Sick of updates

Before Symbian Anna got released I was over the moon with my N8, I could show off features and how good my phone was, since this update, and the two new updates I would steer people clear of this phone.
Problems that I have come across:
1) Battery life has gone from being amazing, lasting pretty much 2 days, to not even lasting half a day, and my usage hasn't changed, and There are no background programs even running either, even over night it loses battery life....
2) web browsing has sped up, but usability has been cut. typing texting into a web browser page is horride to say the least, the screen doesn't follow the text so you can't see what you type, and it becomes very slow when doing so.
3) Texting, one of the biggest things for me was writing a text, even from conversations it would open a big window and you could see pretty much everything you write. Now it has a two line viewing panel so you can still see the conversation... Not a good move. and what bugs me most is I love T9 keyboard I text pretty fast but when I am writing a text and it goes to the next line, it freezes and doesn't understand anything you put untill you wait.
4) The MAJOR thing for me was the whole 'drag and drop' of .avi files, now it doesn't seem to support this?? for real.... I might as well go and get an iPhone if I have to take more of my own time to convert a film for my phone...
5) E-mail syncing, Why on earth would you disable the feature to stop the e-mails auto synicing, I have had to delete my e-mail accounts off the phone because a couple of times a day my phone would freeze and would take ages to recover because of this stupid feature.
6) The phone doesn't tell you when you have no signal that you had any missed calls, That surely is basic stuff... never had a phone that couldn't be bothered to give me a notiforcation.
I have gone from loving this phone to more or less hating it, it is a daily headache for me now and fed up. I am going to try and get rid off Anna and revert back to the old one, if that fails I am just going to go for an iPhone, because what made it HUGELY unique you have taken away... and for me to rant like this means I am on the last straw, sorry Nokia.
And the thing that winds me up more is I have tried so much to put this right, and to fix it, And I know 3 other people with this same phone, and they all have the same problems... Very let down.

The only thing I cannot comment on is your point 5) as I don't auto sync emails. However, for the rest, I do not experience the problems that you seem to have. I do find the battery runs down quite fast if I am sending or receiving very large files over Wifi but that is to be expected but is long lasting otherwise. And as you say if you compose sms in conversations mode there is limited space for typing - but I suspect the only answer to that is a much bigger screened phone or don't compose in conversations mode.
So either you are doing something wrong or your phone has a problem. Have you tried reinstalling the updates again?

Yes, yes, yes... I've gone through all the common sense trouble shoots. Would't be here asking questions if that answers existed on the net. Sorry if I sound a bit edgey, but I've had nothing but issues with every update since IOS 7. Clearly there's nothing that can be done about this. and this is the final nail in the coffin to try to make me buy an Iphone 5.

I have to reinstall/update Flash player everyday?

Hi I am a Mac user (MAC OSX 10.6.8) and I use safari as my main browser. (safari version 5.1.5)
The thing is when I try to watch youtube videos, at least once a day my video just turns black, or it says 'plug-in failure'.
I found that the solution for this is updating the flash player, but since this happens everyday I am updating flash everyday.
Everytime I update flash player, the videos work fine.
Last time I installed Flash player was yesterday, the latest version possible, and yet the problem occurred just now.
When I install flash player, I do not uninstall previous versions , simply because it worked fine with them.
Could that be the main problem?
I'm just getting really sick of updating this everyday, force quitting all my browsers and losing all the tabs I had opened.
Please help?

You don't need to uninstall Flash Player before installing a new version. Because you install Flash Player everyday, it won't be an update. You are simply installing the version that's already present in your machine.

Does this issue happen only with specific sites or with all the sites?

what version of iPhoto are you using? i can't begin to answer that - it is no longer listed in my applications & has only a shadow of its icon in the dock

what exactly do you see when iPhoto attempts to launch? -it doesn't attempt to launch - i get a message saying "You can’t use this version of the application “iPhoto” with this version of OS X. You have OS X 10.8.5. The application requires OS X 10.9 or later".
what have you tried? wringing my hands ! i daren't try anything after the hard drive crash
where is your library located? there is an iPhoto library folder on my desktop with random photos & albums - not all - put there by me - i vaguely remember a problem with iPhoto when i upgraded from snow leopard
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring? after the drive replacement i uploaded saved data from a week old back up and found iphoto looking somewhat sick - no updates were offered in software updates
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library? i'm afraid i do not know what that means
what type of Mac? a macbook pro
how much free space on your boot drive? about 380 GB

Adobe flash player and shockwave keeps crashing

Driver Setup problem!k8n user plz help.....

when i wanna setup the SATA/RAID driver on the beginning of the windows setup, i can only run the 'nVidia RIAD class driver', if i setup the 'nVidia nForce Storage Controller' as well, my windows setup will occurs error and cannnot setup windows anymore unless i no install the 'nVidia nForce Storage Controller' at the next of windows setup. What happening actually??? i no have SATA hard disk, is that the problem occurs???

