Shuffle feature not working anymore

I have an iphone 3G. The "shuffle" feature on the ipod doesn't seem to be working. The same song just keeps repeating. Is there a button or setting that needs to be reset?

Check to make sure the repeat setting has not been enabled. To do this, tap the artwork one time from the Now Playing screen to bring up additional controls. You will see an icon with two arrows going in a circle. Tap this icon until it turns white, mean it is Off.

If you don't have all of your content on a backup that you can copy onto your new computer and into its iTunes (File > Add To Library), then you should be able to copy iTunes purchases from the iPad to it via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases). For content from other sources (e.g. music that you copied form CDs) which you don't have on a backup, there are some third-party programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from your iPad.

My ipod shuffle is not working anymore

Here's my scenario,
i got my ipod shuffle from an electronics store in the states during the week of 4th of July 2005; however, i'm from Toronto, Canada.........Canadian citizen. I tested out my ipod shuffle @ my cousins computer before i left, which worked. Took it to Toronto (my hometown).......and I was enjoying it. Almost a month of using it, the battery was almost getting low and it needs to be charged. I got my new computer (Windows XP pro) between August 18-24. I wanted to add more songs plus charge the shuffle on the computer. I followed the instructions just like @ my cousins house and u know what........my new computer did not recognize the shuffle at all. itunes was available, however. I tried it again another day...putting the shuffle on another USB, still not recognizing.......i noticed there was an orange light blinking and i took it off the computer. I thought it was broken....songs were still there. Few hours later.....it's not functioning anymore!!!!!!! I tried everything: updating, restoring.....on/off still ain't working. I tried to chat with an Apple representive....no luck.
What should i do? Should i go to the Apple store and ask them what's wrong with my ipod.
There's only 1 Apple store in Canada......and its in Toronto,Ontario. Its far from my house.....located near the west-end.

Ipod 4th Gen Shuffle Feature Not Working...

I have a new Ipod Shuffle 4th Gen and I have a many playlists which appear to be working except for one. I have one playlist called "jogging" which the Ipod voiceover speaks when pressing the button. However, when I select it, the track will not play. This particular song/track is 1 hour and 3 mins and is a collage of songs. Is there some reason the shuffle will not play it? It's an M4A file and Itunes says it's synched with the shuffle. When you select that playlist, it starts playing a song in a different playlist like it doesn't exist.

ps. Other playlist selections give one beep. When I select the playlist with the 1 hour file, I get two beeps.

Wi-Fi auto sync feature not working anymore since iOS 7...

I have noticed that the Auto Sync with iTunes feature does not work since I installed iOS 7 on my iPhone 4S. Wi-Fi is ON, the iPhone is on the docking for charging and nothing happens. Did I missed something ??? Am I the only one with this problem ?

Group chat features not working anymore

For the past two or more days I have been unable to send messages in Skype group conversations and tonight I found that I could not enable video in a group call or initiate a group call anymore. Also, on some occasions I do not receive new group messages.

I have been having the same issue. It started almost 2 weeks ago or whenever the last update occurred. I have tried just about everything i can think of from uninstalling to trying some commands in chat that were posted by a mac user like 2 years ago. So far nothing has fixed or helped the problem in fact it appears to be getting worse. At first I was only hindered by messages taking several minutes to send which progressed to hours days and now weeks. (spamming around 6-10 messages usually pushed it through). Next I was unable to group call then came the inabillity to do anything with the instant messanger in group calls. I deleted all of my past conversations thinking myabe they themselves were bugged but to no avail. If this issue could be addressed that would be great considering I use group call and chat everyday and for many hours a day. I have Windows 8.1 and if need be i can provide more specs if that would help narrow anything down.

Shuffle feature not working in one playlist.

All other playlists in iTunes shuffle but in this particular playlist whenever I hit the shuffle icon in the top left (next to the playlist name) it won't start the playlist at all. If I select a song and then press the shuffle button at the top it plays the first song but then plays nothing once the first song has finished.

Works fine for me. I open, say, Revolver by The Beatles, and press shuffle. The song list still shows the 'normal' track list, but starts playing #13, "Got to Get You Into My Life", and when that's done went on to play #7, "She Said She Said".

Now its npt even recognize by itunes anymore.

