Hi, my name is varun, I bought my laptop (G6 pavilion 2320tx) one and a half year ago with inbuild windows 8 in it, 2 weeks earlier i refreshed my laptop. Now its showing "Activate Windows, This product key doesnt work". What should I do......

My Microsoft home and student 2010 key isn't working. I am entering the key that was printed off the internet from Microsoft when I purchased it off the Microsoft website. I also had to restart my computer, when I went to the Microsoft website to download

Just to let you know, your solution worked... My SQL Developer got into a state again where the backspace key stopped working... doing 'load preset, default' on the accelerators did fix it. Strange, because I don't use/configure the accelerators at all. Thanks for that, and hopefully this will be permanently fixed in the next version.
To echo what I think someone else was trying to say... I also have the issue that sql developer will 'lock up' or get bogged down sometimes, when i'm just typing away in the worksheet. Any keystrokes I entered in though will always get entered into the worksheet, once sqldeveloper 'unfreezes' itself. Of course, this issue is an annoyance factor only (little bit of impact on productivity though), but hopefully it gets fixed as well.

Product Key Not Working in Unattend

We cannot get our product key to work in our unattend file. Below is the unattend file (the product key portion). Anyone notice anything wrong, or have any suggestions? I have also tried adding the product key into the custom.ini settings and that didn't
work either. I know the product key works and I have double check to make sure I didn't fat finger anything. We are imaging Windows 7 Professional Computers using a Windows Server 2012 WDS/MDT server.

ONe of the steps in your task sequence returned an error.
THe step was *not* marked as "continue on error", so the task sequence halted (red screen).
The log shows:

Exit code 2147810867 is simply negative 1, nothing exciting.
Something is wrong with the call to the slmgr.vbs script, it would be great if we had the output to that program, for example:
cmd.exe /c "cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs /ato > %temp%\slmgr.log"
So we can look at the reasons why the command failed afterwards

My enter key doesnt work

heyy!! my issue is abit different. Before I used to hold alt down and use the character that i needed. Now i have to let go of the key and type. Its very annoying. I have tried wipe and master reboot!! Nothing works.. Just plugged my wired keyboard in and it works. very strange, seems very unlikely that the only broken key is the enter key mhm. expect the unexpected. will contact the apple support on monday cause i live in germany and they dont work 24/7

So I have a MacBook Pro and I bought Office Mac 2011.
I got it around 2 years ago and I installed Word, Excel, and Power Point with no problems... I didn't install
Outlook at the time because I didn't think I would need to use it. Now I want to
install it and the software is rejecting my Product Key. So I came to the website and typed my Product ID and same thing, it says not working.
I don't know what to do to fix the problem!

Hey, My E71 E-mail shortcut key thing doesnt work (you know the big one with the letter on it) when i press it, it just like tries to open but doesnt and just flashes. Also when i go through menu>communication>messaging it doesnt open like that either! Please can someone help as this is a realllll paaiinnnn!!!!!

Try this. Turn your iPad Off. Then disconnect the power going to the router for 30 seconds or longer. Then replug the power to the router (allow it to initialize) and turn On the iPad. Hopefully everything will connect. If not, see below.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

First of all, what kind of keyboard are you using? Specifically, is it Apple or some other form of USB thing?
Secondly, is the language set up correctly for it? Check by going to System Preferences —> International and clicking on the Input Methods tab. Make sure only those flags for the language layouts you use are checked, but if you only use one, add another as well. While you're at it, check the Keyboard Viewer box too.
You should now see a little flag among the menulets in the top right hand corner of your screen. Click on the Show Keyboard Viewer command under the flag, and you'll see what the Mac thinks is happening when you press keys. Try changing language by clicking on a different flag and seeing if the layout changes properly.
Finally, are you sure you haven't got the Num Lock on?

Windows 7 Product key Not working, Cannot download iso

First sorry if this post to to simar to the other windows 7 product key one but the soultion dosnt work anymore.
My hdd in my y580 started to give me the tick of death so i brought a new ssd to replace it and backed up my files to my external. i was going to make a bootable copy of windows 7 on my usb so i could install it on the ssd and this is were i ran into issue.
All offical download links now lead to a dead page that redirects you to a new windows download form where you are required to put in your product key before you can download. i put in my product key from the sticker on the back but it just returns with this "http://prntscr.com/62eyxp"
So even if i am able to get a copy of windows 7 will my cdkey work at all? and how can i get a copy when it keep giving me the message.

First I am not a Microsoft employee, but I am a Microsoft MVP. As such I have to stick with the position Microsoft takes on downloading ISO files. They have given some users a way to redownload the ISO file. The other ways that are posted on the web Microsoft says that the official resellers (Digital River) downloads are for those who purchase the Windows OS thru the reseller's website. Anyone else that wants to download from there is not authorized to have such a downloaded file. All other sources of those file (other than the Microsoft site or the resellers site) are not legitimate sources of the file and can be infected.
This leaves users who purchased a computer from an OEM with no viable download source. While my personal opinions may differ from the official Microsoft position, I cannot really express them. But you may want to check out the DMCA Title III. Of course this only matters if you are in the US. If you are not, I have no idea what laws would apply.
While the downloaded ISO will not work with the key that you have from an OEM, if it is a real ISO from Microsoft and has not been altered in anyway and is a complete download, you can use it for repairs. Which is what almost everyone I deal with needs it for, repairs not reinstall. To be honest I hate telling someone to wipe their harddrive and reinstall windows.
I do believe that ALL OEM's are now charging for a copy of the factory image that is originally on the harddrive. But they cannot be used for repair in the manner that the Windows install disc can be.
What you do with all this information is entirely up to you. I hope it helps.
