Siebel Marketing License Key

Helllo guys,
We are studying the idea of implementing Siebel Marketing. So I'm trying to find the license key for Siebel Marketing. I have found one link but its for Siebel Marketing Analytics and Marketing Planning Analytics Option. So my question is are these two enough to view all functionality of the Siebel Marketing screens? Or are there any more license keys to enter?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have changed the name from <AnalyticsServerName> to the hostname..logged in and out but the Marketing and Marketing Analytics screen is blank and in the corner of the internet browser it says "Error on page"

Hi,
If you're talking about a live environment, then you'll get the keys that you paid for through your Oracle Sales Manager or Technical Account Manager.
If you're talking about anything else, get your keys from here:
http://www.oracle.com/us/support/licensecodes/siebel/index.html
Note that if you're talking about a real live environment, you need to pay Oracle - there are no two ways about it. If you try to use demo keys in a live environment, that's a bad, bad thing.

License Key Error

Trying to enter the new license key to Siebel Tools I’ve got this mistake:
"You are not currently licensed to use Siebel Tools. (SBL-DEV-00133)"
There is no place to enter the license key any more, only this message.

I’m on Siebel 8.0 version. My connection goes via dedicated client with SADMIN password to my sample database.
When previous licenses have been expired I tried to enter the new license keys, but those was wrong ones – so now Siebel does not allow me to enter any keys, but usually Siebel has to ask for it.
My Site Map for Administration Application has only two options: Contact Us and Email Subjects.
I have License Keys option for my Local Database and Siebel Local works correctly for Siebel Tools and Application.
My Sample database shows the error "You are not currently licensed to use Siebel Tools. (SBL-DEV-00133)" when I try to launch it.
Where could be the problem?

Need to download license key,Authorization error!

Background: We had taken 1 year Netweaver subscription which expired in november and later on, we renewed it for next year.
Problem: We have to download the license key form SAP market place. But after login, when I click on "Request permanent license key" link, it shows me 'Authorization Error!
Currently you do not have authorization to use this function. To request the authorization, please contact one of the administrators at your company'
Can any body tell me what would be problem? Or what to do next?

Hi Chandan Mahajan,
Even though you have valid OSS ID, access in SMP, You need need necessary Authorizaiton to request License keys not all users by default can request it.
Gain the required authorizations and then request license keys.
To know who can give acess:
Goto -> SMP -> MyProfile -> Display my Super-administrators -> One of those admin should be able to grant the required acess.

Not show anythings in tab License Key in Central Management Console

Dear All !
I have a DVD SAP Business Objects Edge Standard XI 3.1 include
BOE Standard XI 3.1 and Add on Sap_Integration, PeopleSoft_Integration, JDE_Integration and EBS_Integration
I have a temporary License Key Code which downloaded on Sap Market Place
the frist, i install BOE Standard XI 3.1 with a temporary key and when process finish, I login Central Management Console through web Tomcat below
http://<IP of server>:8080/CmcApp
I choose tab License Keys and I see a temporary license key
and then, I install Sap_Integration with a temporary key and when process finish, I login CMC through web Tomcat above, I choose tab License Key but not show anythings, just a blank page
And now, i want to upgrade with a permanent license but i can't because i don't see anything in tab License Key

Dear Sir:
I had installed the IDES mySAP ERP 2005, and willing to request a license key from the SAP web page,
but on the step 1 "Select Installation ", there is no ECC6 relative could be choose.
My question is if the installation should be registered by SAP? or should I do something else?
Sincerly need your help.
The information about installed machine is listed below:
Operating System: Windows Server 2003 with service pack 2
Database: Oracle 10g release 2
SAP product: IDES mySAP ERP 2005
Active Hardware Key is R0558308287
We also have an installed Solution Manager system for generating the install key.

Hello Frank,
The first thing to do is make sure that you have an installation number for an ECC 6 system. If you have an installation number for this already then you can request a license for this system under this instalation number on the sap service market place.

However you have said that your previous system was IDES mySAP ERP 2005. If so it is unlikely that the installation number you have for this system is valid for the license for the new system. In this case you need to contact your local contracts department and request the appropriate installation number.
Once you have the installation number you can request the license at the site above. Requesting a license is a self service on the market place.

