Showing the script menu

How do i activate the script menu in itunes. So i can see my scripts onscreen within itunes. Sinc I can't see them right now, i assume it means i do not have my itunes scripts assigned to itunes. but my finder script menu shows lots of itunes scripts in it. It also shows lots of safari scripts, although i can't see those inside Safari either. This has to be easy, but applehelp offers not help.

Scripts for iTunes must be placed in specific locations to automatically appear in the Scripts menu:
HD/Library/iTunes/Scripts (accessible by every account)
or
HD/Users/Username/Library/iTunes/Scripts (account specific)
When you've never used scripts this way, the Scripts folder inside the iTunes folder does not exist, so you have to create it.

Cleaning the Script Menu in Photoshop

Is there a way to clean the script menu in Photoshop? I'm launching most of my scripts from shortcuts on my Wacom Tablet and from Windows Explorer, and everytime I do one of those two options, since I'm not launching the script from the script menu, it adds a copy of the script name to the menu, thinking it's a new script. Is there a way to clean that menu, to tell it to show only the scripts in the scripts file and not every single script I launch from Windows Explorer or shortcuts?
Because now I can't use the script menu anymore because there are too many things. Every script is the at least 10 times and the list is now twice as long as my screen.

Scripts edited in ESTK and run with ESTK as the target app stay in ESTK until
you restart ESTK. The JS interpreter is ESTK is persistent across script
invocations. Bridge operates the same way, unless you #target different
interpreters.
In PS, if you have a script in Presets/Scripts and start PS, it will stay in the
File->Scripts menu until you restart PS. It will stay in the menu even if you
delete the file from disk but will not execute if it is selected. The JS
interpreter is PS recreated for each new script invocation.
On situation in which two scripts with the same name can occur in the Script
menu is if you have two scripts with the same name in two different folders
under the Presets/Scripts folder.
One other possibility (that I haven't verified) in CS3 is if you have one script
in app.path + '/Presets/Scripts' (the 'normal' scripts folder) and another in
Folder.userData + '/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Presets/Scripts'. This Presets
folder is where user-specific mods to Presets tree should be located. I have
scripts that have to run as far back as CS so I haven't had to worry about this yet.

Show the boot menu on every boot?

Hi there, i'm wondering if there is a application or method to show the boot menu on every boot instead of having to hold down the the option key?

Not really although there is a menubar application called QuickBoot you might look at - VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

TS3798 My Apple TV Does NOT show the Internet menu option. Has all the other options but the Internet. I am connected to the Internet as I can Rent, Buy ,etc..movies from the Apple Store...

I have a first Genreation iPAD and just a new Apple TV, 3rd Generation. The Apple TV does not show the Internet menu option after booting up.

There isn't one.
AppleTV3 has icons for all the internet features.

Any way to write code to cache the contents of the scripts menu? (or force ScriptsMenu plugin start)

Basically, you can create actions with keyboard shortcuts to execute custom javascript/vbscript, etc. and successfully reload them after restarting Illustrator but only if the user manually navigates to File->Scripts before manually loading an actions (.aia) file
Any script menu items added to actions will be stripped from the custom actions when Illustrator is restarted because, I believe, the script menu items are not cached and are therefore invalid when the actions are automatically reloaded.
Obviously, I'd prefer not requiring the user to navigate to the scripts menu and replace the actions every time Illustrator is started.
Does anyone have any ideas on a way to write code so that Illustrator caches the contents of the scripts menu? Preferably this would be before the actions are loaded so they don't get invalidated and need to be reloaded in the first place. A keyboard macro would likely execute to late to be of much help.
If anyone knows anything about the actual mechanism of caching the scripts menu or knows of anything else relevent to this please respond.

Edit: The menu is created in the Scripts Menu plugin (ScriptsMenu.aip). Perhaps there is no "cache" of the menu and the plugin just doesn't perform the startup until you browse to the File->Scripts menu?
AIMenuGroups.h has the global definition of the group:

Have you looked at stored outlines ? They are for plan stability.
Also you may want to look little deep on where your statistics are going wrong.
I would recommend using below hint and checking where is difference in estimated(E-Rows) and actual number(A-rows) of rows. This may point out some incorrect stats.

I bought a mini color checker card for camera calibration, however, I couldn't find "AcrCalibrator" in the "Scripts" menu?

