Siebel Analytics:Java host is not getting started
Hi All,
I had a problem on java host service, when i start this service,it shows a message called
"the oracle java host service on local computer started and then stopped.some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.".so someone help me to solve this problem"

Are there any other installations that you might have done recently? Please make sure the environment parameter/variable is set to the right path with no spaces.

We are upgrading our BW Java from 7.0 to 7.4 SPS 07 and are in now in Execution Phase.
Java system is not getting started.
An error has occurred during the execution of the Start Java step.

In error logs

Please check if the instance exists in the system instance list with number 4 and <hostname>.
sapcontrol -nr 04 -function GetSystemInstanceList
If so, add SAPLOCALHOST and SAPLOCALHOSTFULL parameters to the following Java and SCS instance parameter files.
Java instance parameter file: /SUM/sdt/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_JC04_<hostname>
SCS instance parameter file: /SUM/sdt/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_SCSXX_<hostname>
After adding the parameters, restart the sapstartsrv services for both of the above instances:
sapcontrol -nr 04 -function RestartService
sapcontrol -nr XX -function RestartService
Repeat the failed step.

Hi Experts,
After System copy we are not able to start the java instance of SAP BW Java Instance of 7.0.Though Dispatcher is getting started but server 0 is not getting started.Sending you the jcontrol & dev_w0 error.We are using sql server 2008 & win 2008.

Java engine (server0 process) not getting started.

J2EE Server is not getting started exit code -11113
Hi,
J2EE Server is not getting started, the exit code is -11113. When I tried to start J2EE Enginer Visual Administrator its giving below error.
Unable to lookup connection default.
https://SAPXI:8101/msgserver/text/logon returned empty list of connection parameters.

Do you mean that the web dispatcher is not running or the J2EE dispatcher process. To me it looks more like that the J2EE dispatcher is stopped so you should look for errors in dev_dispatcher and std_dispatcher.out files.

I am new to SAP. I installed SAP ECC6 EHP4 with default kernel version 701 and it was working fine.
I have upgraded kernel version from 701 to 741, but the “disp+work” process is not getting started after kernel upgrade.

ORACLESERVICESID is not getting started
Hi Support Team,
Here iam in desperate need of an instant support from your side. We have installed SAP BI 7.0 on Windows 2003 server with oracle 10g as a database.My Server is not getting started as i found that my ORACLESERVICESID is not in started mode.When iam trying to start the sevice manually it gives an error saying that " Error 1053 : The service did not respond to the start or control request in timeley fashion".
When iam trying to connect to the database, it gives me an error " ERROR:
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error." .
I have checked the notes no : 441518.We tried re-creating the service again but that too cannot make the server up.
Kindly assist us in relsoving this issue as it is of Very high priority here.

J2EE application not getting started.

I have depoyed my J2EE application successfully but it is not getting started, below is the log trace that is being shown.

We have written a server which acts as a service in Microsoft Windows 2000 in java. For that we also wrote a monitor which keeps connecting to server and tries to restart the service through net stat startserver command if the server stops. This entire process works fine on Windows XP but the monitor is not getting started on Windows 2000. It attempts to execute a Batch FIle with some parameters to start the monitor. Is there any bug in windows 2000 and with java which is not letting my monitor to start ? Anyone please advice me......Did you try looking with the event viewer if there's a message that says why your service wasn't started?
Under what account are you starting the service? Does that account have access to the files and directories that the service needs? It might be a problem of access rights.
Problems like this are almost always the user's fault and not a bug in the operating system, but people always start with assuming that they're doing everything right so that it must be a bug.... -

32-bit Windows Error: 1004: Unknown error
Can someone please tell me what could be wrong and how should I fix this problem.

Is the host for the database using DHCP? If so, is it possible the DHCP address has changed?
Have any Windows patches been applied? Security (permissions to run jobs, etc) sometimes get changed behind the scenes.
Steps I would start with: get host IP address details, then dump the listener.ora file being used and look in the logs of the listener.
