Show length in iTunes music store

Hi
I was wondering why the length of each of my shows in iTunes is not present in the music store.

What is the URL to the raw feed that Feedburner is referencing from?
In the initial feed do you have the iTunes Tag for Show Length?

New episodes not showing up in iTunes Music Store

Hi I'm trying to figure out why new episodes of our podcast don't show up on our iTunes Music Store Page in iTunes.
The last episode listed on the page is from October 29, 2006 even though there are episodes in the feed as recent as April 1, 2007. Once you click "subscribe" and go to the "podcasts" section of iTunes, you can see all the episodes, they just don't show up in the iTunes music store page.

OK, I got it to work by running the feed through
feedvalidator and fixing all the errors. The wierd
thing is that the xml file was created by a program
called RSSBuddy, so it shouldn't have been messed up.
Interesting. I suspect that the XML parser used by the iTunes Store is fussier than the iTunes software itself!
I guess I need to find a new program for editing the
RSS feed. Any recommendations?
If you're on a Mac then Podcast Maker is a great choice. For Windows there's a product made by Feed4All.

I can't find the T.V. Shows in the iTunes Music Store where are they?

I downloaded iTunes 6 because it said they now have tv shows that you can buy for your ipod but when I clicked on the music store in iTunes I could not see any T.V. Shows where are they?

Unfortunately the tv shows part of the itunes store isn't available in some countries. If, like me, you're from outside the US (I'm in Australia) chances are that the itunes tv show store isn't available to you yet.

Adding new podcasts - not showing up in iTunes music store

Is there some sort of manual process that must be undertaken when you add a new podcast to your site, to get it to show up in itms?
I successfully added my podcast series (had two of them ready to go) and submitted to ITMS. They accepted it, and it shows up just fine there. But after adding a third episode last night, it still only shows two episodes this morning.
Is there something more I must do?

New Episodes of my Podcast are not showing up in the iTunes Music Store?

this isn't really an "itunes for mac" question, but since i do my production on a mac, i'll ask it here!
i produce and record a weekly podcast (about 2 hours each week) which has been listed in the iTMS since it started (last february)
this last week we recorded episode 31 and uploaded it to my .mac account, and all went well... the new episode is downloading to anyone who already has subscribed to the rss feed (homepage.mac.com/airplayradio/podcast.xml), but it hasn't shown up in the iTunes Music Store... the software i use to upload the shows generates an automatic ping, and i've done a manual ping a couple of times a day since wednesday, but nothing...
any ideas? absolutely -nothing- (software/hardware/etc.) has changed since i uploaded episode 30 a week ago, and that showed up within an hour...

well, i never got a reply directly to my question, but i was directed by email to post my problem within itunes... go to the podcast page of my podcast and then select "report a concern"... i always thought this was to report offensive podcasts, but if you click on that button you'll see a pull down list with a bunch of problems... i selected "difficulty downloading" and then explained the problem completely... as i said, i never heard back from anyone, but about 4 days later my podcast episode showed up... and this past wednesday we uploaded the latest episode and it showed up in the iTMS almost immediately... go figure?!
if anyone's interested, the podcast name is Schnauzer Logic and its comedy and talk and music and pop culture (i used to be the host of a morning show)... good for a giggle once a week for a couple of hours.

I have a 30 GB ipod and want to download some tv programs onto my ipod. I searched in the itunes music store and registered but I can't find the list of tv shows. Just music and podcasts.

Look under "Inside the Music Store" on the left side of the iTMS homepage. "TV Shows" is at the bottom of that section. Clicking that will take you the TV Shows page on the iTMS.

TV Shows from iTunes Music Store will not sync with my iPod

I have a video iPod (5th Generation). I just downloaded some videos from the iTunes music store and they will not sync with the iPod. I get the message "...some videos cannot be played on this iPod."
The error log says that the videos are not in a supported video format. How can that be? I purchased these from the music store.

Podcast feed not updating correctly in iTunes Music Store

Hi. I doubt anyone is able to help with this question, but this is where Apple "support" directed me...
I've created a podcast feed:

I've registered it with the iTunes Store:

We added a new item to the feed yesterday and it is not appearing in the iTunes Store feed. Subscribing to the feed manually (that is using the feed from our website) works fine, correctly showing the three items. But the iTunes Store feed only shows two items.
I clicked the "Report a concern" link in iTunes but it went 404 (resource not found).
If anyone can shed any light on why this might be happening, and more importantly how I might be able to fix it, that would be much appreciated.

HT203433 I cannot find some of my previous purchased songs on iTunes Music Store? Lost?? Strange!

