Show more Google calendars in Calendar app on iPhone

Under one Google username I have several calendars. I have my main one, and several others.
Is there a way to get all events from all calendars to show up on my iphone?
Thanks,
Phil

  • Issues: new events show from google calendar but not the other way round

    Hi,
I've just followed the instructions to the letter on these pages: http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&topic=14252&answer=138740
& http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139206 and looked at the known issues page, but I am still stuck.
Entries in my Google Calendar have now synced in iOS Calendar (and weekcal which I use instead of iOS Cal) - however, none of my existing entries in my iOS Cal have synced with Google Cal.
    Here are the issues:
A recurring event created by someone else and me invited showed in iOS when I set this up
None of my events from iOS show in Google Calendar
New events I create in Google Calendar do not show in iOS
New events I create in iOS don't show in Google Calendar
To test, I deleted the recurring event which was the only one showing on iOS - immediately it was also deleted on iOS which indicates it is set-up to sync betweeb Google and iOS
Cannot find any information on help pages about this.

I'm not sure what else to suggest. As the Nokia 5800 is not natively supported by iSync you must be using an iSync Plugin, so I'd advise contacting the author of the plugin - it may be buggy and need fixing.

  • Google calendar app unable to print on HP6510

Attempting to print using apps direct on HP Photosmart 6510.... google calendar app. My googlemail.com address is successfully selected and I can enter username and password successfully.  It then offers me TODAY or THIS WEEK.  when I choose PREVIEW after waiting for HP "connecting to the internet" it takes too long and times out to energy save abandonding the app.  When I choose PRINT instead I get an immediate Server Connection Error: -95 "There was a problem connecting to the Server.  Touch Retry to connect again, or OK to Exit".  Retry provides the same immediate error message over again?
Thanks for any help on this.

  • Removing Google Calendar app

Hi - I downloaded the Google Calendar app for my iPod touch but I've decided I don't want it. Trouble is, I can't seem to remove it via iTunes. There's no box to uncheck when synching and no 'X' appears when i run the cursor over the app icon. I've also dragged the icon into the Trash, but it just reappears when synching. Any ideas, anyone?

Why yes, that worked! Simple as that, huh? Thanks!
How come some apps can't be removed (no 'X' appears above them when they 'jiggle')? Stocks, Notes etc... not particularly useful to me...
The built in apps (Notes, Stocks, Mail etc) are the only apps which cannot be removed, this is Apples current decision with those apps.

  • In repeating events , in the calendar app of Iphone or Ipad,

In repeating events , in the calendar app of Iphone or Ipad, How can I stipulate for egsample: "every second tuesday of the month " or even every last monday of every second month..
These selections work in the Google Calendar. but I cannot find the way to do it in the standard ipad or iphone calendar
all I can find to select are "Monthly , weekly , . I want to be able to select "day of the week " or "day of the month" Thanks ,
    Victor

The iPhone/iPad version of iCal doesn't have this option, but the Mac desktop version does (assuming you use a Mac). Follow the directions below and then sync your device with your Mac and the repeating event will appear in your mobile device.
Open iCal on the desktop. Make a new event. Double click on the event and then click "edit." Change the repeat option to "Custom..." Select frequency as "monthly." Click the bottom radio button that says "on the" to enable you to set which day to repeat on. Close the event info window and then sync your device.
I hope they enable this option in the mobile software soon. It is a glaring omission for a calendar program.
P.S., sorry, I just noticed you didn't include a Mac in your hardware list. I don't know how you'd accomplish this with Windows. Maybe this post will help someone else, though.

  • Problems syncing new google calendar delegates to iPhone 3

I got a iPhone 3 a few months ago and had no problem setting up calendar so that all of my google calendar delegates are visible in both iCal and on my iPhone. I haven't had any problems with getting events to update on all of my calendars regardless of which program I use to create/ edit the event, until now. I recently created a new google calendar delegate. I can access the delegate in both iCal and on google but for some reason I can't get the new delegate to sync to my iPhone. I've tried to edit the settings in all of the programs, i've edited events on the new calendar on google on my iPhone, on my computer and on iCal but I still can't get it to show up in calendar on my iPhone. Any suggestions on fixing this problem?