After updating my iPod touch 3rd generation to IOS5 some default apps are not working (anymore)

I updated my iPod touch 3g from IOS 4.x to IOS 5 last week and since then my iPod makes troublle!
First of all, during the update I did not see any Problems. After the update, I mean the step where the data will be restored to the iPod, I synchronized some APPS at the same time, maybe that was a big mistake. My iPod makes hard resets many times in a loop until it frozes.
So the only thing I could do here is pressing the home button and the power switch at the same time until it gets rebooted. The sync started again and it looked like everything runs fine.
As I tried to use iMessage first time I realised the first Problem: I am unable to loginto iMessage with my Apple ID. My Apple ID runs fine, I can by Apps and so on. I also enabled iCloud to see that my Apple ID is ok. But logging into iMessage I put in my Apple credentials and Password, click on next, wait 3 seconds and the screen flips back. So this feature is not working.
Next issue I see is that randomly my iPod hard resets itself. Even if I don't do anything with my iPod I can see that it resets itself, booting with the apple icon. This happens minimum three times a day... (Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV), Kern_INVALID_ADDRESSat 0x00000000)
Today I tried YouTube, an internal Application which I cannot reinstall. It's not working anymore, starting YouTube says: Unable to connect to YouTube!
I have no clue whats going on here because email and web is working fine.
In my eyes I would like to reset the whole device to a state before running IOS5 and I would try the update again. But my Question is how to reinstall IOS5?
If IOS5 will not run smoothly on my iPod, I would prefer to backref to iOS4x.
Is there anyone who could help me out here?

Found the rootcause. The battery was damaged and unable to have enough power to keep the device alive. After changing the device problem is solved.

After updating to V 15.0 I have the issue that suddenly many but not all of the functions do not work anymore. Menues and download links do not work.

I have updated my firefox to version 15.0. After this I have the effect that at some unspecified time during use many of the functions stop working. Menu's do not open, download links do not work anymore and so on. Opening new tab's or windows still works. Links on pages partly work partly not. Copy and paste does not work anymore on webpages. It takes ending the firefox process and restarting to correct the issue until it happens again. I have those effects on totally different webpages. At this time it happens every time after I start Firefox but not right away. Firefox first works for some time and then it suddenly doesn't anymore without me having done anything special

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Accelerometer not working anymore YOGA 13

I like to tinker :-) and I crashed my brand new yoga after trying to merge the partitions. So, I did a fresh install of windows 8 pro x64. Prior to re-installing, there was a really cool feature on the bing travel app that I liked. You could view a 360 degree photo and move it with the Accelerometer / Gyro in the yoga. After the reinstall, I downloaded all the drivers but now the bing travel app vr 360 gyro feature does not working anymore. I have tried everything I can think of like: make sure there are no exclamation points in device manager, downloaded QuickTime, java.
Please help.

+ shaking and tilting the machine
+ hard reboots
+ uninstallation and reinstallation of synaptic drivers
+ applying metro store app updates

Can;t get the 'Shake to Shuffle' feature to work

I bought a new 16gig blue ipod nano yesterday and its all going good except for two things.
Firstly- I cant get the 'Shake to Shuffle' feature to work. I will shake my ipod around like mad when im in shuffle mode but nothing happens!
and Secondly- I cant get the genius to work on my ipod. When im playing a song I hold down the middle button and 'Add to On The Go, Browse Album, Browse Artist and Cancel' all come up but no genius! I do not have an itunes account because I do not have a Credit Card so i cant work it on my itunes either- is that why it wont work on my ipod?
If some would could please help me out it would be much appreciated.

1) Make sure Shake-to-shuffle is turned on in the Settings option of the iPod.
2) Genius won't work if you haven't activated it in iTunes. You don't have to give a credit card to get an account, a debit will do just fine.

Autoplay for slideshows not working anymore (Android)

Hi,
The Autoplay feature for Slideshows on an Android Viewer does not work anymore (App Version 3.4.1.2.91513, v29, Android 4.2, build today with latest DPS App Builder). It's an 1024x768 px sized folio with PDF, v28.
Anyone else having this problem?
EDIT:
- The same problem for HTML content (vimeo video placed as well as an Edge Animation).
- Some Overlays such as slideshows show with crappy quality and the text is not readable.
EDIT2:
- HTML Content always overlays other interactive features, like MSO's. The order on the iPad and in InDesign (MSO has a higher layer) is OK.

It was change because laptop owners couldn't keep from accidentally hitting the power button when reaching for the delete key.
Press and hold for about 2 seconds to get sleep.
Press and hold for about 4-5 seconds for dialog box.
Press and hold for about 10 seconds to force shutdown.

Autologin not working anymore with systemd, xfce, slim

I recently upgraded my system to a full systemd setup and since then autologin to xfce with slim does not work anymore.
I was previously running a systemd/initscripts system (updated to 31/07/2012) and things were working fine. Upon updating to current, autologin stopped working. Instead I am presented with the slim login screen. Once I put my username and password in xfce starts as normal.
I searched these forums and others to find a solution but have not been successful so far.
My .xinitrc:
