Sick to death of export issues in Premiere Pro CC

I waste so much time with random errors exporting from premiere.
The most recent issue being it decides to randomly not export audio from tracks 2 and 3. It begins fine then out of the blue drops the 2nd and 3rd tracks, track 1 remains audible. The worst part about this is that there is no way to know if it will happen until the full render is complete. The first time it happened I was doing a batch export of 7 videos in Media Encoder. It rendered the first video in its entirety fine, the following 6 video all dropped the 2 or 3rd track randomly during the export. So the next day I began exporting them all one at a time with good results until I got to the 4th video and it did it again. I am re rendering without the media encoder now but I don't have much expectation for that result as when I don't use media encoder the program often returns a "Error compiling movie. Unknown Error." right at the end of the render.
I also can't render .mov files to any other drive than the local D drive and only through Media Encoder.
I have been a Premiere user for some 15 years and I have to say this new Creative Cloud is the most frustrating and time consuming product I have ever come across in terms of rendering a final product.

I have to applaud your thoroughness in testing and detail in writing this up.
Unfortunately I may not be of much assistance. I have to assume (by your thoroughness) that all machines are running the same OS version. If that is the case, you certainly seem to have isolated the problem to either the 2012 Mac hardware (iMac or Ethernet chipset) or the specific Ethernet drivers for that model.
Chances are, since PPro 7.2.1 works in the environment on other Macs, it is actually a Mac/Editshare problem.

  • 4K export issue on Premiere Pro CC

    Hi!
I recently purchased Sony FDR AX100 4K comcorder.
I exported the same footage  in Premiere Pro CC (Trial Version) and Premiere Pro CS6 using the same exporting setting, H264 bitrate 80.
When I play using the VLC player into my computer,  the one from Premiere Pro CS6 was played well, but the one from Premiere Pro CC was not played well, sound was OK, but video stopped and played repeated.
Is there anyone have the same problem?
I am considering to upgrade to Premiere CC membership.
    Thanks for reading!
    Sunny

    Update!!!!!
    Thanks for kind reply.
Here is the setting on both programs.
    This is CS6 setting
    This is CC setting.
    I tested few more times..
Also CC exporting file is little larger than CS6 file.

  • Major Issues with Premiere Pro CC

I am currently having some major issues with Premiere Pro CC running on my macbook pro(specs below).
I am trying to export a 4 minute video using the vimeo 1080p export settings as I usually do, and it takes about 10 hours to export the video. On cs6, a similar project would take 5-10 minutes.
Also, the video that was exported contained a lot of clips that came out choppy and low quality.
I am currently on the phone with tech support, and they cannot seem to figure out what is wrong.
I have seen a few post about CC having issues with amd cards, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since this job is past due due to these issues.

You neglected to specify exactly which release of PPro CC you are running. There have been 5 of them.
If you're on CC7.2 or 7.2.1, then you may be hitting the same problem discussed in one of these threads:

The first thing to try is switching Renderer to Software Only.

  • Importing and exporting from cc premiere pro is very slow

importing and exporting from cc premiere pro is very slow, the system has i7 processor and memory is 64 gb and has internal raid storage. what could be the issue.

If you would like to test the tuning and setup of your Premiere installation go to our Premiere Pro BenchMark PPBM, the Instructions page has the download file.  This single download can test Premiere 6, 7 or 8 with the identical benchmark.  We maybe able to tell you why you are having problems.

  • Videos export with purple/green artifacts/splotches/flashes with Media Encoder CC but export fine with Premiere Pro CC?

I use Premiere Pro CC to edit videos, and videos render fine when I export through Premiere Pro, but when I try to use Media Encoder CC, the video exports with weird splotches of green/purple artifacts all throughout. It almost looks like the video is glitching and having a seizure of green and purple. No idea why this happens. Could anybody help me? I use Media Encoder to export bulks of videos at a time through its queue feature, which is why I prefer to use Media Encoder for video exporting.
    Please and thanks.

