Siebel eService - license error in Home Page View

We installed Siebel CRM v8.0
When we try to log on to eService, get the following error:
View 'Home Page View (eService)' is not licensed for this site.(SBL-DAT-00327)
Any help on this error is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

There are at least two possibilities.
1) You have not added the right licence keys!
=> Have a look here:
http://licensecodes.oracle.com/siebel_config_new_78.html
2) There is a Bug!
=> Go to Metalink 3 and search with the error number.

  • Home Page View does not appear in IE Browser History

Home Page Views in our High Interactivity FINS Application are not being added to the IE6 Browser History.
    Add to History = True
I am able to get it to appear in the history if I do About View...

    Try repairing IE: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378
You CAN'T download Flash Player ActiveX for Win 8 from here. There's a Windows Update KB patch that prevents it.

  • Start page lacks menu items - unlike "How to set the home page" view

I have just downloaded the beta of Firefox 4 and am attempting to reproduce opening home page from previous version. Directions on accomplishing this (loading the NY Times front page) depend on a menu bar with "File, Edit, View, History" etc. There are not visible. They are shown in the directions on Firefox Help but not on my computer. How to do this??

Click the Firefox button, then click Options. This will open the options dialog that the [[How to set the home page]] article refers to.
When viewing the support articles, in the right-hand column there is a section titled "Help With:", make sure it is set to Windows and Firefox 4 to get help relevant to the version you are using. In some articles you get different content when you select Firefox 4.

  • MSS - Home Page View

    Hi Experts,
We have are on EHP7 and using NWBC.
On MSS Home Page, it defaults manager's org unit and the org units which reports/belongs to Manager's Org Unit.
Data displayed on MSS Home Page also has employees details and as per our system, these employees or their org units has not relationship with Manager or Org Unit. Not sure, why it displays that data on here.
And if we go to Detail Team View, it displays correct employees who are belongs/reports to Manager. It doesn't display that incorrect data in Detailed Team View.
Not sure, what causing this issue.
Appreciate your feedback to resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    Ashish

And if we go to Detail Team View, it displays correct employees who are belongs/reports to Manager. It doesn't display that incorrect data in Detailed Team View

  • I can't see the Home Pages view when syncing my IPad Air with iTunes

I have transferred about 80 apps from my previous ipad2 by syncing the new iPad Air in iTunes (using the USB connection).  The Home Screens view in the Apps tab of iTunes does not show the individual pages, so I cannot regroup my Apps into logical groups.
There is a momentary flash on the screen showing what looks like a Home page, then it vanishes to show a blank view.
Both the iPad Air (64GB, wifi & cellular) and my copy of iTunes are up-to-date.

Interestingly this seems to have sorted itself.
When I was trying it yesterday, it was my first syncing of the new iPad Air, and the Home Pages were not visible in iTunes.
Today I reconnected and carried out an automated backup, then when I selected the Apps tab - there were all the Home Pages.
Not sure why this should happen, but - problem solved!

    Andre,
This is due to a documentation bug in the current release of .ComUnity (1.1c). We have updated the documentation (yet to be released however on OTN) and I have forwarded this to your email account.
The problem is due to the BC4J libraries being
    1) not the correct version in Oracle 8.1.7

    2) When the correct libraries are put in place the wrapper.classpath entries MUST be in the correct order and position in the jserv.properties file

  • Cannot View Database Home Page After Upgrading to XE 3.2 on Windows XP

    Hi all,
I have recently upgraded from APEX 3.1 to APEX 3.2 on my Oracle 10g XE database running on Windows XP SP3.
Unfortunately after successfully completing the upgrade and starting the services when I try and visit the Start -> All Programs -> Oracle Database 10g Express Edition -> Go To Oracle Database Home Page I am receiving a page cannot be found error (or broken link message, depending on the browser I try IE7, Firefox 3.0.10 or Chrome 2.0).
The link I am being directed to is:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex (I have an entry in my Hosts file referring this to localhost).
How can I tell if Port 8080 is still open and accessible? I am using the embedded web pl/sql gateway and tried reconfiguring it again by running apxconf.sql as SYS:

    Hello Roel,
Thank you taking the time to reply.
I had previously tried all those url combinations and still no luck.
I also found out about displaying the HTTP port number. And you were right it was listening on the default 8080. I disabled it and re-enabled it on port 9080 to see if that made a difference but it didn't so I decided to remoce Oracle XE database and go through the reinstallation and subsequent upgarde to APEX 3.2. Everything appera sto be working fime now.
One point of note is that if I view the Listener status now I notice another line from what I had previously referring to the HTTP listener, although my listener.ora file never changed (apart from having the TNS Listener port resuming to the default 1521).

    Hi All,
I am facing this peculiar issue.
Post installation of webcenter, I can access the Webcenter Spaces homepage.
I log into webcenter as admin and configure a Mail Connection. I start and stop the Webcenter Spaces deployment. Now I don't see the Webcenter spaces Home page.
    Error on page -

Do you have any space in jdeveloper workspace directory ?
i.e C:\Document and settings like path.
Also mention the default integrated domain's path.
If any space is present then create a new domain and workspace without containing any space and run your application.

    Hi hklbj23,
I'd like to know the version of TFS you're using. For your situation, you can delete the users in the group and then readd them to the group. After that, you can check if the users have access to the team project.
To make sure the permission of your credential, we can run tfssecurity command in VS command line to have a check. Please execute
tfssecurity /imx “domain\username” /collection:url, for more information about tfssecurity /imx, please refer to:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms400806.aspx
If you're using TFS 2012 Update2, then you can install the latest Update(4) to fix the issue. See the links below for more information about the similar problem:

  • I am getting an FTP error message when publishing, it goes okay until it reaches home page.  The home page does not appear correctly.  Any help greatly appreciated

I have a website using iweb and am having problems publishing.  When I try to publish it appears to be going through then stops at home page and I get an FTP error message.  I talked to my website host and they checked it from their end on two brosers and it is fine.  There suggestion was to contact this support group.  They thought it had something to do with iweb code writing.

What version of iWeb are you using?  What are you using to upload the site files to your FTP server?

What did they check?  Have you tried viewing your site that's online to see if the changes went thru?  Before you do so clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and then load the site.
