SID and/or DIMID buffering for an InfoCube
In our current project we are discussing to set up SID and/or DIMID buffering for an InfoCube. we wanted to know whether it may lead to a remarkable increase of performance? If you possibly used this option in u201Creal lifeu201D, it would be great if you could share some documents or experience..

in the "early watch report" from SAP there is a chapter of that topic.
you can buffer dim table or master data sid's where you have many changes.
=> so, you can increase the loading performance, because the application server has more the 500 of the next keys.
=> when you shot down the SAP server, you lost the buffered key. Therefore some objects you don't have to buffers, for example REQESTID - there are no gaps allowed.

How to check whether this number range buffering for dimension tables (DIM IDs) and InfoObjects (SIDs) is Active or not ??

Thanks in Advance.The Early Watch report lists these because of the large number of rows in the MD/Dim tables. Keep in mind though, that Number Range buffering will really only help if you continue to generate a large volume of new SIDs or Dim IDs with ongoing loads, e.g.
If your transactions being loaded to a cube result in several thousand new rows being added a Dim table, then it makes sense to turn on Number Range buffering for that Dim ID. But if the transaction volume is only cause a few hundred DIM IDs to be added, buffering will not really get you anything. -

All is in the title, so I repeat it below with a better identation.
What are the pros and cons of
1) choosing to use the SAME
Apple ID for iCloud services on one side, and
purchases on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore, on the other side; or
2) to have and use two separate Apple Ids for these "two sides"?
P.S.
I have loads and loads of free podcasts in iTunes in my iMac, that are certainly more thant the 5 gigas the iCloud provides for free, so I don't want those to go to the cloud. But this is perhaps a different question...
Also need to mention that I have itunes on a mac, a pc and an iphone.
Sorry to look so silly with this question, but I don't get the "big picture".You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

e.g. i m using one tomcat server on a machine to run webservice and again using one more tomcat server on client side at different machine.
and hence it need two tomcat server.
But i want only one server to run webservice and client.

I need to reprogram the delete and enter key to the left side of a external keyboard for the ipad mini. I don't need the caps/lock or ctrl key. Due to a brain injury my daughter can only use her left hand to type. She also uses a text to speech app to verbalize all of her needs since her speech isn't intelligible any longer either. And her vision was significantly affected also, so the keyboard has to be mounted about 6 inches from her face. So to reach across the keyboard with her left hand to the right side delete and enter button is physically difficult and causes typing errors, which cause people to not understand what shes trying to say.
The best keyboard so far is the Zagg folio mini. I just had to make stickers to enlarge the letters on the key buttons.
Does anyone know how I can reprogram these two keys? Or where I can buy a wireless mini keyboard for Ipad made for lefthanders with these two functions on the left side. I have searched for days and days. It's sooooo important to me that she be able to contribute her voice again. Imagine if you got in a car accident and couldn't speak clearly any longer, but understood everything still. Thanks for any help and suggestions you all take the time to share with me. I really appreciate the kindness of strangers to help me help my daughter.

Reduce Ratio??
The Ratios are dependent on the Fact Table, and the Dimension table that is modeled for your Cube.
You cannot change ratio individually, but can set the Line Item Dimension , provided you have only one char object is taking much space and bulky with much percentage, based on your requirement. You can always use fine tuning objects.

Mac Book Pro just got it, all was well for 2 weeks now Finder window does not fill whole screen, there is an 1 1/2" space of black on the right side and the Finder window had a 1" section that flipped like a rolling tv now it is a white bar! Help!

EEEgads, I have used ITUNES for my Ipod Shuffle for years and now it is a nightmare with 11.0, I can't find my Ipod when I connect to Itunes, it is a new Win 7 PC. It used to show up on left side and I would slide podcasts right over to it for years, I have installed 3x with removing old install. I also can hear a constant throbbing sound in spkrs. when Itunes turned on, pls advise.

You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.

I need to know that Adobe Premier elements 12 will do the following; Allow for zooming in of recordings (i,e, can zoom in on items I edit); Can display orgiinal and zoomed recordings side by side; and allow for frame-by-frame playback.

Your thoughts on frame by frame viewing are can do. However, the real time playback feature includes the concept of rendering the Timeline, when the program indicates the need to do so, to get the best possible preview of what you are seeing in the Edit area monitor. That is a major novel in itself. Each time you do a new edit you will get the render indicator message to ignore or act on.

First Install BC DS in ECC or OLTP side.
execute transaction RSA5 look for 0FI_GL_10 in the hierarchy.
Select it and click on transfer DataSources.
Then have a look in RSA6 and check if it has been transfered.
<b>BW SIDE</b>
Then in BW replicate DataSources for ECC / R/3 System
After that activate Business Content (BW)
In the BW System, choose Business Content
Select Edit source system assigment select the relevant one for you ECC, R/3 ....
In grouping select first "only necessary objects " to install your catalogues otherwise you will retrieve your IO in unassigned nodes.
select Object type
clik on InfoObject catalog look for
0FIGL_CHA01 FIGL: Characteristics
0FIGL_KYF01 FIGL: Key Figures
Click on install
After you have activated your infoObject catalogue change the grouping mode, select "in data flow before"
Click on InfoCube, look for 0FIGL_C10
insert object for selection and install
After that go under infosources in the modeling area and look for the infoarea 0FIGL_ERP find your infosource activate transfer rules and proceed to a normal uplaod with init delta etc...