    Mitch,
I was hoping that you and others might have some insight as to whether the purple and green artifacts / splotches seen in the attached screenshots (taken from 4 consecutive frames here but occurring through the entirety of the clip) could possibly have resulted from exporting video with ~ Premiere Pro CS5 or 6 ? As seen below, these splotches alternate back and forth between purple and green in every consecutive frame. I was also hoping that someone might know if this is a relatively common type of artifact and how it is caused.

  • Exporting Sessions to Premiere Pro

    Hi There,
I'm a newbee to Adobe products. I was wondering; I had three or four clips of audio in one track of a Premiere Pro project, opened it in Audition, worked on it, then exported it back into Premiere Pro. The problem is that, when I exported it into Premiere Pro, Audition created one clip out of the three or four clips that I had. Yes they were all in the same track, but I need them separated so that I can apply different effects, volume and EQ to each later on.
    Any Ideas?

Here are some screen shots detailing what I mean.
This is Adobe Audition. As you can see, the large track is divided. It has five sections to be exact.
I click the export to Adobe Premiere Pro, but when it opens in Premiere Pro it joins the five sections on the one track and converts it into one section on the one track. Hope these help.

  • Exporting mpg2 in premiere pro cs6

exporting mpg2 in premiere pro cs6
When exporting a clip as mpg2 (win 7), the resulting output has a green screen lasting 1 second, folowed by a weird cross dissolve 1 second, then the video is starting and displaying correctly. I never had this problem before, it just happened today. Can someone help me solve this problem

    Why do you need mpeg2.
If its for DVD use a mpeg2-dvd preset.
For other purposes H.264 is usually the best choice.

  • Help with export/import in premiere pro

    Hi Everyone
I have a question about import and export in Premiere Pro CS5.
I have some 1920*1080 .mov-files shot with canon eos 500d.
What is the best import setting for premiere pro cs5?
What is the best export setting from premiere pro (to adobe encore) to dvd?
The film is going to be projected on to a big screen. How do I get the best quality for this?
I would be very very thankful for your help!
    Tami

check your paused and/or playback resolution settings...
I've found TIFF to be the cleanest output from PPT for inclusion in video, and I've also found that the scale to frame size command usually works pretty well within Premiere. However, Photoshop's scaler uses much better algorithms and will give you a much better result. You can do a batch process on all your files and automatically create smaller versions of them if you'd like. Alternatively, you can open PPT and customize the size of your PPT slide, which should scale everything to fit your new size. Then you'll have native 720x480 TIFFs on export from PPT.

  • Exporting problem with premiere pro

Hi again everyone.  This time Im having a problem exporting out of Premiere Pro.  I have noticed it trying 2 different applications.
1st, when I get the error saying that my video is to big to fit on a dvd, I go back and select SETTINGS and normally downsize it, however,
when I tried to do that after I selected SETTINGS, the program froze up and wherever I clicked it just beeped, even if I tried to close
Premiere.  It does the same thing when I try to Export with ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER.  Thats what I use to render video for youtube and
    such.
I don't recall making any changes to any settings that would cause these problems.  Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Tonya

already did that, its the only way to get it going again.  Have rebooted multiple times.  Its
almost as if the window should be coming up, but isn't, it just freezes the rest of the program
Im really afraid to uninstall and reinstall the whole program, because someone else helped me
set it up and I don't know if Id get all the setting right again.

thats way too vague of a question... best what?  quality? size? playback?
best quality then use high bitrate, small size use low bitrate.

  • Right sequence and export settings in Premiere Pro CS6, video with still images

I am trying to run a video on my website (self hosted). This video, made with Premiere Pro CS6, consists of still images with different video effects.
This video is only 50 seconds, but when I transform this in the ogg, webm and mp4 format, I obtain file with large size and the quality is not good.
Could you please guide me to find out the right sequence and export settings in Premiere Pro CS6 to obtain a video for the best possible quality on the web?
A precise description of the settings would be awesome.
    Thank you
    Silvia

Make the export setting the resolution you want to use on the web.
Make the sequence settings accordantly to these export settings

  • Cannot export media from Premiere Pro CS4

I am unable to export media from premiere pro cs4. The process I go through is as follows
select files/sequence I want to export
    select file menu
    scroll down to export
    select media
nothing happens, premiere pro "freezes", as though it was going to open up adobe media encoder but does nothing, premiere pro can be "unfrozen" simply by pressing esc.
I have tried doing all of this with media encoder open and still nothing happens. if anyone has any suggestions please throw them my way. thanks.

