Side-by-side Problem

here is the problem:

Everytime i start it, tried re-install it, tried install vc++ redists from 2005 to newest 2010..
It happend once i restarted it without doing anything special

They must be temporary as you have apparently accessed them without trouble.

"Application is bound to side-by-side" problem

Hello,
I have been working on an application for several months now. I started developing for Air 1.5 and when the 2.0 beta came out I downloaded the SDK and updated my application's namespace and it worked fine.
Now that the official 2.0 version is released and the "2.0beta2" namespace is not supported anymore my application wouldn't install, or even run when I installed the new AIR runtime.
I downloaded the updated SDK, replaced the old one (I'm using Flash CS4 to package and build the application), changed the namespace to "2.0" and re-exported my application.
It installed with no problems and I can run it perfectly on the computer I am developing from. However if I try to install the exact same .air file on any other machine (Windows or Mac) i get the classic: "The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged."

I am packaging and exporting the application from Flash CS4, and I did changed the SDK when the beta came out, but I overlay it with the new one already (before if wouldn't even let me export).

why is "application is bound to this version of the runtime". Is there something I haven't done on the Flash CS4 folder?

Oracle SID Problems with numbers

Hi everybody,
I created a new database (ORACLE 10g) with the SID name IC71 and the same global database name. After finishing the configuration and starting the database everything worked fine.
Now I installed the Oracle Client on another server machine. I made an entry in the tnsnames.ora with the Servicename IC71 and it worked. The problem now is, that I have to give the SID instead of the Servicename for installing some software. With the SID IC71 it does not work, after I changed the SID to IC it works.
Can someone explain me this strange settings? Has Oracle problems with numbers in the SID name?

SID Problem : could not register two ABAP systems with same SID

Dear Expert:
We have to register two ABAP systems on different host to SLD, and these two systems have same SID.
We use rz70 to do this, but we found the lastest registration will overwrite the previous registration,
that
means we could register them both in the same SLD. (we checked this in Technical system area).
How could we do this? It makes us crazy........

not apply this for other systems.

SID problem in Master data

Hi All,
I have deleted Master Data records from the table and SID also deleted from SID table.But now my report giveing error message SID are missing from Master data object.
How i can resolve this issue..
another Issue : I have deleted the 4 records form Master table and SID table but that records are appearing in report ?

Hi,
Issue 1. Run th program RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL in SE38. Give the master data name and execute.
Issue 2. After deleting the records try to run the attribute change run for that object once and try. If they are still appearing in the reports means they are already there in the aggregates. If you dont want those records not to appear in the report, you have to delete that request and reload the data and activate the aggregates.

Oracle SID Problem

I have installed Oracle 10g on windows 2003 with sid ora10. I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it. When i choose the same sid it told me that already exists. Any feedback how this resolved. I have to have this sid due to application issues.

You have to delete the Windows Service with oradim :
oradim -DELETE -SID Claim (where claim is the SID)
Delete oracle service in regedit. Then recreate it.
You can also view Doc ID 688544.994 on Oracle Metalink.
I think same applies in Oracle 10g.

SID problem

I un-installed Oracle 9i because of some reasons. During re-installation it asks for Global Database Name/SID Name. When I enter a GLOBAL DATABASE NAME, it displays message:
This SID already exists.
Though I un-installed Oracle and even removed its old directory, why it is asking this. Where it has stored my old SID name. Is there any way to delete the old SID name if accidentally it may be existing anywhere.

First you need to remove Oracle registry. go to regedit and remove this
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHNIE\SYSTEM\CONTROLSET001\SERVICES\ remove anything related to Oracle on this key
do it as well on CONTROLSET002 and CURRENTCONTROLSET
then remove Oracle Key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE
after registry clean up then you need to delete C:\Program Files\Oracle folder and don't forget to remove any temporay installation files under C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR USER>\Local Settings\Temp

Servlet side problem

hi there,
i have managed to get my mipd program talking 2 a tomcat server, but i have run into the following problem:
the servlet has at initiation a buffer called int l = 0; and increment the l value by 1 , this is fine but when i get another phone 2 connect to the server, i want the value of l to increment to 2, instead the value resets to 0 and then increments by 1 giving me the final value of 1 yet again on the second phone

Listener or SID Problem!!!

I installed an Enterprise Edition of Oracle 8i in my Windows XP machine, and the installation was successfull.But whenever, I try to login with "scott" and "tiger" password,the oracle is shutdown and doesn't log me into the SQL prompt.What is this problem?I have tried to startup the account by logging into internal oracle system account,,,,,,but the error says that I have already started up the database and need to shutdown first to startup again.What is this problem??? I would be glad if you could help me!!!

Powerbook battery recall side problem

How old is your battery, if it is a few years old then it could by time to replace it. If the update was not designed for your PowerBook then in most cases it wouldn't install.

Webutil client side problem it runs well on the server side in a browser

The TNSNAME.ora that the OBIEE11g uses is insede the folder <OBIEE11g_HOME>\Middleware_Home\Oracle_BI1\network\admin

FYI: OTN Message:
1. If you just need one TNS alias, then copy the database connection descriptor from database tnsnames.ora file to the tnsnames.ora file under the BIEE directory:
[middleware home]/[oracle home]/Oracle_BI1/network/admin
2. You may also copy the entire tnsnames.ora file
3. Another alternative is to set the TNS_ADMIN environment varaible which would point to the directory where a tnsnames.ora file is located. This would need to be set as a System Environment variable in Windows or in the command shell if starting from a command-line. For Unix/Linux, it would need to configured in the user profile that owns the software or set explicitly in the shell if starting from the command-line. See Note 111942.1 Setting TNS_ADMIN Environment Variable for more information on adding this environment variable.

AEBS Loose IP on WAN side (dhcp)

Hi'
I Have an airport extreme base station, after I upgraded to 7.5.2 my WAN IP loses within a week or so, the wan side, uses dhcp
when I checks the wan ip, the address is a 169.254.x.x address, if I release/renew the interface, it still gets the 169.254 address.
after power cycle it works again, for ca. a week (I belive around the dhcp expire time)
After downgrade to 7.5.1 there are no problems, anyone got a clue ?
- I can read a-lot got LAN side problems, but it is realy a WAN side problem

Well there should not be any issues in assigning private wan ip address for BEFSR41 and WRK54G both, but you are facing issue in doing that for BEFSR41, try flashing latest available firmware on BEFSR41. You can get from www.linksys.com/download

The error does not look like a webutil client side problem - it looks more like a server side issue - perhaps the runtime not being able to find the webutil.pll.
Check your FORMS90_PATH in the webutil.env file and make sure it's not too long (>255 chars) if it is split it and use ORACLE_PATH as well.
