the page and click edit
    3) In Design mode , choose Content Management and Add Document Explorer and Add Content Presenter on the page
    4)  The Document Explorer will default to the Current Space/portal directory under MyWebcenterSpaces in UCM
    5) Create a directory "content" under the Portal space using the document explorer.
    6) Right Click on Content folder and choose details. In Details view , go to File->workflow settings and pick a seeded workflow -> MyWCSAllReviewer. Add a user as workflow approver
    7) After workflow is enabled on this folder upload a basic html page with simple text into this folder
    8) Now in the design mode choose edit in the content presenter and select the "single content view" with default template to display an Image or HTML. Click browse and select the html that was added to workflow
    9) Save the Page and view the portal. Workflow should now be enabled for any content changes to that html page.
    10) Click Cntrl-shift-c in portal/space as an authenticated user with edit access to content and make an edit to content , this will trigger worklow . The author currently will see edit option get disabled once content enters workflow
    11)  Login as approver to the portal and cntrl-shift-C to the portal and workflow options(approve and reject) are enabled but the edit option is not. If you reject content , the author should be able to edit content in the content presenter mode, this also is not available. The issue is the content is now no longer available for editing from wthin content presenter if it is in workflow to either the approver or the original author depending on workflow step. If you check the same content under the document explorer the option to edit is enabled. Is this a bug /issue with content Presenter or some option needs enabled?

  • Caching by content presenter

    I have a content in UCM, which is added on a webcenter page using content presenter. We have enabled security in UCM and only certain role can edit content.
    Initially if I provide user does not have that role, he is not able to edit content from webcenter page. Ctrl+Shift+C only shows a refresh icon. New/Edit icon are disabled.
    If I assign role to user and then try to logout/login in application, webcenter page still not able to show new/edit icon. If I try in after some time (5-10 min) I can see changes. Ctrl+Shift+C starts showing new/edit icons. Looks like some kind of caching is used by content presenter and its not able to check if user can edit content or not.
    I believe content presenter will be contacting UCM to know if content is editable by user or not but I dont' think caching is happening in UCM as if I login to UCM directly and try to edit content, it works the way it should immediately after role change. So it looks like some caching in webcenter portal application only. That too only in content-presenter because if I try running expression like #{securityContext.userInRole}, it returns expected value.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Sanjeev.

    For your first question ... I don't know, may be you can delegate an instance's administration of content presenter to a Visitor, bun anyway I haven't tried.
    For the second I've been thinking on it for a while and as the uRl says you can not do that but. You cannot do that with the template they use, may be you can write a new one who first shows the button CHECK (IN|OUT) and then allows to edit, once it's saved show the message "Your changes will be visible after de document it's approved for publishing". And then return to the published content. That is something that i'm not sure can be done but this is the process in the Administration Console. Maybe i'll be developing something like that if i got good results, i'll share it

  • How can I send multiple attachments using SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND?

    Hi,
    I hope someone can offer advice on my problem.
    My requirement is to allow users to select one or more documents from an ALV grid.  I am then required to send these documents to multiple users via email using function module SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND.
    I can successfully send one document as an attachment.  However, I can't seem to figure out how to send multiple documents as attachments using SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND.  Is this done in the packing list?
    Is there some way to tell the program where the 1st attachment ends and the 2nd attachment starts?
    My attachment content is in i_att_cont.
      CALL FUNCTION 'SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND'
        EXPORTING
          object_hd_change = l_title
          object_type      = 'RAW'
          raw_editor       = abap_true
          starting_at_x    = '5'
          starting_at_y    = '1'
          ending_at_x      = '120'
          ending_at_y      = '20'
          edit_title       = 'X'
          external_commit  = abap_true
        TABLES
          objcont          = i_objcont
          rec_tab          = i_rec_tab
          packing_list     = i_packing_list
          att_cont         = i_att_cont
          exclude_fcode    = i_exclude_fcode
        EXCEPTIONS
          object_not_sent  = 1
          owner_not_exist  = 2
          parameter_error  = 3
          OTHERS           = 4.
    If you require more information, please let me know.  I will be happy to provide it.
    Thanks.

    I finally found the solution.
    The trick is to ensure you put the correct values in the body_start, body_num and objlen fields of the packing list.
    Each additional attachment should start (body_start) at the end of the last attachment + 1.
    The value for body_num is equal to the number of lines in the attachment being added.
    And the objlen field is calculated by multiplying the number of lines in the attachent * 255.
    Static data
       gs_packing_list-file_ext = lv_ext.
       gs_packing_list-transf_bin = 'X'.
       gs_packing_list-objla = sy-langu.
       gs_packing_list-objtp = 'EXT'.
       gs_packing_list-objdes = lv_filename.
       gs_packing_list-objnam = 'Attachment'.
       gs_packing_list-head_start = 1.
       gs_packing_list-head_num = 1.
    Body Start
       CLEAR lv_count.
       DESCRIBE TABLE gt_temp_att_cont LINES lv_count.
       gs_packing_list-body_start = lv_count + 1.
    Body Num + Object Length
       CLEAR lv_count.
       DESCRIBE TABLE gt_att_cont LINES lv_count.
       gs_packing_list-body_num = lv_count.
       gs_packing_list-objlen = lv_count * 255.
       APPEND gs_packing_list TO gt_packing_list.

