Show Time Received at top of Inbox: how?

Is is possible to show the TIME an email was received in a column within the InBox? Right-clicking on the header bar does not show this as an option, yet the time is visible once one opens an individual email.
Any ideas/suggestions?

If you widen (drag to the right) the Date Received column it will also show the time.

In Lion Mail, in the new display format, messages received yesterday all show the time received as just "Yesterday", without any time.
Is there any way to get it to show the actual time? Or just to turn off the relative dates and show real dates?

I realize I can get the time to show if I revert to the "classic" view in columns, but I like the new format, except for that blasted "yesterday".

Lead time for Verizon's trade-in promotion - how long before my phones show as received?

I ordered 3 new iPhones (2 iPhone 6's for my daughters and 1 iPhone 6 plus for myself). I ordered the new phones thru apple.com. I mailed the first iPhone 4 in as a trade in on October 7th in the provided envelope for the first iPhone 6 activated on my account. After mailing it, I was worried due all the problems that I have read that others have had. So, I called the corporate store near my home and asked if I could bring the remaining trade-ins into the store. I was told that since I initiated them on-line that I was not able to do the trade in at the store. So I, very nervously, mailed the second iPhone 4 as a trade-in. Prior to mailing, I asked at the post office if I could pay for insurance/tracking on the package. But, I was told no because it was a prepaid envelope. So, now I have the second trade-in mailed on 10/14. Both, still show as "not received" at Verizon. This is such a nerve wrecking experience! I am counting on getting the promised Verizon gift card for each of my trade-ins. Up until this endeavor, all of my dealings with Verizon have been very pleasant and handled with the utmost professionalism. There is not any communication that tells me how long it is currently taking to receive the trade-ins and log into the system so that they show as "received". I have called the 877-number given for the device recycling team to only get a busy signal. I have not gotten any additional emails other than the very first one that said the packing materials were on the way. I have one more phone that needs to be traded in. My iPhone 6 plus will be delivered tomorrow. I am not real comfortable with this process. I have sent emails asking for this information but I have not gotten a response as of yet. If anyone can share how long it took for their phones to be received or, if a Verizon representative can respond, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I followed the directions that said to use the
brown envelope provided and to take to the USPS. The USPS would not allow
me to purchase insurance or tracking for the package. The instructions say
that not using the brown envelope to return the phone will negatively
impact value. Are you saying that I could place the brown envelope inside
another USPS envelope and pay for shipping, tracking and insurance and it
would not negatively affect the trade in value?

New to FiOS - Set Top Box isn't showing time of day

I just had FiOS installed on multiple TV's HD and non-HD. All the set-top boxes don't show a time of day except the HD DVR. Is there a way to set the others up to show the time of day? If so, how?

The new HD STB's do no have a display at all. cannot get a clock on the QIP7100-2 STB's

Interestingly, in my experience, using the method described above of unchecking the "Show Connected Servers" box in the Finder Preferences makes no difference in what I can put in the sidebar. I was able to move a sub-folder of a shared disk to the Favorites section of the Finder Sidebar, but nothing else. (i.e. I could not add the shard disk itself to the sidebar – either to the devices, favorites, or any other section, and I could only add a subfolder of the shared disk to the favorites section – not to the devices section or any other section). This was the same whether I had "Show Connected Servers" checked or not.
I'm running OS X Mavericks, and the setup I have is with a previous generation Time Capsule (i.e. the short, square kind that you could buy before the most recent taller variety came out last year), with a LaCie 3 TB USB 3.0 external drive plugged into the USB port of the Time Capsule. I'm then accessing this network drive over WiFi. The differences in what I'm seeing may be due to some change they made in the way Mavericks handles these setups.
I could also just be misunderstanding what you're saying, but I thought I'd add this in case anyone else gets similar results so that they'd know they're not alone. Let me know if I'm missing something here.

Inbox time received doesn't reflect Daylight Savings - Timestamp Correct

The inbox list view in Mail of From, Subject, Date and Time Received does not reflect the correct time. The email itself in the header has the correct time received however the list view is an hour ahead. Considering the last time change was springing forward this is all the more strange as I would understand an hour behind...
How do I fix this?

I have the same problem.
I have an iPhone 5 and an iPad 2.
On the iPhone, the red line on the day mode in calendar says the correct time BUT the line itself is exactly one hour behind. Both in vertical and landscape mode when you look at the week.
On the iPad the line is off by an hour in both the day mode and week view.
I tested setting an alarm to see when it actually goes off in calendar mode. It went off at the time it was supposed to, but the line was still an hour behind.
Both are running iOS 7.0.6.

Yes to receive an iMessage the recipient would need an iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and an internet connection. This is a messaging serviceprovided by Apple so the recipient does not need to check emails. If the contact does not have internet access at the time the iMessage is sent then a normal SMS through your carrier can be sent instead if you have "Send as SMS" turned on in Settings>Messages.

My Nokia 6500 slide shows texts have been received an hour earlier than they have i.e. the time on my phone is for instance 10:00am and a text is sent at that time the phone says it was received at 9:00am. How can I fix this.

Yes it does do it with all the texts I receive. I'm in the U.K. This phone has never been taken abroad yet.
My husband has the same phone and I sent a message to his today and the right time came up. I also checked his settings and they are the same as mine.
The odd thing is if I send a message to T Mobile to ask for my balance the text comes back with the right time on it!

If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account.

I had a similar occurrence with my just activated iPhone 4.
I had been using the phone for three days when an odd occurrence with voice mail caused me to call tech support. After some discussion they decided to push the activation to my phone (even though I had been using it for three days). When I went to power it back up again I repeatedly got the "no service" notification. I got tech support on a land line and we tried hard reboots and so on. No joy. They told me to take it in to the point of sale and either the SIM card or the phone needed (or both) needed replacing.
I tried one last hard reboot after dinner and the phone came up with service, but I took it in to the point of sale in the morning and they swapped the SIM card out and I went to a Genius Bar appointment to get the phone checked out. It is supposedly OK, but I am still having some problems when syncing it so I will have to visit the Genius Bar again tomorrow about that. At least I have not experienced the "no service" problem in the roughly 24 hours since the SIM card was replaced. (Fingers crossed)

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

My understanding is that music syncing is a one way process from computer iTunes to your iPhone. I think what you are asking is to have IOS synching back to an OSX or PC system. The software doesn't work that way.
You either have to uncheck the songs to be synced or create a separate playlist for "BC Canada iPhone" and only sync that playlist.
As well any purchases you made on your iPhone need to be transferred to your iTunes so they can come back to your phone when you re-sync.

You are welcome. I'm glad you got it back up.
(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first.
