Showing crop lines on a printed or saved image

Is it possible to either print or save an image that shows the crop lines from Lightroom (i.e. shows what is both in AND out of the image as it is cropped).  I'm working off a scanned negative and I want to show my printer just how to crop the image.  She was hoping to see both what's inside and outside the crop?  Possible to get that to her either by printing that from my computer or emailing it to her?

you can also edit in photoshop save with crop marks there, then email that:

  • How to: all the cell content to show up when printing (or saving to PDF)

    Hello, everyone!
On my website, I export data to a "CSV" file, but all it does is come up with all the data like this:
    "AAAAA" , "BBBBB" , "CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC" , " "2010-02-01 07:39:13" , "DDDDDDD"
What I do is select all, and save it into a .csv file, which is fine.
However, how do I get Numbers to open this .csv file and ORGANIZE it so that when I go to print it and open in Preview, all of the info actually shows up??
For example, the field "CCCCCCCCC" is for comments, thus can be long. When I open the file on Preview, not all of it shows up. It shows maybe a first line, and the rest is 'hidden'. So, I need numbers to automatically adjust the size of the cells according to the size of the content, so that all the info shows for when I go print it (or even save it as PDF).
I need this file in print.
    How do I organize/fix this??
(I'm obviously not very versed in Numbers or Excel)
Thanks so much for your help!

Two ways I can think of:
Select the column (click on the column letter). Up on the toolbar click the "wrap" checkbox. After doing that and while the column is still selected, increase the width of the column to your liking.
Or select the column then go to the Table Inspector and where it says "column width", click on "fit". This probably is not what you want because it will expand the column so all text fits on one line.
One other thing you may also want to do is go to Print View and reduce the size of the contents (i.e., your table) so it fits on one page or at least to the width of a page.

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

  • Pusrchase order having 3 line item But print preview in PDF shows blank.

    Hi All,
Purchase order has 3 line items. While taking print preview in PDF format 1st page shows 1 line item and 2nd page is blank.
I am not understanding the issue why other two line items are not getting displayed.?
Please provide me with the solution.
    Thanks

Yes,there is a issue in print preview itself , if there is a issue in Print Prview that means page is gets skipped on next page ,therefore 2nd page automatically gets blank ,debug the same with abapor ,if this problem gets resolved then automatically system will convert the document in PDF as per print preview.

Just go back in photoshop and use the Slice Select tool, then just click and select the slice and hit delete - if you're not sure which one is the active slice just right click and find the one that has the Delete Slice option.
It's possible you either added the slices by accident or if you received it from someone they just had the slices hidden. For the future, you can go to View > Show > Slices to display (or hide) slices.

  • My mouse scrolls shows each line moving up instead of moving one line at a time annoying

Since downloading firefox 3.6 when I scroll down a page it shows each line moving up instead of just moving one line up its very annoying

It could be that there is not enough memory in the printer or the print server to hold the entire document while printing. The printer gets Postscript files, which are larger than the original document. Also, if you are doing multiple copies, if you collate the pages, that takes more memory than printing each page multiple times.

  • Crop marks won't print

I’ve only run into this with one client. He sends me individual epses, each one a business card to print. When I open them in Illustrator it looks like there are crop marks and bleed, when I place in InDesign, as I always do, to set 8 up on a page the bleed won’t print and the crop marks won’t print.  I can enlarge the object box and see the bleed and crop marks but they still wont print. If I print directly from Illustrator just to test it, it will print the bleed but still no crop marks. This is all in CS3 but was the same when I had CS2.

I always prefer to use trim marks (crop marks as opposed to crop area) and fit the artboard to them.
I'm with you, Steve. I did it that way for years mainly because it left no room for ambiguity (and because that's what made sense to those of us who used to paste layout elements down on artboards with rubber cement).
Unfortunately, over the last few versions, Adobe seems to have been changing the paradigm on us. I've seen an attempt to bring Illustrator in line with the DTP way of doing things -- Quark, Pagemaker, and InDesign have always equated artboard size with document trim size. The change in Illustrator terminology (no more reference to "trim marks"), I think, was the first clue that this was happening.
In th U.S., more and more magazines (even as their numbers dwindle) are now accepting print ad layouts done in Illustrator (whereas they used to insist they be done exclusively in QuarkXpress). Those that do, however, are insisting that the document (artboard) size correspond to their trim size.
OK, fine. But I don't have to like it.

  • Working with bleeds and crop lines

I have a document in Indesign that is 7" x 7". One one page of this document I have an image that is 8 x 8. Therefore, it is a full four-sided bleed.
I want to be able to print or PDF this document so that the crop lines appear and the full 8 x 8 image appears (or at least, an image larger than the page size). This way it would be easy to cut out the image using a blade without white space peeking out.
Can this be done in Indesign? If so, how would I go about doing it?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how to use the bleed, slug and crop features.
I would have thought I could specify a page be 7 x 7 and have crop marks that are 7 x 7. And then I could set the bleed marks to be 0.5 inches out each way resulting in a bleed.
But if this is the case, I am doing something wrong. Because changing the bleed seems to do the opposite. Obviously, I'm confused here about how this works. Any ideas?

  • T's L's and I's move up a line when I print

Why do all of the T's L's and I's move up a line when I print?

Often just drying it out provides no resolution to existent problems, and only may serve to stave off additional damage.
Th impurities in the water can conduct electricity, causing a short, which can be permanent. As well, and residual misture can contribute to corrosion, which will cause additonal shorts and open circuits, than can quickly escalate to total system failure.
If there is any chance of saving your system, it will be necessary to act quickly. Do not try to dry the unit through traditonal drying methods. An electronic device will absolutely require disassembly. Be prepared to find the cost to repair can easily exceed the current value of the device.
I advise you to immediately back-up your system, and render the unit for diagnosis and repair. Or you can try drying and hope and wait.

  • Set The Secured Files, Not allow printing and saving to another location

    Dear Sir / Madam,
    Please help...
Possible to set the security permission for share files, not allow end users to printing and saving a PDF to another location.
    Thanks,
    Alex Tai

    Hi Alex,
Possible to set the security permission for share files, not allow end users to printing and saving a PDF to another location.
Based on my tests, users can save the document with only Read permission, which is by design. If you don’t want users to print files, please do not give the print permissions on printers.
    Best Regards,
    Amy