To calibrate your camera, you would need to take a picture of the Color Checker. I assume you knew that much.
The calibration itself is an ACR thing that has nothing to do with Photoshop.
Until a few months ago, you would have to download a third party script, like the Tomas Fors/Chromohoilc ACR Calibrator, and run it independently.
That is no longer necessary, because now there is the Adobe DNG Profile Editor (often confusingly referenced as the PE), which is a stand-alone application with several features, like allowing you to generate custom profiles for any camera, and with a rab called simply The Chart Tab (sometimes referred to as the Wizard Chart), which will generate the calibration based on your shot of your Color Checker.
You'll need to download and install (it installs the new profiles automatically) the Adobe Digital Profile Editor:

Can i just show the pop-menu gif and not the links when sending to a printer?

I would like the navigation gif of my pop-menu to display

It could be that your signal dropped to GSM which is why it sent as a normal text. You need wi-fi, 3G or HSPDA to send as an iMessage. As does the receiver

Show the "zoom menu" - Zoom In/Out & Show All.

Tried to search the forum for an answer about it, with no luck..
My Flex version of my Flash project doesn't seem to have the
Zoom In
Zoom Out
Show All
.. menu options when I right-click my app at the browser (Firefox) nor at the Flash Player (v9).
However the Flash compiled version does have these options.
How can I restore these?
As I've learnt, these forums contain experts so I'm positive one of you know how to do that..

all context menus except "Settings" and "About..." can be disabled.
Zoom options are optional ContextMenuBuiltInItems.
This example disable all items except Zoom.

Wiki doesn't show the top menu if Vector theme is choosed

Hi, if i choose other wiki theme than the default one, i don't get the top menu (Home, Packages, Forums, ...), so it gets more complicated to navigate through arch website. i usually have two tabs in my browser: one for the wiki, and one for the rest.
is anyone else getting this behaviour? i think the right think is to always have the menu, regardless of the choosen theme.

BTW, i really don't get why, if you put the content in a different frame, is there the need to make one menu for each theme. is the menu also themeable? i don't think so though..
just to be sure, did you get what i meant when i proposed to load content in a different frame? (it will behave like a completely different page, and the menu will always be there).. this is all about separating the content from the menu.. similar to this (this is a single iframe design, for simplicity):

Drop Down Menu allways shows the Font Menu

Hi Everyone.
I work on a Mac G5 Version 10.4.11
in Illustrator CS3.
Right now I am trying to create a glossy button and therefore
I have to use the drop down menu of the transparency window.
When I press on the drop down menu (right now it says Normal)
instead of showing me the options like Screen) it shows me the Font Menu
(Show recent fonts, and show all fonts). I tried updating Illustrator and
I first deaktivated and then removed all fonts from the System, thinking
that I had a font problem. But that did not help.
Do you know what the problem could be?

Hi Anoo,
It does depend on what is being used to display the drop-down menu in the first place.
To have a menu disappear on its own, you would probably need to use the onmouseout event: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms536948(VS.85).aspx
This can be used to call a javascript function that closes whatever object you have opened to display the menu and will be triggered as soon as the use moves the mouse away from the menu.

After update, XFCE doesn't show the "Applications Menu" on right-click

I can set it to get a submenu called "Applications," but I can't actually get the Applications menu to exclusively appear on a right-click like I used to. How do I change this back?

Our menu bar no longer works correctly. The flyouts only show the first menu option and none of the drop-down menu options.

In previous versions of Mozilla we had drop-down menus that contained flyouts that offered more drop-down options. This no longer works in Mozilla 4. If you look at our website in IE7, 8 or 9 and Mozilla 4.0.2 they now work differently. (www.saskschoolboards.ca) Eg. Under About Us / Committees there should be three more dropdowns on a flyout - Committee List; MEPP Report and Semi-Annual Report form. Mozilla 4.0 only shows Committee List and no other drops downs. All of our flyouts are showing only the first selection and nothing else.
Other affected menus dropdowns are:
Board Dev / Trustee Development (there should be 4 dropdowns - not just one)
Communications has Surveys and Elections
Why is Mozilla not showing our menus correctly anymore?

It looks that the mootools script is no longer compatible with Firefox 4.<br />
Google Chrome behaves the same and also doesn't open the sub-menus properly and keep the first entry on display once it is open.
Did you check if there is an update for that script?
