HI,
Probably I think you can't have two different SIDs and client numbers for single technical systems.  When you are referring to the System ID are you referring to system ID that you have configured on your SAP Logon pad.
In XI, even at the time of installation you need to go for 1st normal R/3 installation on which you will be virtually creating the instance that will allow to install the Java Stack.
Thus the SID will be common and you can have multiple instances or system numbers.

When trying to install iTunes to Windows 7 64-bit, I get a side-by-side error. Has anyone else seen this problem and were you able to resolve installing iTunes? If so, how did you resolve it?

    Hi
    Hope you are fine there!
recommend that you attempt to resolve this issue by uninstalling iTunes and QuickTime, and then reinstalling the latest version of each. To do this, first ensure that you are logged in to an Administrator user account on your computer, then follow the instructions in the appropriate article:

  • Many SID errors

Can anyone please explain the concept of SID error with a simple example.
Because a load failed with 100 SID errors all like  NO SID found for Value 231A for ZBUC , NO SID found for Value 555A for ZBUC n so on.
Master data for ZBUC is loaded active n updated.
Does this mean that there is enough master data to support transactio data.
I dont understand this concept of SID failing even after reading please explain .

    Hi Manish,
In the case you specified, the system is trying to verify the Transaction data loaded with the master data available using SID. When it does not find the relevant masterdata (i.e SID) it shows you the above error.
In your example, ZBUC infoobject may not have the value 231A. So you have to go to that infoobject-> maintain masterdata-> and verify by giving 231A in what ever filed it specified in the error message.
If it doesnot show any record, you have to either manually load the data into it and upon receiving the data you can reload the Transaction data.
If you think you can ignore those records, you can uncheck the masterdata verification checkbox as suggested in the above reply.
    Assign points if helpful.

    Thanks

    please perform these tests,
1- check if the reconciliation is working with the same user provided in the connector configurations?
2- check if the user reconciled can be updated modified through the IDM Admin console?
    after this
check that you are providing the proper OU for the user to be provisioned?
check the the Resource History and see where it is failing maybe some required information is missing.
have you applied the patch 14190610 for AD connector?

  • Windows 2008 R2 Standard side by side error

I have a Dell Poweredge 310 running Windows 2008 R2 Standard. I have update the bios to the latest version and the bios update did take but now all of my 32bit software will not run. I receive the error “The application has failed to start because its side-by-side
configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail”
I have looked over other posts and most have stated to install the C++ redistribution 2008. I was able to install the 64 bit version but I cannot install the 32bit version. I receive the error “The application has failed to start because its side-by-side
configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.”
So I am not able to install any 32bit software.  I have tried to enable the WOW64 feature with the command DISM /online /enable-feature/featurename:ServerCore-WOW64 but get this Error: 0x800f080c Feature name ServerCore-WOW64 is unknown.
I have also tried to use this command to setup WOW64  start /w ocsetup ServerCore-WOW64 I get this “The specified windows component could not be found: ServerCore-WOW64.
I have looked at the .Net 3.5 that comes installed in the Windows Features and it is installed. I do not want to uninstall and reinstall the feature because it will take down the AD and I really do not want to rebuild the AD
Is there some setting I am missing?