I've had this, the Driver asks if you want to update Pata drivers, if you say Yes it goes to blue screen on restart.
Use the Windows XP Pata Drivers NOT NVidia - there is no difference in performance

Are you using the Floppy Disc that came with your motherboard. This is faulty
Raid / Win XP install problems
you only have a IDE Drive
you dont need floppy when you install windows
Disk is for Raid and 'nVidia nForce Storage Controller' =Sata
Windows will install the XP IDE drivers ok

Downloaded Yosemite this AM on blind faith. Now printer won't work.

Now printer won't work. "Epson not supported" Have a Artisan 730. In middle of job. So sick of updates that are not ready, eating my hours and hours.
Is solution to buy a new printer? Can I "System Restore" on an iMAC and get rid of this "update"?
I have tried to reset WiFi, rebooted, tried to reload CD setup, nothing works. Meanwhile will go plug printer into XPS One2710.

Your printer is supported, according to OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download - Apple Support (Epson drivers) and About AirPrint - Apple Support (AirPrint). Don't use the cd that came with the printer to install the drivers, those are out of date.
Delete the /Library/Printers/EPSON and /Library/Caches/Epson folder, delete the printer, and then add it using AirPrint (without installing any drivers) or download the Epson drivers from Software Update or Epson Printer Drivers v2.18 for OS X.

I own my own business and instead and spending hours looking for an answer and a solution I thought I'd ask your good brains!
I have an iPhone, MacBook and a iPad. I want to put ALL my things in my calendar on outlook or entourage on my MacBook or even iCal but is there a way they can automatically sync to each device if I add or change something on my calendar?
Please help quickly! I'm sick of updating three calendars!

You're not required to use their email.
In any event, I use MobileMe to sync my calendar among multiple devices. I expect that you can do it with cabling but I don't know how. Perhaps someone else will jump in.

When an RFC fails from the portal to an SAP Backend, probably ECC 6.0 in your case, there are a few options that I use to troubleshoot:
      1. Ensure that all your jco's are set up ok, passwords, ect. JCOs do not appear to be the problem here
      2. Have an ABAP programmer review where the RFC is failing on the Backend System
      3. Set up an External Breakpoint in the backend RFC. Step to do this:
               a. Get the Backend UserID of a test portal user that is having this issue.
               b. Ensure that test user has "Debug Display" access in the Backend System
               c. Log into the Backend system, go to SE 37 and display your RFC
               d. Go to Utilities --> Settings --> Debugging in the top menu and add the Test User ID to the "Users" field.
               e. Set an external breakpoint any where you want in the RFC.
               f. Run the Leave request as the test user.
               g. a new SAP GUI screen will popup once it hits the breakpoint. The portal browser will stay frozen until you step thru the ABAP program.
Option 3 may sound like alot at first if you never used it, but if you are responsible for troubleshooting portal issues like this one, it is a skill you must have. You can also have an ABAP resource responsible for external debugging when you come accross issues like these. It helps you see exactly what data is being passed in from the portal and what is happening to cause the error.

iPad 2: RAM - 512MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5
iPad 3: RAM 1024MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5X
Similarily, the iPad 2 did not get Siri and some other features in iOS 6.

Is anybody else sick of uninstalling Google Chrome following an Adobe update.

I own a number of Adobe products (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.) and every time I update I end up with Google Chrome. I resent any software that is aggressive as Google. I don't like it and I don't want it. Apparently, you have no choice. It just installs whenever Adobe updates a product.
Anybody else sick and tired of the abuse and disrespect of their time?

You get Chrome when you update Photoshop or Dreamweaver? That is strange, as the products update inside the Adobe Application Manager.
Or you get Chrome when you update Flash Player? If so, uncheck it on the download page
