Sick Of Ipod Problems (please help)

i beg for someones help, i have bought 3 ipods from apple, I LOVE THEM, but they have many problems.. im not hear to complain, i truly love my ipod
recently my 5th generation problem, started having a weird problem, on every pair of head phones i put in my ipod it only plays in one ear, I have tried brand new ear phones, head phones that work in one ipod and not mine,
they all only work in one ear(the right ear to be exact)
has anyone ever had a problem like this, what should i do?
all suggestions would be appreciated.

the option in setting and then clicking to restore
factory settings, because i get confused on that

hmm.. the first one, yes squeeze it, think it's a kind of common problem, well at least a few people have had it before
and the second one, no, actually plug it into the computer and run the update software but click restore, not just the ipod settings..

(4th Gen.) iPod Problems please help

Hi my iPod has starting problems. The start up never seems to get past the initial apple sign. I can hear the disk spinning then stopping then spinning stopping etc.... The sad iPod, and low battery warning also alternate.
I have tryied reseting and I tried to change to check disk mode but it won't allow me to change the mode. Needless to say iTunes doesn't recognise it when it's plugged in.
Any ideas please,

If you successfully restored (went through all steps without error) to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Laptop problem leads to ipod problem please help

hello to all the read this,
after a virus on my laptop i had to restore it back to factory setting's now the only copy of my iTunes libury is on my ipod nano 8GB. I purchased the laptop and the ipod at the same time back in 2006 thus can prove its not second hand or stolen. So apart from loading all my cd's back on to the computer how can i get my music back on my laptop.

*For future reference, always remember to maintain some type of backup of your data!*
There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes. The first link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method if you have a PC as well as a few third party applications (for both the Mac and PC) if you choose to go that route instead. You can also do a simple Google search for "copy music from iPod to computer" and you should receive a number of sites that can help you out.
Just make sure that when you have your iPod plugged into your computer, that you don't hit "Erase and Sync" before completing the task of copying your music over.
Also, if you have any purchased music, you will probably have to re-authorize your computer by heading to the Store drop down menu and choosing "Authorize computer."

I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

ITunes will not add new songs to iPod. Please help!

Hello, my problem is pretty self-explainitory. I have the newest versions of itunes and ipod. When I plug in my ipod it "updates" it fine but once its done the new songs/artists/albums/playlists are not on my ipod.

oh my gosh that is like the same thing that happened to me! i just downloaded itunes 7.0.2 yesterday and i bought some new songs and downloaded songs from cds into my library. i clicked "sync ipod" and the songs i downloaded from cds were the only things that went on!!!none of the songs i bought from itunes store went on my ipod!

You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

The error is a very basic one - the sapmsPRD service is not known. You will have to go to <NT_ROOT>\system32\drivers\etc and add the entry sapmsPRD 3600 to this file.
This is basically telling the requester at what port to look for the message server.

You should make a mapping for the service sapmsPRD in your /etc/services file (On Windows: C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32DRIVERSETCservices). If your instance number is 00 you will have to add the following entry:
sapmsPRD 3600/tcp

when i log in to windows the system show that found my TV@nywhere card but it didnt took the installatin driver for it i tried to install the driver directly

Don't worry, just follow these steps to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo
=> First of all Start your Computer and then connect with Internet connection, now Download the latest version of the iTunes application
=> Now install the iTunes application in your System and connect your Device with computer via Data cable
=> Now connect your Device with iTunes application and then Tab on summary option, see in the left side bar of iTunes
=> Now Select restore option from iTunes and then confirm the Restore Message for better results. After this unplug your Device and Restart it