I have lost many musics in the same album which I had purchased on iTunes Music Store.
I bought an album named "100 Supreme Classical Masterpieces: Rise of the Masters" about a year ago. It is a collection of classical music. It was a 100 piece of music but now I want to re-download it but it only shows me 15 tracks. I've checked it is not hidden. I've tried to search for it in iTunes Music and I found it. It is a 100 track album and it says that you've purchased this but in Purchase section only gives me 15 songs. Please help

I'm having the same problem with iTunes 11. When I purchase songs for the iTunes Store, they don't appear in iTunes for me. They appear immediately on my mobile devices, but in order to get them to appear in iTunes, I have to turn off iTunes Match and then turn it back on, and even then they only appear as being available for download. Oddly enough, if I go into the iTunes Media/Downloads folder, the original downloaded files are there. It's as if they aren't getting fully processed by iTunes and indexed properly after they are downloaded. It's incredibly annoying. I could probably drag those files into iTunes to add them, but I haven't tried that yet. Hopefully Apple will resolve this issue quickly. In the meantime, check your iTunes Media/Downloads folder. The files are probably there.

Videos on itunes music store

hi, i have an acc on itunes music store and i can logg in but i have a small question i'd like to download movies from the store cuz i read tthat that was possible somewhere but i can't find them where can i find the movies in the store?

if you want uk tv shows check out www.uknova.com (you will need to be registered which is free but they only allow so manny members at a time so keep trying if you cant get one straight away)
for american tv and movies check out www.isohunt.com
for both of these sites you download a torrent file which you open in a program called azureus (search for in google download and install)
then once you open the torrent file in azureus you can select where you want to download and away you go
make sure there is at least one seed (the S coll) or it will be unlikely you will get 100% of the download

New podcast page not appearing in iTunes Music Store yet

Our latest addition to the WhiskyCast podcast series, WhiskyCast Virtual Tastings, was added to the iTunes Music Store last weekend. However, it's still not showing up in search results unless one types in the complete name of the show, and then only shows up as a single episode -- not with a page of its own like our other podcasts. I know it takes a day or two for new podcasts to show up in the search results, but without the page, there's no "Report a Concern" link for me to check with the iTMS team on whether there's an issue or not. Should I wait a few more days to see if the problem straightens itself out, or is there someone within Apple that I can reach out to to see whether there's a problem with my feed that's keeping the page from showing up.

The link you give is to the Store page for your podcast - this is what the Search results will link to once they become available. Your page does have the 'Report A Concern' link but I shouldn't bother (iin any case it's really meant for people to complain about content or whatever).
It can take some days for the Search results to show; it's been eight, so it should happen any time now. If you want to contact Support (though I don't think you will find them at all helpful), go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to either 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options, or you may see a link to email them.

Requests for Music NOT available in iTunes Music Store

I was wondering when, if ever, will there be a place within iTunes Music Store to request music by an artist you already have but not their complete catalog. For example, you mention under Frank Sinatra's bio his Reprise years yet have nothing from his Reprise Years even though you still acknowledge that Sinatra Reprise was one of his best selling compilations.
Also certain artists show up under compilations but not themselves. Example - Tim Miner. So my question is - is there a way to request an album or an artist and be alerted as to when they or the specific album has been added?

Podcast not updating on iTunes Music Store but it's ok on Feed

Hi, we've been posting a podcast every two weeks on iTunes Music Store for more than a year, the podcast name is sushi pop. This is the feed that we're using http://feeds.feedburner.com/ColissioncomSushiPop but since almost a month it hasn't been published on iTunes Music Store, anyone could help us with this? Neither the Store nor iTunes when subscribing is showing episodes 25 and 26.
Your earlier episodes each have two 'enclosure' tags: if both contained playable media iTunes would ignore the second (you can't have more than one enclosure per episode). However in each case the first one contains a bit.ly URL which downloads the media file. This is not acceptable to iTunes, which thus defaults to the second enclosure, which does contain a playable URL. (The test is that the URL, when pasted into a browser's address bar, plays the episode in the browser, not downloads it.)
However episodes 25 and 26 have only one enclosure each, containing a bit.ly URL, again downloading the file. Since the episode contains no playable media iTunes does not display it.
You need to stick to one enclosure, containing a direct URL to the media file.

Want to access iTunes music store but not in a 'valid' country

Hi, I'd really appreciate any help anyone can offer. I want to be able to buy music and videos for my new iPod and I have registered online. When I go to buy something with my credit card from the iTunes store, apparently you have to have an address for your credit card and a list of country's excluding Australia comes up. The problem is there is only about a dozen countries on the list and mine is not one of them so I can't pay by credit card. What can I do???

I really wish I was informed when I bought my ipod, that Itunes music store is not available in NZ and we don’t know when or IF it is going to be. Am feeling totally ripped off as one of the reasons I bought my ipod on Sunday was so I could download Audio books off itunes for when I am travelling. Now I go online and find out that I cant even download a measly single let alone a audio book.
Was feeling so excited about having my ipod and now just feel ripped off and extremely disappointed with Apple and the Apple salespeople. You are told how great itunes is and how you can download video, songs, books etc (when you are buying your Ipod) then once you have paid you $579+ (just for the ipod, let alone another $300 on accessories and warranty) you find out you can't download anything from itunes. Am pretty disgusted really! I researched my purchase, was going to go for a CREATIVE merely so could access NZ download sites, but was talked out of it by the sales person who showed me itunes and how great it is and I do think the IPOD itself is fantastic but wish I had of bought that CREATIVE so at least then I could have downloaded songs; books etc immediately. Bad Form from Apple, particularly given the amount of money I just spent :(((