Error when installing new license key

Hi, I am trying to install the license key for the Netweaver 7.01 Basis Test system with saplicense -install ifile=NSP.txt and am getting the following error message:
SAPLICENSE (Release 701) ERROR ***
 ERROR: Can not set DbSl trace function
 DETAILS: DbSlControl(DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNC_SET) failed with return code 20
 dbms_type = <db-type> (e.g. ora)
 DIR_LIBRARY = <path to db-dll> (e.g. usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run)

Have you got the SAP License key by providing its relative proper Hardware key ? if its required get a new SAP License key again with its relative hardware key at SAP Service Market Place, , and apply it again by login with sap* user in client.
The variables DIR_LIBRARY & dbms_type are set correctly for the user Under which you are installing SAP license?
Have you tried the same activity with new Saplicense executable for 701 release ? Download new saplicense from SMP and try again.
Also do this at last.... Set your system date back to a date when the sap license was valid.... then reStart the system, log on to SAP client, go to transactoin SLICENSE, apply the new license using license file, verify the license application & then log off, change system date back to current date, and re-start sap system. The same activity you can do at command level also.

Sap license keys for Test Landscape

Hi,
Sap R/3 Enterprise - 4.70
We have created a test Sap Landscape for testing Backup & Recovery. We are experiencing licensing issue when trying to log onto the test Landscape because the hardware key has changed.
We have raised calls with Sap, but as yet have not provided a working solution.
What would happen if I generated a new license on Sap Market Place for the test hardware as a temporary Measure?
Would it cause problems with our Production systems, because the license key on Sap Market place would not match the one installed on our productiion system?

Thanks for your advise, but my Sid is the same. We have build a full test landscape, on a different network. I have tried to create a new license on Sap Market place, but this is not possible. I have rang the Sap Help desk - only to be told that I must create a customer message, which I have, but after 3 weeks of trying they still have not found a solution.
I was just wondering what problems I would have if I changed my Live details on Sap marketplace to the test machine details - just so that I can generate a new license key, and then change it back. Don't know what implications this would have?

Siebel Marketing/OBIEE and cache tables

Could someone explain to me the mechanism of the cache tables on OBIEE/SIEBEL Marketing.
For example, the MC_ASSET_MK table contains two columns GUID and QUALIFIED_ID. I understand the meaning of the QUALIFIED_ID column. But what is the meaning of the GUID column. Is it a foreign key to another table ? Which table ?
What is the difference between the two tables MC_ASSET_MK and MC_ASSET_SR ?

Solution manager license key generation

Hi All,
I have one solution manager server with AS ABAP and AS JAVA.But the license is expired for the J2ee engine.
I want to generate the license key for that, but the issue is the solution manager installation is not registered in the service market place, so how i will generate the license key?
In the process of license generation, I need to select the system for which i want to generate a permanet license.But the system is not available at the service market place.
To generate the license key the installation and the SYSTEMSID should be available at the service market place which is ususally done by a solution manager but how to do all these for a solution manager.

To get a license key for your Solution Manager system just go to:
https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/licensekey
Select the appropriate installation number and create a new system (your solman SID). After that you are able to request a valid license for your installation.
A separate J2EE license is not necessary for a Java AddIn/Double Stack Installation.

10g license key

Hi Group,
I download oracle 10g from the oracle site. when I connected to the oracle by using siebel server then it's giving the following error
There is no valid license key in the database
if I press ok
then it's asking for please enter your license key
Please help to get the license key(trial version also ok)..

Oracle database does not use a license key. None. Zip. Nada. Zilch.
You may be getting that question from the Siebel side, and it may be saying that it can not find any appropriate key to run Siebel in the target database
You might want to ask in a Siebel forum.

Installing the License Key for Solution Manager installation

Hi,
Any Idea how can I get License Key for solution manager installation? Solution manager installation do not requires a key of Solution Manager.
When I want to download a new license file form the SAP market place.SAP I ask for a key of Solution Manager.

I guess it is hardware key. Go to the Tcode slicense and there you will be able to find out the active hardware key. Take it!!

Kernel upgrade error:The license key library has not been initialized yet.

We have updated the Solution manager with EHP1 kernel with latest patch55. 
Operating system platform:OS/400. 
We are getting error :The license key library has not been initialized yet. 
We have gone through Note 982056(The license key library has not been 
initialized yet) but after application restart we still are facing problem. 
Also with old kernel(Patch 32) our system is working fine. 
For SAP Router we need to do the kernel Upgrade.

The following changes are made: 
In the instance profile,
as4/ADDLIBPATH = /usr/sap/... is added.

ssf/ssfapi_lib=<SAP Cryptographic software directory>/libsapcrypto.o 
sec/libsapsecu=<SAP Cryptographic software directory>/libsapcrypto.o 
I am facing similar error with directory run_sec
Error log:
