Side bar doesn't work

the Slide Bar on my touch ipod is not responding...going to close it down the closing red slide doesn't work also. any help would be appreciated.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Search Bar doesn't work in normal itunes but works in safe mode

I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem but with Itunes 11.0.4 The Search bar doesn't work no matter what you type any result you get you click on it nothing happens. I recently went into Itunes Safe mode and the Search bar works fine. I really hope Itunes fixes this with the next update.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I've found a solution!
Uncheck the "search entire library" option in the search bar then check it again.

Navigation bar doesn't work

I'm working on my website, and the navigation bar doesn't work. When I test it in iWeb, (checking the box that says "make hyperlinks active") it works fine, but when I publish it, they're dead. I can click as much as I want and they don't work.
I replaced the default title with a title that has a hyperlink to send you back to the main page. I'm wondering if this might affect it.
any tips?
the website (for now) is web.mac.com/chriscowan. As of this post, the only active links from the main page are "Music," "Podcasts," and "Words."
And yes, I have upgraded to 2.0.1

i too have been searching for an answer to this problem. found something in another post that totally fixed it. don't know if it will help you but worth a try.
check to see if a grahic box is covering your nav bar. Turn on 'Show Layout' to see the graphic boxes.

Somehow hyperlinked whole page, now navigation bar doesn't work

I was trying to add a hyperlink to the bottom of my page, and somehow made the whole page the hyper link. Now my navigation bar doesn't work. When I scroll with my mouse to show me if there is something hiding the navigation bar, the whole page including the navigation bar seems to be one image. How do I fix this? I tried starting a new page, but have trouble formatting the columns properly again. HElp??? if you want to see what I'm talking about, its the Resume page that has the inactive nav bar, and the Resumee page that I can't format right... http://web.me.com/lauren.kelly

Just checked the Resume page and the entire page, except for the navbar is a link to download your resume as a Word document. The file didn't have an extension but I added the .doc extension and it opened in Pages as a Word document.
If you don't want the document to be downloaded check the page in iWeb to see if you see the hyperlink icon somewhere on the page. Select the object it's attached to and use the Inspector/Link/Hyperlink pane to remove it as a link.
The links in the navbar are working as they should. It's just the body of the page that has an "unwanted" (?) link.

Iphone 4s iOS 7.02 volume bar doesn't work.

My IPhone volume does not work without headphones. There is no volume bar in music and the volume buttons on the side do not increase the volume from zero.
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.02 till now. I reset it a lot of times with iTunes but doesn't work I cleant the dock connector some times it works but al lot of times I am listening music and it stops half way.
Ps. My English is not so good I am Dutch.

Need help manually adding music, side bar isn't working!!

Can someone help me?! I tried using the side bar to manually add music but when I went to drag and drop it isn't letting me. I even went through the tutorial and looked for "On this Ipod" > "Add to".. But there was NO "Add to". Someone help please!

holy crap, after 2 hours of trying to figure out why it wasn't working I had to have the "manually add songs" in ipod summary checked EVEN THOUGH music sync was unchecked. What kind of reasoning is this... -____-

Mail search bar doesn't work

The title tells it all: the Search feature in Mail doesn't work. I can see dozens of messages to a various people, but the Search feature doesn't find any of them. How can I fix this?

Progress bar doesn't work if enableRedraw is false? Script UI

I just noticed in Peter Kahrel's ScriptUI manual (version 2.0) this note:
"Note: in scripts that use progress bars, you cannot set
app.scriptPreferences.enableRedraw to false. If you do, the progress
bar doesn't display correctly. This is on Macs only."
Not having a Mac to test this on, I'm wondering what "doesn't display
correctly" actually involve?

My navigation bar doesn't work....

I've had my new website up for two weeks and its worked perfect but today after I uploaded my new content the navigation bar stopped working as did my hyperlinks....the page is at www.samgrittner.com ....please someone, anyone help me ASAP!!!

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If there is, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. I'm brand new here and apologize if I'm about to ask something that's been asked and answered a hundred times. I looked through the questions and found instances where navigation bars are missing once the site has been published, but my issue is different (though the solution may be the same - I don't know).
I just published my iWeb site (www.thewordwise.com) and found a couple issues (my site doesn't fill the screen, but I'll wank about that later). My navigation bar appears properly at the top, but does not work at all. Only the Welcome page is accessible.
In looking through the various missing navigation bar questions posed here, I would hazard a guess that not all of my pages have been properly uploaded to the hosting site I'm using (godaddy) and that the solution may be to use a third party FTP folder? This is unfortunately Greek to me.
Any assistance would be enormously appreciated. Thank you.

I think you'll find that your navigation menu is not working as your image is overlapping with it - The Word Wise image. An image only has to be overlapping a little and it will then not work. Move the image down so that it is clear of the nav menu and it should then work.
As for your site name - the second is your site name in iWeb - you named your site that and you can change it so that it is not as long - do this in iWeb and then republish your site.

Published navigation bar doesn't work- any suggestions greatly appreciated

As a recent purchaser of the software, I moved my whole blog to the site, impressed with its functionality and ease of use. To my dismay, the navigation bar when you visit the site on virtually every computer (especially PC’s) doesn’t seem to work. The first few pages are active but the last ones do not seem to have hyperlink activity- they do on some of the other pages but not from the landing site. Do you have any thoughts around how to rectify this? They are live in iWeb, but once I publish, they don’t work.

OK, first off, this image:

is somehow in the way of your nav bar. Select it in iWeb, "Send to back," and republish. Remember to clear your cache in your browser before you visit the page again.
2nd, PCs w/Internet Explorer aren't iWeb friendly, sometimes. Encourage your visitors to visit http://www.getfirefox.com

Do you have already visited more than one website in a tab if that happens?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hello everyone!
I have a problem with ReportViewer Print Button once web app is published on clients server - print button just isn't working. Little message is appearing in status bar in Internet Explorer "Done, but with errors on page". Everything is working swell in the development environment though. I wonder if it has something to do with the location of the app. It's not located in the default wwwroot location, but in special share on drive D and I had to reassign location of the button images to get them displayed, but no use - they don't work except for zoom option.
What is missing and how do I make it work?

It is a known bug in JSE8, caused by UML module.
UML overrides default IDE 'Save All' behavior to detect changes to the UML project in addition to the changes to opened documents in editors, but it has flaws in its logic. If a user does not use UML, does not create a UML project, the 'Save All' will be disabled forever, and turning off UML modules from option panel will result in disappearance of 'Save All' button altogether from Toolbar, #6327054.
The simplest workaround for those who don't use UML is to rename uml1 directory in installation location ( default C:\Program Files\Sun\jstudio_ent8\ide\uml1), re-start IDE with a new user dir. This way, UML module will not be loaded, the default 'Save All' will not be tampered.

FLVplayer Buffering bar doesn't work

I have used a standard flv player (actionscript 3) component,
standard skin, but when I add a buffering bar, the bar just runs
through the whole movie. When I set up an actionscript 2 file and
use the as2 components the buffer bar works as expected. Is the AS3
version broken?
