Showing whole song on itunes (NEED HELP)

I'm currently am looking for a very long song name on itunes, I know it has the song but I don't know if it is the correct remix or not because it is not showing the entire song. I know it has multiple remixes on itunes because it is showing exaclty like this:

Waiting here for you

The third line is where it should show the remix but it gets cut off. Is there any way I can make this show???? I need help fast. And if anyone is a vocal trance fan the song is -Thrillseekers "Waiting Here for You" [Breakfast Remix]-
(BTW I am doing all of this from my ipod because my computer is currently borken.)

firstly, be a bit patient, these are worldwide user forums, the people who have a response to your problem may well be asleep/at work/school etc. or simply just busy. a few hours is nothing to wait for a response, if you have been waiting more than a few days then that is the time to 'bump' your problem up the forums. everyone on here is very friendly and willing to help, IF they know the answer or have suggestions they will let you know.
as to your problem, i'm not totally clear on what you mean.
you have a song with (what sounds like an incredibly) long title, which only partly shows up. (do you mean in iTunes or on your iPod?) i'll assume you mean on your iPod.
there have been several 'calls' for apple to implement a 'scrolling' feature for song titles, as there have been on previous iPods, and seemingly inexplicably not put on the ipod touch.
i can see how this would be a problem for you, and until apple bring in such a feature

the only real suggestion i can make is to put all the details you want to show up into the 'lyrics' box. then when the song is playing, you can tap the screen and it will come up.

Wrong Songs on iTunes need help getting the correct ones.

I just purchased the album "The Ever Popular Tortured Artist Effect" by Todd Rundgren and two of the songs are different from the title of that iTunes has in the store. They are "Drive" which is playing as "Bang the Drum All Day" and "Hidawy" which is actually "Compasion" that is from a different album from the same artist. If you preview it on the iTunes store it is this way also. How can I get this corrected and either get a credit or the correct song?

Howdy carpetjim,
When you change the folder location like that, it changes where new songs and media are stored. To actually load the library you need to do this:
Steps to create or choose a different iTunes Library file
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you are using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu and choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you are using the Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of the following screens:
Additional information
If you do not see one of the screens above, then you did not hold the correct key at the correct time. You may want to try again. Note that if you pinned iTunes to the Start menu programs, and open it that way, it may not work.

So why can I not get iTunes working well?? It now takes at least 10 secs for any operation to be completed!
That is just plain evil. But I am sure I could do something to help.
All the music is on an 2T external drive.

Brigancook, is the library database on the external or just the media? iTunes reevaluates smart playlists and rewrites its database after every action on the library. I've found this can make a library half that size, with a lot of smart playlists, quite sluggish. That said I'm aware part of my problem is aging hardware. Having the database on the internal drive may improve performance if it is currently on the external.
I'd expect to see an exponential relationship between size and response time which may explain what you see. Cutting down on the number of smart playlists might help. If we're really lucky the long awaited iTunes 11 might have streamlined some of the background processes as well as cleaning up the front end.

How come most of my songs i purchased on itunes don't work? It says there is no file found for it when I bought the songs. I need help!

I bought many songs from Itunes and when I went to plug in and download my songs onto my laptop it only downloaded 20 songs that I purchased and the rest were counted as "There was no file to support this song" And I don't know how that even happened and now on my ipad none of the cover art for the purchased songs show up and none of the songs I bought on itunes are shown and play when I go to the purchase part of the music itunes store and its really ******* me off making me feel like I just wasted money on buying songs I can never listen too! You can redownload the songs as many times as you want, the "one time regrant" no longer exists. Make sure you are using the same apple id on both your dead itouch and your iphone 4. On your iphone 4 go to the itunes app > Purchased (may be under more based on your settings) at the top click not on this iphone, click all songs then click the little cloud next to each song you want to redownload. It will prompt you for your id and password and the begin your download

GB Audio Does Not Refresh to show new songs in iTunes

I am running GB 3. I am creating a podcast and was wanting to pull in a song from iTunes. I click on the Audio buttton and click on iTunes and Library. I see most of the songs in my iTunes library. However, there are some songs (unfortunately the one I want) that do not show up in the list.
How do I "refresh" the audio list in GB so I can pull the song I want?
BTW, I am able to drag and drop other songs from the iTunes library without problem. So that part of the process seems to work. It would just be helpful to know how to refresh the list so I get a complete list and the song I want.

350MB songs in Itunes needs 4 CD's for burning. Why?

What format are the songs in iTunes? Compressed files such as AAC or MP3 are uncompressed when you create an Audio CD so that essentially they become full sized CD (Aiff) type files that can be played on your CD player. If you are unsure of the format add the Kind column to your Library view in iTunes and you'll be able to tell what type of files they are. Right click at the top of any column and choose Kind from the menu.

You should just be able to drag and drop the songs from iTunes to the flash drive.
Unless your songs are in a lossless format (Apple lossless, AIFF, .wav), they are already compressed. You could always convert them to a lower bit rate (downsample) but you would lose sound quality.

Uploading files from windows media player to itunes need help!

Some of the files WMA are protected some are not. When I uploaded itunes real player files transfered to itunes. How would I go in to change the settings in windows to unprotect the files to have them transfered to itunes. Help please

iTunes will not accept Window Media player tracks that are protected. If you imported them off your own CDs, did you check the option to apply protection to them? If so, your only choice is to re-rip those CDs.

I downloaded a free EP off a artists offical website. However when i used itunes to play the songs all of them worked but one. Everytime i try to play it iTunes prompts me to authorize my computer/account. So i enter my Id and password, and am told my account is already authorized. Having a similar problem. Bought three songs off iTunes. Two play fine. One prompts error message asking me to authorize the computer to play it. Then it says it's already authorized but won't play. If I delete the song on my machine, will I be able to download it again off iTunes free of charge?

I just bought a bomb new album by my favorite band and iTunes decided that it only wanted to play the first twenty seconds or so of every song. So, I called them, and they sent me here. The guy I talked to on the phone, Brian, was a very polite gentleman, however he didn't provide me with any of the support I needed. So if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
