Found the Solution to my problem. Just had to put cursor on the corners of the open window and "stretch" the window to the left, to the right, then up only to the point of the screen where the "Menu" is still visible. This solved the problem I had. Thanks.

How can I see more than 6 all day events in the week view without scrolling? I need to see all of my all day events at once. I use this for scheduling and comparing of # invoices. Going back and forth to scroll is cumbersome. I just want to be able to expand the top section so I can see everything at once.

Apple Mail inbox "all" selected can't unselect. Tried quiting; tried restarting. Mail freezes then unfreezes. When going to View and clicking on Select, nothing opens, freezes. After 30 seconds, it opens up, everything in the inbox remains selected.

Try force quitting the Mail app:
Option+Command+Esc, then select Mail from the list. See if that helps.

How can I automatically connect to the server without having to type the password and click "connect"?

I have a Mac OS X 10.8 and a Time Capsule configurated as server with a name "Servidor" on my home. The discs are protected by Accounts, so, each person can access the server by typing own name and password. The problem is... Every time I start the computer, I see the window below:
So, every time I start I have to type my name and pass. And the box "Remember this password on my keychain" doesn't work because the "Password" is always blank when I see the window, like the image up.
Please, someone help me to automatize it so I don't need to type nothing to connect to the server. I want something that do it automatically for me.
NOTE: Please, explain clear and with details because I'm a new Mac's user.

Try running KeyChain First Aid if you have not already done so.
Open Keychain Access and click on the KeyChain Access menu at upper left of the screen
Click KeyChain First Aid, then close KeyChain Access
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Network
Click on AirPort or WiFi on the left
Click Advanced at the lower right
Click to highlight an old network that you no longer need, then click the - (minus) button to delete the listing
Do the same for other neworks that you no longer need
Make sure there is a check mark in the box that reads "Remember networks this computer has joined"
No other boxes should be checked.
Click OK, then click Apply
That is about all that you can do.

How can I make some pages in a PDF display in single-page view and others in two-page (facing) view?

Exactly as it says on the tin. I am looking to save a PDF magazine/book layout in such a way so that when opened, only the front and back covers open to the viewer in single-page mode, and the rest of the pages in two-page facing mode, without re-printing the in-between pages in booklet format and re-inserting them into a new PDF (with the front and back covers left separate and untouched, and included as single portrait-orientation pages). This is so that individual pages can still be printed (on a physical printer, not a "virtual" one like a PDF driver), as-is without having the page next to it included, or the printouts always requiring landscape orientation (resulting with two "pages" from the PDF showing up on one sheet of paper).
So when the PDF is opened, I want just the front and back cover to be auto-viewed by themselves, and the content (the "meat" of the document) viewed side-by-side, as though one were actually reading a "book" -- but without actually re-doing the content pages to be "fused" side-by-side. Thus creating the "illusion" that they are, in fact, in booklet form. Is this possible, to have different page-display settings for different pages/page ranges in a single PDF? If so, how is this done? If not, what would be my best course of action otherwise to achieve this "virtual" book layout, while still retaining the "physical" structure of the document and allowing individual pages to be printed by themselves rather than "fused" together?

Actual problem:
I reinstalled all my programs that I need without a hitch. Meanwhile, I've been trying to recover the few files (mostly music) I actually store on my computer's hard drive as opposed to on my external HDs. I use one external HD for my graphic files and the other is strictly for Time Machine backups. I tried to recover my iTunes music, but I got a message that says: "The file: "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes." I restored (I thought) my iTunes library Username/Music/iTunes." Additionally, I was going to upgrade to Mountain Lion, but I have seen that there were issues with Lion and iTunes libraries so I'm a little wary of this.
Excuse the long explanation, but I figure the problem may possibly be in the details of the weeks prior this problem:
I have recently been having issues with my iMac. I brought it in to see a Genius twice within the past month and they couldn't seem to find the problem. (It would restart Finder of it's own accord while I was using Adobe CS programs) I figured it was worth backing everything up via Time Machine and doing a complete erase/install/factory reset. I did so and had a problem again, and brought it in again, third time. The Genius did another diagnostics tests and found nothing and said my erase/install probably did the trick, but time will tell. I am, after the erase/rewrite and upgrade running Mac OS X 10.6.3 and previous to this was still running Tiger.

