Show image on wrong answer

I have multiple choice question. If an answer is incorrect, I
want to show an image that says sorry, try again and have the Try
Again button there to attempt to answer the question again. Is
there a way to do this?
I tried having an incorrect answer go to another slide with
the image and then putting a button to go back to the multiple
choice slide, but when I go back to that slide all it won't allow
me to select another answer or click the submit button.
Using Captivate 3.
Any ideas?

To expound on what my fellow forum member jbradley88 offered,
here is how you might create an image that also has a fictitious
button that is part of the image. Then use the image as the Failure
caption. You do this by editing the Failure caption, clicking the
Caption Type drop-down and scrolling to the bottom of the list.
Then choosing <Custom>. This provides a dialog that allows
you to browse to the image and choose it.
Note that you wouldn't want to have any text entered into the
dialog. The text will be part of the image you browse to.

Can a Quiz show Wrong Answers at End?

I have found tutorials outlining how to make a simple quiz that says if you got the individual question right or wrong.
My client would like to display the wrong answers "AT THE END". Is there something possible along these lines?

You can certainly show the user what they got right and wrong, or only what they got wrong as you see fit, but it is not a simple matter to do. A lot will depend on the length of the quiz, the number of registers you are using to create it and so on. However, in just the same way that you can keep track of how many you scored, you can also create a system that takes you through a number of screens to say what you got wrong.
However, you cannot automatically generate a list of the incorrect answers and present them as a single screen (or menu) unless you have only got a very few questions in total. This is because you need to create a screen for every single possible combination of answers and pick the right one from the whole lot.
Instead, what you do is show a screen saying something like "you got five wrong... click to see them" and then present the viewer with a series of five screens that they can click through to see where they went wrong.
It isn't a straightforward task for anyone who has not scripted a DVD before... but it is possible to do.

CRS 10.1 with Endeca 3.1.1 -home page doesn't show image and promo products

Thanks to this forum and especially cmore I'm close to setting up my local dev environment, but still have something to resolve.
I have ATG 10.1.2 + CRS + Endeca 3.1.1. I installed BCC with Staging and Production (switchable) stores.
The problem is with Production CRS - both US Store and Home Store don't show image and promoted products on Home page.
What I see below Top Category pane is empty square. Unlike Production, home page on Stage works fine - I see homepage_promo_storeSiteUS_en_anonymous.png and promoted products.
I think the problem is not related to Endeca, as I currently connect both Stage and Prod to the same Endeca CRS, I also believe that issue is not related to configuration - I tried to run production with Stage configuration, and it changed nothing. I believe the issue is somewhere in data (DB) - but I did full deployment for Prod and it didn't help. I verified targeters and slots on Prod through ACC, and they looks fine. So don't know at this point what to do next.
While doing full deploy I see some errors in the log which might be related to the issue, But the same errors I see on Stage as well and still Stage works without issues:

Last update: I compared Stage and Prod home pages HTML code, and notice that the first difference between two pages is absence of endeca-slot Div, the below code present on Stage, and is Not present on Prod:

After some analysis and experiments:
Most likely the issue is with Scenarios. HomeTheme Slot is populated by Theme scenario.
For some reason the slot remains empty on "bad" environment. On "good" environment the slot contain promo content item after the first call of the slot. I checked respective targeter and promo content item, and they look OK, so I believe something wrong with Scenarios.

Jpeg icons not showing image in My Pictures

This hasn't happened to me before. When I edit a jpeg in Photoshop CS3 in this case, and save it in a file in My Pictures, when I go to find it again I notice there is just the Photoshop Logo instead of the actual picture image showing, not too helpful to find pictures you are looking for. It is still a jpeg but it switched from the actual picture to the logo after I saved it from Photoshop. Any tips? I'm hesitant to edit any more from my trip for fear of having to open up one at a time to see what it is!

Vista 32bit is the computer I
am on. On another reply they asked if I had the wrong Windows Explorer setting so didn't show images. All jpeg images show as downloaded from camera but when I edit and save from Photoshop, those edited images then show the PS icon only, no picture.

Reviewing Slides On Wrong Answer?