  • Unknown SID Error Message/Unable To Login to VM Manager

    Hello,
I have installed VM Server and VM Manager on the latest Virtual Box install for Windows 7.
When I attempt to login into the VM Manager (ID: ovm , Default Password: Welcome1) - I get
    the error message:
"... [APP: ovm_console] An incorrect username or password was specified. ...."
I selected all default passwords and database config values during installation (e.g., SID=XE).
(Note: I am able to login to VM Manager GNOME desktop but I am unable to log into the VM Manager UI.
I can log in as root in a Xterm window and the ovm Welcome1 password allows me into the GNOME environment. )
The critical error message in the AdminServer.log IS an unknown 'SID' message (even though the default SID=XE was selected):
"ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"
I reviewed the responses to the "Unable to Login to VM Manager" thread so I decided to try the recommended response (unlocking ovs oracle password) even though the logs responses were different in certain areas. I logged in as Oracle with the correct user env and attempted to start the XE database via sqlplus sys user and startup command. I was unable to start the database due to the below error message:
    2012-11-23 14:13:46.210
18 Oracle Instance Startup operation failed. Another process may be attempting to startup or shutdown this Instance.
19 Failed to acquire instance startup/shutdown serialization primitive
    ~
Shutdown abort also did not get rid of this message. Symptons suggest there is a lock not being released (e.g., primitive file that needs to be cleaned up/removed.) I did remove oracle *.lck files from /tmp directory but this did not help either. The ps -elf output also reveals there are no oracle pmon processes running.
If anybody has additional information on this matter - it would be greatly appreciated.

Further investigation reveals the reason why I can't manually start the database as oracle user. The permissions on the oracle directories via the default install are incorrect. Running the command chown -R oracle:dba /u01/app/oracle/ allowed the database to start.. OVS user is now able to login into the XE database.
Now logging in w/ admin user in VM results in the following error message:
" Unexpected error during login (com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused Connection refused Sat Nov 24 11:39:22 PST 2012), please consult logs for details.
I am spending way too much time on this Virtual box install. Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • Message has error status on outbd. side (error in Moni)

    Hello All,
Iam doing soap to idoc scenario, the scenario was working fine since long time....but yesterday we had an issue...we can see the message was sucessfully processed in XI monitor and RWB, but idoc not got created in sap ecc system.
when i checked in moni one column called Outbound status is in error status and the error is message has error status on outbd. side.....i checked the idx1, idx2,sm59......all settings are fine.
How to reslove the issue, please help me.
    Thanks and regards,
    Chinna

    Hi
Please check the below  i think your problem will solve
    Hi,
    Check whether IDoc was created:
    1. Execute Transaction WE05; enter correct date/time parameters etc. If IDoc found in failed status, open status records folder and double click on the failed status records to get error message.
Check Whether IDoc is received by the Receiver:
    2. Execute Transaction WE05; enter correct date/time parameters etc and verify if the IDoc was created or not and if IDoc is in a successful status or not. If the Idoc is in Status-30(Yellow), you can push it again through Transaction BD87.
    3. If the IDoc is located and status is successful but receiver has not received the IDoc, Execute transaction SM58 to determine if IDoc is stuck in the ALE/RFC layer. If entries exist in SM58, look for Message Type
    4. If message type exist and Run the Program "RSARFCEX". If after the RSARFCEX program has ran and IDocs are not in SM58, issue should be solved. Validate in receiving system via WE05 that the IDoc was received or not.
    5. If IDoc is still stuck in SM58, check RFC connection. Go to SE37, enter function module RFC_PING. We need to have access to SM59 to test the RFC Connection.
    6. After an issue has been resolved and/or you need to process an IDoc, besides processing IDocs via programs, you can also process IDocs via Transaction BD87.

    Hello,
I saw a related thread from here:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15130609/visual-studio-2012-side-by-side-configuration-is-incorrect
The dll in that thread is different from there but I think you can still try the solution listed there to repair your VS installation.
May I clarify some questions? Can you use Visual Studio before you get this error? Is it the first time you installed Visual Studio and when you try to open it it reports this error for you?
If you can use Visual Studio before you get this error, please try repair Visual Studio from control panel.
If you cannot use Visual Studio even when it is the first time to load, then it is a corrput installtion problem. Please remove the current installation:
http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2771441 Then download and verify the ISO:https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/downloads/visual-studio-2013-iso-sha1-vs
And restart the installtion with a healthy ISO.
Anyway, in my mind refer to the first stackoverflow thread and repair the installtion to fix this missing dll problem is more reasonable.
    Best regards,