I didn't know it was possible. How do I find an option to subscribe to a new calendar from within the iPhone? I've always subscribed via synching.

  • Using Google Calendar with my Iphone.

I use Google Calendar with my Iphone. When I delete a recurring event it gets deleted from Google Calendar but not from my Iphone.

Try: Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Select your Gmail Account>Change the Calendar tab from "on" to "off".  It will alert you that your calendar account will be deleted.  That's ok.  Delete the Calendar account. Wait about ten seconds and then turn the Calendar tab back "on". See if doing this fixes things.

  • Google calendar "app"

The google "app" calendar was accidentally, deleted from my iPhone in trying to get it to show my and my wife's calendar.  Now the only way I can get into that calendar is through the Google app.  How can I get the calendar "app" back on my phone?

If you're referring to the iPhone's built in Calendar app, you can't delete it.
If you're referring to a separate calendar app from Google, then just re-download it.

  • Google calendar app error -95 when attempting to print. help!!

So i have the HP 5510 e All in One and i am running Vista Home Basic.
I have added both the Google Calendar and Daily Brief apps with a view to printing my Google Calendar. Neither will work. Google Calendar lets me log in, select which Calendar i want to view / print (So it must be connecting to my Google Calendar to know which Calendars i have, right?) but when i attempt to print i get connection error -95.
THe Daily Brief app just states it was unable to print without displaying an error code.
I have removed and readded the apps, removed webservices from the printer and then readded them, all to no avail!!!
Other Apps suchas the Disney Work fine
    Help!!

@PrintApper -- Can you advise how to raise official bug reports against these print apps?  Waiting 5 months for a response via this forum is not the sort of customer experience that I expect from HP.
I have the HP Photosmart 5515 and use a google apps login, rather than bog standard gmail...
     Cheers
You can contact support directly by going to the HP ePrintCenter and logging in and using the support contact options there to get in touch w/our support agents.
So far this looks like it may be a printer-specific issue...other ePrint printers appear to be using GCalendar w/out this problem.  We are investigating to get root cause and I'll share more information when it is available.   Sorry for the wait...

  • Gmail calendar items are not showing up in calendar app

I've synced my Gmail account and calendar but only items saved to phone calendar is showing up, All my Gmail calendar items aren't there.
I seem to have synced everything I need to sync but still nothing shows up. Help!

I'm having the same issue on my Fascinate.  It started Friday (5/20/11) with most of the items on my Google calendar not showing up on my phone.  Some items are still there (although none from my primary calendar).  I created a new item on Google, and it did show up on the phone.  I had the Froyo update pushed out to me on Saturday morning, but doesn't seem to have made any difference  - good or bad.  I've checked all the account settings, sync on, etc. and everything looks OK.  I can do a manual sync, but that doesn't make things show up either.
Finally, my mother-in-law has the same phone, and is having the exact same problem starting this weekend as well.  She hasn't gotten the Froyo update - so I don't think that is it.

  • Facebook events not showing up in calendar app

    Hi
I can see the events I've joined on facebook showing up on the calender app on my iphone (ios6) but can't see them on the ML (10.8.2) calendar app. my facebook account is linked with both machine. what do I miss?
    thanks in advance:)

Hello, I have had the same issue, the Facebook intergration with ioOS displays all the facebook events in the calendar - which can be a real pain if you have lots of events.
I have not found any option in iOS6 to filter by accepted events or to hide declined events. This is something Apple should really work on - sounds to me like they just bundled this into iOS6 without consideration for accepted or declined events.
So the workaround which I have found is to stop the facebook calendar in iOS6 (Settings/Facebook) and instead to subscribe to Facebook events and/or birthdays via the site straight into iCal. What is in your iCal will appear on all your devices so there you go. Make sure in FB to state that you don't want al events to be displayed. Then you'll be fine.
Use this link if you want http://www.wikihow.com/Sync-Facebook-Events-to-iCal
Make sure to go to the settings option on FB page to select which events you want displayed.
It lacks the neat little FB icon that would appear via the iOS intergration but lets hope Apple sorts this out quickly and that we'll be able to chose which events to display, accepted or rejected etc....
    Hope this helps,

