As im using nokia c2 02 nd when i try 2 go 2 nokia browser it has been saying dat conflicting app show items so wats wrong is dat?

Check for software update using Nokia suite.
You can also download Opera mini and UC browser from Nokia store.

Conflicting applications

i tried to upgrade my nokia asha 200 it is now showing conflicting application show items please advice on how to restore it. Thanks. My nasiru musa.

You can try reinstalling the phone firmware. A short guide to phone update -
Connect your phone to a computer & select Nokia Suite mode. If you do not have Nokia Suite on your pc you can download it from here. Now open the Nokia Suite & click on the “green icon of arrow pointing downwards”.
If any updates are available they will be shown in ‘green’. If not you may reinstall the current version. Reinstall option is shown in ‘blue’. If no option to reinstall is shown, please wait for sometime it will become visible. Then the Nokia Suite will download the new software version of the phone. After it you will be prompted to take a complete back up of the device content. Please do not skip this step as reinstallation will erase all the personal data from the phone like contacts, messages, calendar entries etc.
Please note that if you have set a memory card password & you have forgotten its code then take a backup of the card data also as the card will be locked after update and can only be unlocked if you enter the correct code or by ways mentioned in this thread.
Also note that while updating the device ensure the following things-
The device is full charged.
The internet connection Is of good speed & has a backup in case of power loss.
The PC should also be connected to back up power source as if the process is interrupted the phone may go dead. More on update failure & its remedies here.
Please do not run any resource intensive programs in the background while updating as it may freeze the PC which in turn will lead to a dead device.
Ignore all the windows pop-up notifications about device being disconnected.DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PHONE UNTIL UPDATE IS COMPLETED.
It will be better if you disable security keyguard & PIN code request before proceeding with Update/Reinstallation.
Sometimes the device may show Test Mode. Do not panic & DO NOT remove the cable. Let the process complete.

If problem persists, please visit the nearest authorised Nokia Care Centre as they update the phone by different method.

Welcome to the forum!
Do you only get the error upon opening specific apps, or with all apps installed on your Nokia X2-02? What fixes have you tried so far? Have you tried doing the troubleshooting steps given on the previous post?
If the error occurs when launching downloaded apps, try removing and reinstalling those apps from the Store. To remove downloaded apps, just go to Apps / Extras > My apps > Highlight the app that you're having issues with > Options > Delete. After that, go to Store > My Stuff to redownload the apps.
If the issue happens with preloaded apps, try to check if the phone's software is updated using Nokia Suite. Check this link for the steps: Nokia X2-02 software update and downloads If there's no update available, look for the 'Reinstall' option in Nokia Suite > SW Updates > Device Software Updates.

NOKIA ASHA 200 Conflicting Appliction Issue (Nokia...

Hi Nokia,
when i updated the Nokia Browser on my phone Nokia Asha 200, after successfull updatation, it is showing Conflicting application error and i can not access Nokia Browser.
I have tried soft and hard reset both, but the problem remains.
The software version in my phone is V 11.81
Please help!
(This being a common problem in this phone, there has been no help or update provided by Nokia yet, its very sad )
This problem also arrised when i installed a game from nokia store, but then i deleted and re-installed the game. But as we all know we cannot delete nokia browser and reinstall it from Nokia Store.

We are working on having a solution for this (fairly common) problem, that the Nokia browser may break after the over-the-air browser update.
In the meantime the only solution are to take the phone to a Nokia Care service point for reflashing or to use e.g. Opera Mini instead.

Phn restart due to conflict application

I was trying to install indisms(http://indisms.in).For the first time it worked well.But after that when I try to open it,it shows
"conflicting application,show items?"
when I select yes the phone screen fluctuates and the phone restarts.Then I deleted the application,restart phn and try to reinstall.But this time before the download start,the same error apears.I tried to install after a complete factory restore but in vain.Is there any way to make the application work?
I am using 6303c,
firmware v 10.12

my nokia 5233 not showing installed application in installed application folder. i have opened through menu>applications>installed application. but its not showing installed files... Kindly help me.....

I think..it will inform you that the Applications Manager memory is full..
.....so, either un-install some applications or close a few programms that are running in the background..

Conflicting Application after Software Update

Hey guys, I have downloaded picasa on my nokia 303 through Nokia store and while i was checking this app , suddenly a window pop up asking to update the software. When i update it ; my nokia browser is showing 'conflicting app'.when i click on it ,it shows nokia xpress. I have restore setting and hard restore , but nothing happens. Help me . . . ! !

The most resent Firefox update has a conflicting application with adobe and all pdf files have to open firefox before opening

My issue started with downloading the most current Firefox. Firefox opens multiple empty tabs (20 -30 or more) every time I use adobe reader. I changed the action for a content type to show adobe reader. It was showing open the file in adobe in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice and this did not work. I uninstalled Adobe Reader and Air but could not uninstall Adobe Flash Player because of a conflicting Application with Firefox. I then uninstalled Firefox and was able to uninstall Adobe Flash Player. I reinstalled Adobe Reader only and then Firefox. I no longer have multiple empty tabs opening up but each time I open a pdf file, Firefox has to open as well. I am operating on Windows 7 Home edition. Can some one help this is a nuisance.

Try to rename (or delete) the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.

You can check the value of the plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types pref on the about:config page and remove the application/pdf part if present or reset the pref to the default via the right-click context menu if you want to display PDF documents in Firefox with another application (i.e. not the built-in PDF Viewer).

what you are telling i think is too much. I've read your requests and believe me some of them is out of context. One example is listening to radio while being on a call. Who would like to have such options?? It's ridiculous.
But But it doesn't mean all of them are ridiculous! Just like the #1 concerning music, #4 concerning the camera and #5 concerning the volume, I strongly agree with you as it makes sense!
So if I was to write to nokia, which I will do in the coming days is to write them again:
Points #1,4,5,9,11,14,15,24! These are strong points!
People out there, if you want the changes I specified to be done by nokia, you should write them the same points. If only one or two write, it's useless, they won't take it as a priority.
Of course, don't copy paste or they will think the same person is spamming them. I hope it's clear. Write in your own words. Don't think changes will be done by magic or by doing nothing with arms folded. You should do a move.