  • SID error with Query Execution

I am executing a query and receiving the following error:
Abort SID 2 for characteristic ZSLSREG could not be converted CL_RSDM_READ_MAST
Abort system error in program SAPLRRK0 and form MEGA_SORT_02-02
The ZSLS InfoObject is a text InfoObject only and contains 47 lines of text.  However, when I look into the SID table /BIC/SZSLSREG, I don't see the X's that I see in other InfoObjects, in the DATAFL & INCFL fields.
This query has several other custom objects that work fine.  And they all have X's in their SID table.
This query with this object works in our development system, but I am having trouble in our test system.  I have retransported the InfoObject again too the test system, but still receive the same error message.
Any help greatly appreciated.  Keith J

Try running t-code RSRV and correcting the infoobjects.  Specifically the "Check Master Data for a Characteristic " test.

  • Client Side Error Message in Notification Region

    Hi,
Is there any way I can display my client side validation in NOTIFICATION region.
    My Scenario,
In my application, I have dynamic Apex Items (Generating Using APEX_ITEM API).
I have added client side validation (Javascript) when users clicks the button and I am showing my error message in alert window. (which is working fine). But now my customer wants to display the error message in Notification region instead of ALERT message.
Can anyone help me to solve this issue. Thanks in Advance..
    Regards
    Balaji S

    Hi
Yup, just create a div in the page template in the right place to hold your messages and give it an id like...
<div id="noteArea"></div>Now in you javascript, rather than using alerts, you can use
    var noteObj = document.getElementById('noteArea');
noteObj.innerHTML = 'my message with any HTML needed';Is this what you mean?
    Cheers
    Ben

  • Server-side error including webservice

    Hi,
I'm struggling with the webservice functionality on the
    server-side.
At the top of my main.asc-file I have this line:
    load("webservices/WebServices.asc");
That puts the following in my administration console:
    "WebServices Loaded successfully."
However, when someone connects to the media server and it
tries to initialize and use this webservice using this code:
    MyService = new WebService("uri.to.wsdl.file");
I get the following error in the administration console:
Sending error message: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media
    Server 3\scriptlib\webservices\XMLSchema.asc: line 110:
    ReferenceError: document is not defined
    Failed to execute method (XML.onData).
I've tried googling it and that gave this result, but the
    solution suggested here didn't work:
    Link
    to other forum
This is not caused by the webservice itself, since other
flash and .Net applications can use it without any problems.
Everything also works just fine when I run everything off my local
workstation, but as soon as I put the stuff on the server the error
message appears (and, yes, I've changed all references to the
webservice to be the one on the server instead of the local
    workstation ;))
What is causing this? Why do I get an error from Adobe's own
    code?

Sorry... I take back what I said about it not being the
webservice. It seemed it was the webservice after all... but not in
    the way you'd think.
It seems that the webservice handling on server-side AS can't
handle webmethods that return complex types. I had two methods that
returned DataTable-objects (.Net-objects). As soon as I removed
those the webservice calls worked just the way they should again.
All the webmethods in the webservice now only return primitive
    types.
This still seems like a bug in Adobe's webservice classes,
though. A consumer of a webservice should be able to handle complex
    types.

  • How to send reciever side errors back to sender

    Hi Experts,
i am doing PROXY to JDBC syncronous scenario, my requirement is if any errors in reciever side i need to send those erros back to R3 system. errors like if any autorization problem, coneection problem, query time out.
can anyone suggest me how to achieve this.
    Kind Regards,
    Praveen.

    Hi Praveen,
In my case, the error exception usually is done by BPM exception branch. You must to use BPM for your process and send SYSTAT or ALEAUD idocs types. I recommend you the use of SYSTAT idoc because is more openness than ALEAUD idoc type.
SAP should to improve this funcionality with new versions of SAP PI because if you want a good exception handling the best option is the use of BPM and the performance of BPM is lower than simple business scenario.
    Best regards.