When in questions is there a way of reviewing previous slides when a wrong answer is given; for example:
A standard presentation of 50 slides is viewed and then candidates are taken to the question slides
If question 1 is answered correctly it moves onto question 2
if question 2 is answered incorrectly the candidate is then taken taken to the relevant slide (say slide 30) and returned to question 2 for another attempt.
The only way I have managed to do this so far is to do a slight workaround by changing the way the reporting works i.e. duplicating the relevant reiew slides and putting them after the question slides. Unfortunately this means the only way I can record their scores is to show quiz attempt not the native scoring results because on each review (out of the quiz) it resets the scores and shows an overall quiz fail for each wrong answer. This obviously isn't the correct way of reporting quiz scores i.e.
Number of questions set
Incorrect answers
Correct answers
Percentage
Pass/Fail
This means that using this workaround I'm not getting the level of reporting normally available
So my question is simply, is there a proper way I can record the correct scores and still retain the ability to review wrong answers? This approach encourages a pro-active way to learn instead of penalising people for incorrect answers and allows them to learn without having to sit through a long presentation more than once - hence me wanting keep this style and be able to get full featured reporting.
I apologise if I'm being a little long-winded in my explanation or indeed if I'm missing something pretty basic with the software.

Do not know if this has anything to do with etiquette, just did not know if you were asking me or the other user more help.
As we both explained: with the Question slides that are in CP (will call them the default Quiz slides) this will not be that easy. You will have to give a lot of attempts for the Quiz to the user to make this possible. There is no way to change the system variables that store the score (such as cpQuizInfoTotalProjectPoints). If you want to realize your workflow you need to construct the Question slides yourself. That is why I offered some articles I published about this subject in CP5.
You are not the first to ask for this kind of workflow, plan to work out an example but that will not be done today because of other priorities (some exams to be graded are waiting for me). The idea in steps is:
Create your question slides using non-interactive objects like text captions, images and interactive ones buttons, text entry or click boxes (that get a score); this will not be possible for all kind of Question types, dragging p.e. as for matching or sequence questions is not possible, hotspot is possible.
Be sure that all slides (to be reviewed before giving a second answer after an incorrect answer) are in the quizzing range (between first scored 'thing' and the score slide)
On incorrect answer, create an advanced action that jumps to the slide(s) to be reviewed; on finishing those slides have an action that returns them to the question slide.
On re-entering the question slide, re-initialize the score (to 0 if there is no 'penalty' because of the review) so that the user can answer again.
Is this the workflow that you want? Which kind of question slides are you using? Is there a 'penalty' if the review possibility is used, I mean is the score that can be obtained lower than the first one?

Prevent slide show image resizing

Is there any way to prevent iweb from resizing images for the slideshow? My images are already resized to the exact size that I want them to be displayed. I don't want the software to mess with them!!!

Pop up a window to show images

Hi, I am trying to show images when the user rolls the mouse
over the image but I want to show them as a pop up window only when
the user is on the image.
Any ideas how can I handle this? I will have variety of
images and want the same behavior for all of them.

I am going to assume you are using Safari here. If so then go to the Apple menu bar and hit Safari-> Preferences. Under the Apperance tab there is a check box that is called "Display images when the page opens". Check if that is unticked.

Iphone 4 will not show up on computer or in itunes. After several attempts to restart, only showing image to connect to itunes. Everything is plugged and it and I have the most up to date version of itunes.

Did you make a backup because you can't recover what's on our phone. Follow these steps to resotre your phone (the phone has to be plugged into your computer):
1) On your phone, press your sleep button for 2 seconds
2) After the two seconds, don't release the sleep and press the home button for 10 seconds
3) Release the sleep button and keep the home buttton pressed untill your computer detects your phone.
4) A window should pop up and you should have the restore button. Press it.

How to show image in oracle adf if i have data in byte[] ?

For first time I am using <af:inputFile> to get file of image type from any location on my system and convert the data in "byte[]" and store it in database...
When i visit page again i need to show uploaded file which is coming to me "byte[ ] ".
To show image i am using <af:image> component.
Help will be appreciated.

Apache: showing images in ascending order by name

The 'send reset info' only shows if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If it's not showing then that implies that you haven't got one on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your security questions - in which case see if the instructions on this user tip helps you get the questions reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

I have images stored in MySQL database. In a blob field. In a desktop application i have used

the thing worked fine. But now i have to show images over web. I am not able to uderstand that how to show images. As i m unable to get Graphics from any of the component.

The common method to include binary information (image, PDF, document, etc) is to Base64 encode the file and store the resulting character string in the XML. It would be up to the receiving system to handle the encoded information in the XML.
