Shut down (panic) during sleep?!

Question

This is very unusual for me and I wondered if anyone can make sense of the report below. The only thing that has changed recently is the addition of an airport extreme card. Thanks in advance.

Hi, jimlad.
1. Both your profile and the panic log show that you are running 10.4.3. Mac OS X 10.4.6 included a fix for vnode-related panics, which is what your panic log shows:

I'd suggest updating to Mac OS X 10.4.6. Before installing software updates, you may wish to consider the advice in my "Installing Software Updates" FAQ. Taking the steps therein before installing an update often helps avert problems.
2. While it is not flagged in the backtrace section of the panic, assure the AirPort Extreme card is installed properly, i.e. the correct side up, seated firmly, etc. Consult the documentation that came with your G5.
3. If none of the above sort it out, See my "Resolving Kernel Panics" FAQ. This FAQ includes step-by-step instructions for identifying and resolving some of the most common causes of kernel panics. My FAQ is a roadmap: start at the beginning and work through to the end, following the instruction in the order specified, including the "If all else fails..." section if a cause or resolution is not found in an earlier troubleshooting step therein.
