Sick of losing features and functionality with Apple "upgrades"

So far with upgrading my IPad 1, my iPod touch1 and my Apple TV, I have lost some features on everything and the iPad is slow and crashes all the time.
really ****** off, I have 7 Apple products and didn't think I would ever stray, but if this keeps up I will be reconsidering.

Which features do you think you've lost? I'm not aware if any features Apple has actually removed. You also don't mention what you gave upgraded from and to.

Older CUA version connectivity and functionality with ECC 6.0

Our current Solution manager box, which is used for CUA, is on Netweaver 04 (sap basis 640 patch 16). We are in the process of upgrading to ECC 6.0.
Generally speaking I would recommend having a CUA box at the same level or higher than the child systems. However I'm would like to know if anyone has experience with a similar version scenario as described above. If so what issues did you run into and or other items should I be aware.
Also, ECC has several new system parameters and other password related changes. Can any of the newer password functionality be used if CUA is still on the older version?

Coincidentally I have had the same problem and I am also on Reliance network. I learnt the lesson in an expensive way (Read at Rs.17/min as this is the ISD rate of Reliance for calling to USA). I did mnp (mobile number portability, you oldie!) from Airtel to Reliance. So I had the inactive nano sim of Airtel. I took out the Reliance sim and inserted the Airtel sim into my iPhone 5s. By the time it was serching for the network, I quickly navigated to settings>phone and turned that damned dial assit off. That's it. Now when I inserted the Reliance sim and dialled the toll free numbers it was working perfectly, means free of cost. But I still wonder how come Reliance does not send the post call charge notification after the ISD calls? I had to call 198 to know about the balance deduction.

IMac and frustration with apple

Right so, my iMac started having a hissy fit with the fans being extremely loud. After a few days, I got the boot with the question mark and flashing folder. I took my imac into the apple store, and told the apple genius my problems. He told me the hard drive was dead. So I asked him if the hard drive would cause these problems and he told me yes. I asked if he could check to make sure. He just told me it was the hard drive again. I went out and got it fixed by a certified apple technician, because he told me it would be cheaper. I got a new hard drive, tried to install the OS and it froze and fans went loud half way through. My second attempt was a success, but it froze and loud fans again. Now that I have paid for something that obviously made no difference, and I'm assuming they will now say I need to spend more. Would apple be entitled to repair it for free?

The last G5s were built in JAN 2006. Long out of warranty. Apple has no obligation to this machine. If someone other than the Apple Store repaired this Mac, they had an obligation to verify what was wrong with the Mac and actually repair what was wrong. If replacing the HDD did not fix the problem take that up with the repair shop.

Blackberry Assistant, features and functions

According to the Blackberry Classic user guide, when using the Blackberry Assistant and working with E-mails you can: Send an e-mail, reply to an e-mail, and search your e-mail messages. However I'm unable to search or find any E-mails using the assistant in that it responds that no E-mails were found. If I issue the command "read messages' the assistant will search and notify me of any text messages and request further direction such as read, reply etc.
Now, I have the Hub configured to display all E-mails, messages etc. in separate folders only but given that text messages are being read I don't think this should make any difference.

I do PowerPoint presentations very often... it is a pain to bring a pointer, and have the pointer work at every business meeting. it would be grand to have a pointer bulit-in with smart phone.

Does Apple plan on restoring oft-used features and functions that were removed in the latest iWork?

In Pages alone, I am sadly missing text-to-table conversions and find and replace of white-space characters, among others. I had a running list going of features I can no longer find, but after about a dozen, I just got sad looking at it and threw it away. Is there anywhere to submit these concerns? Is there any chance Apple will respond with an update that replaces lost functionality?

You can submit Pages feedback to Apple. Just don’t expect any response. As this is a voluntary, user to user support community, Apple is neither here, nor do they reveal any future product plans to us. Although Apple has released a few updates to Pages v5, it still remains substantially limited, and any timeframe or commitment as to future updates, or content, is known solely by Apple.

What i need is a more comprehensive listing of the differences between these 3 models in terms of both Hardware and Software aspects for non-jailbroken iphones.
Logically speaking, this list should be available. But where?

Saving movies directly onto time capsule and synching with apple tv

hi all
i've just got hold of a 1tb time capsule. i have a heap of home movies that i want to move from tape to computer, and reckon there is over 100gb of footage. i don't have enough hard drive space for all of them
i had hoped to be able to transfer them via my laptop directly to time capsule. is this possible? And can stuff be saved on time capsule that is not then stored on the hard drive?
to complicate things, i'm hoping to be able to view them on apple tv, and hoped to be able to synch the apple tv with the time capsule
Am i making things very complicated?

I don't know about Apple TV. I don't think you can sync a Time Capsule, but check either in the Time Capsule forum, hidden in the +Digital Life+ section, at: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1253 and/or the MobileMe forums, also in +Digital Life,+ at: http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=116
One additional consideration is backups. Most backup apps (including Time Machine) won't back up a Time Capsule (Apple's main intention for the Time Capsule is as a destination for backups, not a source). There is a feature in +Airport Utility+ where you can attach an external drive to one and "archive" the TC's disk to the external. So be sure you have a good backup plan.

Remote app and Ipad with Apple TV

I use the Remote app with both an iPad and iPhone to control my first gen Apple TV. This works fine except for one thing. When I select "Apple TV" as the library, using an iPhone I have access to all my library including Podcasts. When I run the same app on my Ipad, still selecting "Apple TV" as the library, no Podcasts come up on the iPad to select - the category is completely missing.
Has anyone else seen this issue ? Are they still there but hidden somewhere else ? Bear in mind I keep no content on the Apple TV - it is effectively just acting as a wireless device to get the signal to my TV.

Tap Settings on the iPad then tap General / Reset / Reset Network Settings then restart your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
See if you can access podcasts now.
