Shuffle 3g status lights off when the device is playing

did the led fail in my ipod or does the firmware switch off the status lights when the unit has been playing for a while? mine is playing just fine right now but there's no little green light glowing by the earphone port. is this normal?

Are you setting the Shuffle Albums setting here:
Settings>Shuffle>Albums
If you have that last setting = Songs, then it is going to shuffle your songs. If you have it set to Albums, then it should shuffle the Albums but play the songs within the albums in order.

This is my first message on the official Apple discussions and my iPod shuffle is my first Apple product
I have a question : when you start your iPod shuffle, are the two status lights showing you the battery charge for a few seconds ?
When I turn mine on, only the light next to the power switch gives me that information
(but that's the only case, when I set the volume, change the track, or press play/pause, the two lights do work both)
I wanted to ask you the question cause the e-manual says that I can check the battery on the status light (no "S")...
...but a few lines after, it says the status lights ("S"!) are useful to see if a button is being pressed or to check the battery charge
Can you tell me if that is a problem from my iPod or just... normal ?

Normal behavior... LED next to switch lights when turned on. Othewise, BOTH LEDs light to acknowledge control input.

This is usually an indication that your headphones/earbuds are not plugged all the way in. Double check the connection and make sure that no metal from the jack is showing.

No. It must be online in order to locate it.

The weird thing is that after I click shuffle when the random number appears, I click it to turn it off and then I click it on again and it works fine. Is this a glitch or a bug or am I doing something wrong? How do I fix this?

I am unable to tell when the battery is completely charged. I have showing the battery symbol with the bolt-this is present even when the device is not being charged. And it is always showing 2% charge.

HT2101 Anyone else get the "iPod too hot" message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool?

My iPod Touch 4 repeatedly gets the iPod too hot message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool. Shuts itself off. Ugh!
Is this a warranty issue or is there a fix?

Phone freezes and turn itself off when the "Ph. se...

I got a Nokia n97 mini 2 weeks ago and the phone works great except that sometimes it would turn itself off and when I turn it back on it lags and freezes. I notice every time the phone freezes and turn itself off when the "Ph. setup" in the App menu is running. Is the device updating itself? How can I make it stop? Everything freezes as soon as the Ph. setup starts running.
I try waiting it out (if the phone is setting something up it shouldn't take more than a few minutes) but I leave it there for several hours and it's still frozen.

E71 seems to play up when the device gets cold

I am having a problem with my E71 which seems to only occur when the device gets cold. The keyboard freezes up (cannot type or unlock my keyboard), the voice command thing turns on randomly (the annoying little beeping thing which follows with say a command).
If i put the device infront of a heater for a few seconds to warm it up it seems to work again. Anyone else having these problems? I live in Canada where it is always cold so the phone's problems need to be fixed.
Is this just my phone telling me it doesnt like the cold and is normal? Or does it need a visit to the phone shop to get fixed??

hadimassa thanks for the response........ but would the battery only mess with the keyboard and make the voice commands randomly go off?? would it not mess with more of the phones features??

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:

Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