  • When using Panorama, everytime I create a New Group, I am redirected to the Google Calendar App that I created. Tab groups are not being remembered. Any workaround?

I am trying to use Panorama for the first time. I can successfully create a tab group, but Firefox does not remember it. When I view a new web page and try to use "add to group" I am redirected to the app tab I created for Google Calendar. I am using Windows 7 64x with Firefox as my default browser.
Are there any know issues with the apps tap and Panorama?

I have a somewhat related problem running FF7 on WinXP32, specifically concerning your ''I can successfully create a tab group, but Firefox does not remember it.''
When I reopen FF, I find FF
    * ''sometimes'' does not remember all tab groups.
    * ''often'' seems to move at least 1 tab from one group to another.
    ''kursiver Text''
I am new to using this tab grouping feature, and I have not identified a specific and consistent misbehavior yet.

  • Google calendar in ical iPhone

So I made a google calendar with my work email. I have it synced with my mac but I can't get it to show up on my iphone.
In Ical on my mac, I added the calendar in preferences but on my phone it won't accept a non-google email.
I am hoping i am missing something simple.
    thoughts?

Peter, what did you finally do? I have similar issue trying to solve. I have Google Apps for work, Google Apps personal along with iphone, Mac Address book. I appreciated your outline of options and what they do.
Did you decide on an approach that works?

  • HT4528 Calendar app on iPhone 4S

Hi all! I seem to be having a problem with the calendar app. I set up an event but when I add a reminder for 2 days and another for 2 hours then I confirm it, it switches back . When I change it back and confirm it, it just goes back. Help! Anyone else experiencing this?!?!

It sounds like you are using iCloud to sync your calendar... it should actually show the name of the account, not simply "work" or "home".
Maybe you're not syncing your calendar with any account, which could explain why the invites are not being sent.
With my Gmail calendar, I tried the following:
I just created a test event on my device and sent an invite, it was never sent.
I created a test event via my Gmail Calendar web interface and sent an invite, it was sent.
This may be an iOS issue, it may be a Gmail/Google Calendar issue.
With my iCloud calendar, I tried the following:
I just created a test event on my device and sent an invite, it was never sent.  Going back into the event does not show the invitees there.
I created a test event via my iCloud web interface and sent an invite, it was sent.
Seems there may be an issue in iOS
    I'm still running iOS 5.1.1

  • Why am I getting double popup alerts for Google Calendar events on iPhone?

This is happening on both mine and my wife's iPhones (mine is a 4 and hers is a 3GS) which are both on the latest iOS (6.0.1).  This is what I've figured out:
On iPhones: Default is to set no alerts/reminder for calendar events
On Google Calendar: Default is to set a popup alert 1 hour before event & email 1 hour before event
When I create a new event on my iPhone: It saves with no alerts set, then after uploading to google calendar it shows as having two alerts 1 hour before the event.  If I go into Google Calendar, it shows that 1 popup and 1 email are each set for 1 hour before the event.
When I create a new event on in Google Calendar: It saves with 1 popup and 1 email are each set for 1 hour before the event per the default settings.  If I go to my iPhone, it shows that I have 2 alerts, both for 1 hour before the event.
So it seems that the iPhone is seeing both the popup and email alerts and creating two popup alerts on my phone!
Is there anyway to fix this?  I've tried setting up the calendar on my iPhone through Gmail account, Exchange account and CalDav account and it's all the same.

I figured it out.  It has to do with which calendars you want displayed.  Duplications come from multiple calender selections.