So, I didn't update iTunes and the rest of it after installing Snow Leopard. My stupidity, I figured that the OS was more up to date than the one I had previously so that all the programs that come with it probably were more current than the ones I was using. However, now that I have updated all my software, I am still getting the same message from iTunes that I was previously. I cannot open iTunes at all, same "The file: "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes." message. I'm confused again. Checked a few other threads and whatnot and cannot seem to figure this out.

The headings under Tools are: "Pages", "Content", "Forms", "Recognize Text", "Protection", and "Sign & Certify". There's also a little icon in the upper right that lets me access some other headings under the Tools menu; those are: "Document Processing", "JavaScript", "Accessibility", and "Analyze".
I did think about the idea that maybe the Content Editing was a new feature of Acrobat XI, but I found some resources online (http://www.wikihow.com/Edit-Text-in-Adobe-Acrobat) that seem to indicate this was a feature on much earlier version (the link references Acrobat 8 at the bottom).

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, big mistake, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to buy a 3rd party program to get any other music off of the iphone ( not supported by Apple).
When you sync the iphone, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer.

How can I keep my child from UNBLOCKING contacts or numbers I have blocked? I know in restrictions when you disable account changes at least on ios 6,this greyed out the iMessage button so the kids couldn't deactivate their text feature.

Here's the issue. Kids got themselves into some trouble on iPods. We set all restrictions any turned off iMessage etc, which I noticed they can't turn back on bc it's gray with the don't allow account changes set. BUT, it still allows Wi-Fi to be turned on and off! On vacation she entered the wi fi code of our condo and so I did forget network, which didn't work and wi fi kept connecting anyway wo requiring password again! HELP! TeresaBoo, I empathize with your dilemma and have a similar problem. I'm trying desperately to keep my teenage daughter away from a controlling and abusive boyfriend. Of course, she is in denial and thinks it's love. Sure, I can block text messages through our wireless provider, but iMessages run on an independent network. I can block a phone number from iMessaging on her phone, but she can unblock it just as easily. I wish there was some way for parents to create a password to protect settings. Don't let negative comments get you down. Honestly, if someone can't relate to your question or offer help, why are they even bothering to comment??

I spend most of the day on my iMac, with Apple Mail open. Over a few hours, I get dozens or more emails. I deal with them on my Mac as they come in or I have time. Now the same emails also show up on my iPhone and iPad. How can I keep from having the emails sent to my iPhone and iPad when I have mail open on my iMac? It used to be that when my iMac was open and mail on, I couldn't get mail on my iPhone, which is just what I wanted.
I've messed around with mail preferences, but maybe don't know what to set. (I know I can inactivate my account on the iPhone and iPad, but don't always remember to do that.)

You need to set up a separate iCloud account for each person that does not want to share their iCloud data. Yes, I was referring to the iTunes ID not needing to be the same as the ID used for iCloud. In order to set up an Apple ID your children will need to have a valid email address that can be verified by Apple. Apple requires this so they have a way of contacting the owner if there is a problem with the account, such as when you may need to reset the password on the account. When you set up the ID, Apple will send a verification email to this email account and you will need to click on the verificating link in the email to complete the process. If they don't currently have an email account you can just set one up with gmail or another free email hosting service. They don't have to use the account but you will need it to set up the ID.

Now I am back on my Mac. I meant the following: Batch Change the date for a large range of photos, that should have a date stepped in increments.
Select all Photos at once and use the command "Photos > Batch Change".
Then set the date for the first photo and select an increment, e.g. one minute.
Now all photos will get a new date assigned, incremented by one minute, in the sequence you have selected. So you will be able to sort them by date. This way it will be unnecessary to change the titles or filenames.
