"Show Edges" on - Can't Resize

In Illustrator CS4, I have suddenly not been able to resize by dragging the bounding box. Rather than showing 8 open boxes on the corners and middle, I have 4 closed boxes only on the corners.
I can't see a preference that has been clicked to change this.
I DO have "Show Edges" turned on, so that's not the problem. I also am using the proper Selection tool (black pointer) not the Direct Selection tool (white pointer).

While using list view in the finder, I can't resize the various categories (name, size, type, etc). This is very annoying, as my "name" category is expanded so wide you can't see any of the others! How can I resize my itunes window?

I don't know if it matters or not, however I'll show you the situation:
I use a single library on an iPod and two aliases pointin at the library. One is on my iMac 20" and the other is on my PB 12". This morning opening itunes on the 12" I found a very big window, bigger than my work area. I can't resize it with the mouse. Any idea? thank you

Now I was facing with amx page didn't resize when keyboard pop-up, so user cannot scroll for more fields below,
Btw iOS is normal to resize when keyboard shown.

Btw about Android resize view when keyboard show-up, I can fix it but it should include in next release of ADF Mobile.
My fix is (Thanks for JoeHuang's way to browse Android template file : Google Play Store does not accept ADF Mobile apps for tablets)
- Navigate to file <JDev Install>/JDeveloper/JDev/Extensions/oracle.adf.mobile/Android/Oracle_ADFmf_Framework.zip
- Make a backup copy of the zip file
- Unzip the file, which would extract all files into a "framework" directory
- Navigate to framework/template/AndroidManifest.template.xml file
- Change android:windowSoftInputMode value to "adjustResize" Ex. android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustResize"
- Zip up the framework directory and name zip file as Oracle_ADFmf_Framework.zip, replacing the old one. Please make sure the zip file has the exact same directory structure as before.
- In JDeveloper, before deploying the application again, please do a "Clean All" to clean out all old deployment artifacts.
- Deploy the app again
After fix, views is automatically resize when keyboard pop-up, but seems weird with navigation bar that will show as it include in view too.
I don't know why ADF Mobile put android:windowSoftInputMode value as "adjustPan" in manifest file, as Android document said as view will not resize when keyboard showing (Ref: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element.html#wsoft)

Did you turn off the "show transform controls" option in the move tool?
It sounds like you were using that previously.
And you can always transform by using the Free Transform command (command/control T).

How can I resize a JFrame ,to fit into the screen size

I have a Jframe which has JPanel and JPanel contains lot of other components.JPanel size is 980,1400. when i use JFrame.show method jpanel goes beyond the screen size in length and I am not able to see the portion below the screen.How can I resize the JFrame so that JFrame and JPanel shrinks to fit into the screen size.I need this because I have a PRINT button at bottom of the JPanel.Thanks.

Pen Tool Path Prediction Missing (Show Edges doesn't fix it)

Hi all,
I just encountered a problem with Illustrator's pen tool that I don't know how to fix. As I am drawing a path, the path prediction is missing. Normally the path connects from your last point to your cursor and you can calculate where you want to place your next point.
Show edges does not solve the problem. Show edges is currently activated and the path prediction isn't visible.
Does anyone know how to fix this? A Google search didn't do me any good.

Monika Gause, Thanks for the suggestion. I am however on CC and do not see an option for rubberband. Any other ideas? This problem slows my work flow down drastically and is incredibly frustrating.

Can't resize store columns in newest versions of iTunes

I can't resize the columns in the iTunes store in the newest versions of iTunes. Supposedly it works fine on the Mac version.
This is very frustrating.
There can be 20 versions of a song, and in order to know which one is right, I have to listen to each one of them (which doesn't necessarily play the right 30 second clip to know if it's the right version) since the default column size isn't big enough to show more than a couple words. I went from buying about 7 songs a week with iTunes down to NONE. After buying about 6 WRONG versions of the songs I gave up. Good job Apple. :rolleyes:
Is Apple eventually going to fix this?

I know exactly what you mean about the 20 versions of the song showing up in the main page, and then having to go to each separate album and hope that hovering trick works. Or click on the See All, I just now found that.
It was MUCH easier to just resize the columns in older versions and not go clicking back and forth through all these pages.

Yosemite clean install shows that it can partition only in two

HI,
I have searched the forum, but wasn't able to find a suitable answer in my case.
I have done a clean install of yosemite on macbook pro. I wanted to install ubuntu(linux). For which if I want to make partitions it shows like "You can only split the partition in two by click +" . Why can't I make uneven partitions like 250GB for Mac and 100 GB for linux? Am I missing something here?

To resize the drive do the following:
1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
After the main menu appears select Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select the hard drive's main entry then click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
2. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss. Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.

Can we shrink data file if objects stored on fragmented space
for example if i
1- delete records from a table
2- shrink objects
if i do above two process and then i can resize or shrink the datafiles on which these objects are stored.

Most likely, you inadvertently triggered Hide Bounding Box. To rectify, choose View > Show Bounding Box.
(Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+B toggles this.)

ITunes 11 adding songs to Library which don't show up but can be found by Searching - but can't be player

I got a little problem here...
My iTunes 11 won't show the titles of a new album i tried to import!
I imported them the normal way, after this i recognized there was a problem, i had the album two times. I tried to fix it by changing the album name on every track again... It didn' work so I removed the tracks from my Library... then I wanted to reimport them, but... they just didn't come up...
I looked for them and found them in my Media folder. I deleted them there again and tried to import again... Nothing... they just won't appear in iTunes but are always present in the Media folder!
I can also search for the band in iTunes and can find it, but if i press play (also if the songs can be found in the Media folder) it won't do that... it just doesn't show them, i can't remove them from my Library and can't play them!
Does anyone have a solution for a problem like this?

I am recieving calls from a solicitor. Show up as no caller Id. I want to block all calls that do not show caller Id. Can I do that? I am on the do not call list

How do I block all in coming calls that do not show on my caller Id. Phone says "no caller id" This particular call is from a place selling septic tank cleaner. They leave an automated voice mail. They are calling me over and over. I am on the national do not call list but that's no help. Because the caller id doesn't show anything I can't even report them.
I remember in the past calling a number and before my call would go thru I would have to enter my phone number so the party I was calling knew who was calling them. That is what I want to do. I want to block all calls from "no caller id" "number unavailable" Just FYI my phone is an IPHONE 5 and I am on Verizon.
Any help would be appreciated.