    I've been working on a site migration project from a content manager to Weblogic Portal, and for the Weblogic Portal site we are planning to use Content Presenter Portlet to show most of the content that already exist on that site, almost all is just text and images, but there is a problem with the usability of the portal, I mean the process to create a new page(desktop) is not that simple for a non-technical user, for example the user has to create the content in the repository organize everything very well and then create the desktop, add the content presenter protlet and then configure the portlet and of course if the author wants to edit the content when the repository has library services enabled he has to follow a large process...chose edit, chech out, choose property, edit, save, check in and finally see those changes(or wait until it is approved)... in the old content manager is not that difficult to do that... so I've been thinking to write some templates for the content presenter portlet that reduces the number of steps, windows and clics for the assistant, and allow the authors to create the content instead of just choosing it, and finally allow the in-line editing with library services enabled.... What do you think about it??? I know this is not a simple task.... but I want to know your opinion.... has somebody tried to do something similar??? any comment is welcomed...

    This is a sample template which explicitly was not implemented to support Library Services. The OOTB sample application in which this template lives does not have Library Services enabled on the repository. You are free to take this sample and modify it to suite your needs, either for learning or to modify to meet your requirements. The template was amply commented so that you can follow the ideas and implementation.

  • Custom Content Presenter Template gives Empty result

    Hi All,
    I am Using Jdev 11.1.1.6 and am trying to display UCM content via a custom template using content presenter.
    I have a page with the following:
    <af:region value="#{bindings.doclibcontentpresenter1.regionModel}" id="r1"/>
    The bindings for the content presenter taskflow:
    <taskFlow id="doclibcontentpresenter1"
    taskFlowId="/oracle/webcenter/doclib/view/jsf/taskflows/presenter/contentPresenter.xml#doclib-content-presenter"
                  activation="deferred"
                  xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/binding">
          <parameters>
            <parameter id="taskFlowInstId" value="${'photo'}"/>
            <parameter id="datasourceType" value="${'dsTypeQueryExpression'}"/>
            <parameter id="datasource"
                       value="#{backingBeanScope.NewsBean.photoContentQuery}"/>
            <parameter id="templateCategory" value="${''}"/>
            <parameter id="templateView" value="${'templates.photos.list'}"/>
            <parameter id="regionTemplate" value="${false}"/>
          </parameters>
    </taskFlow>
    And the photoContentQuery bean method return result of the Query i.e  SELECT * FROM ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE ora:p:xRegionDefinition = 'PHOTO_REG_DEF' AND ora:p:xArchiveFlag<>'No' ")
    I have a fragment with the portal resource attributes set as:
    Category name = Default Templates
    Category ID = oracle.webcenter.content.templates.default.category
    Category Default View = true
    View ID = templates.photos.list
    The above fragment has this code: I also made this fragment has portal resource.
    <dt:contentListTemplateDef var="nodes">
            <af:panelGroupLayout id="pnlContainer" layout="vertical"
                                 >
                <af:iterator id="pagList" value="#{nodes}" var="node" >
                    <af:panelGroupLayout layout="horizontal" rendered="false">
                    </af:panelGroupLayout>
                        <af:panelGroupLayout id="pnlContent" layout="vertical">
                         <dt:contentTemplate node="#{node}"
                              view="template.photo"
                                nodesHint="#{nodes}"/>
                    </af:panelGroupLayout>
                </af:iterator>
                </af:panelGroupLayout>
      </dt:contentListTemplateDef>
    and
    <dt:contentTemplate node="#{node}"
                              view="template.photo"
                                nodesHint="#{nodes}"/>  this is another pagefragment contains the following code.
    <dt:contentTemplateDef var="node">
        <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl2">
          <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1" layout="vertical" styleClass="photoImg">
            <af:outputText value="#{node.propertyMap['PHOTO_REG_DEF:PHOTO'].asTextHtml}"
                           id="ot1" escape="false"/>
          </af:panelGroupLayout>
        </af:panelGroupLayout>
      </dt:contentTemplateDef>
    When I run my project on the Integrated WebLogic Server and when I click on my page, the data is coming empty.
    When I see the Administrator console, this content presenter template is in Hidden by default. I just edit the template and made it availabe. But still am unable to get result in the required template.
    On my page, if I do not specify the  <parameter id="templateView" value="${'templates.photos.list'}"/>, then I will get the result with default content presenter template.
    Could any one please help me out?
    Thanks
    Kotresh

    Hi,
    I am able to get the result with required custom content presenter template. But every time when I run the project , I need to explicitly need to make it "show" my custom content presenter display template i.e. in the Administration console, initially it is in Hidden state, I need to edit and make it show.
    I already made this template as portal resource  but why it is still be in Hidden state. what extra step do I need to make in order to move it to "show" state?
    Thanks
    Kotresh