  • Graphics Card issues with Premiere Pro CS4

    Hey there,
I've placed the screenshot of my problem at the bottom of this post.
I'm having lots of issues with premiere pro CS4 and editing videos since I upgraded to Windows 7. I have some .mpg and .MP4 videos. Both of which play fine in WMP, VLC, WinAmp, VirtualDJ etc. But when I load them into PPRO CS4, as you can see in the screenshot they go green and pink. And they don't move. I.e you see one still image and hear only audio.
Now a fix I have found for this is to uninstall my graphics card. But this is no way an option to edit videos, as the resoultion goes from 1920 x 1080 to 1024 x 768.
I should add that I am runnig the following system:
    Dell Vostro 1000 Latpop
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit
    2.00Ghz AMD Sempron Processor
    2GB RAM
ATI Radeon XPress 1150 Graphics card
I have the latest graphics card drivers installed. I am just wondering what the problem is, and a potential fix. Would be great to hear any advice,
    Regards,
    Adam.

OK, here are some other things to think about:
ATI/AMD Catalyst seems to have an issue with one of the latest versions, maybe rollback to an earlier version.
Depending on your OS, check Hardware Acceleration (though this usually affect smoothness of playback) in Control Panel>System>Hardware>Advanced.
    Check your OpenGL settings.
In Catalyst, turn OFF any GPU Acceleration
That's about all that I can think of for now, and those are shots in the dark.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Export Freeze in Premiere Pro CC

    Good Day everyone.
We have 4 Late 2012 iMacs:
    3.7 i7 Processor
    32 GB Ram
    1TB Fusion Drive
    3 of them have GTX 680MX 2GB GPU's and 1 has a GTX 675MX 1GB GPU.
All of these machines are plugged directly into our 28TB Editshare server.
Here's the fun part. ALL of these machines can export any codec in any wrapper to the local drive. No mess. However whenever we try to export a film using a QT Pro Apps codec (Pro Res (Any Flavour), Apple intermediate Codec & Animation) the export will hang. we get no error messages or codes the export just simply stops and Premiere will just sit there at the same percentage until we force quit the application. There is no consistency to when the export will hang. it has hung at 4% 7% 12% 33% 67% 72% and 99% the sequence is completely clean, no effects or filters or adjustment layers are present. just pure footage and audio. (the footage is .MTS however the hang also happens when using footage transcoded to ProRes) Once the hang happens i can still access the local hard drive and applications. I cannot access any files stored on either an SMB or AFP mounted Editshare Project Space. and if i try to reopen premiere it hangs when trying to load the quicktime bundle. I am forced to hard reboot the machine for it to be fully operational once again.
This exact same hang happens also when using Adobe Media Encoder. Though interestingly i can export the same sequence from FCP 7 to Editshare as any flavour of Prores, AIC or Animation. I can also transcode a prores to WMV (using Bigasoft and encoding straight to editshare) i can also use MPEG Streamclip to transcode to a Prores going straight to Editshare.
Just to add a spanner into the works i can export the same sequence from Premiere Pro 7.2.1 (4) as any flavour of ProRes, directly to Editshare on an older 2009 Mac Pro, 2010 iMac and a mid 2011 iMac. it is only the Late 2012 iMacs which hang when exporting to Editshare using one of the above codecs.
I have been in contact with Editshare who have checked the network logs and all seems fine, they have ran all the diagnostic and replair scripts and checks they can and the system seems healthy and happy. Just as a side note it seems no one i have spoken to at Editshare has ever seen this issue before.
does anyone have any idea what is going on or has anyone ever seen this issue before? any help is greatly appreciated.
    thanks
    P.S Sorry about the essay
