Siebel Sample Data base for OBIA

Hi
Can Siebel Sample DB which is in SQL Anywhere be treated as OLTP Source and can it be used to load warehouse tables for demo purposes.
In DAC i only see support for Teardata DB2 and SQL server.

SQL server as data source for OBI EE : Urgent

hi everyone,i have been using OBI EE for the past 2 months.I have been using Oracle 10g database as a data source for OBI EE and it worked just fine and now im trying to use SQL server 2005 as my data source.
My ODBC was succesful and i can import from that database but i get following errors when i try to update row count.
There was an error while updating row count for "test"."AdventureWorks"."HumanResources"."Departme nt":

With Sql Server I have always problems with security
Check this first and then continue..
1.your odbc connection
2.in the administrator--> connection pool you have assign the appropriate values for sql -server(check all the options)
and check the option -->fully qualified table name

Sample Data Files for P Card Testing

Is there a utility available that can be used to easily create sample data files for use when testing P Card functionality? We will be using the USBank/Visa file format. Generating enough sample data is time consuming especially in the volumes we need.

the plan is to cover all the training materials.. BPC420, 430,440 in next 2-3 weeks if possible. Though Immediate need is to learn planning .
Looking at SAP training support files (I have course material) or any complete case study data which I can do from scratch.. I have just been doing it for 3-4 days.. already understand the basic stuff.. Pretty comfortable with SAP ECC & BW (both technical and function stuff)..

Error opening data base for the library for Aperture

Hello,
I have been using Aperture all day and for some reason am now getting this error message when trying to open it again.
Te was an error opening the data base for the library "users/*******/pictures/aperture3triallibrary.aplibrary
Has this happened for anyone else?

When I hold down ⌘⌥ firmly, at the same time, and with these keys held down double click the Aperture library that I want to repair, I get this panel:
Then, when I select "Repair" Aperture will show a progress bar and the Dock icon will stay highlighted.
When it is finished, the Aperture window will open.
When I select repair, it seems as though it doesn't run. I don't get a dialog box to confirm it's happening and on the dock the little light under the Aperture icon isn't lit, which seems it is'nt open or running.
After you select "Repair", does the panel close and then nothing? Or does the panel not react?
I still don't see fully, what is going on on your mac.
But it is a good sign, that you can create a new library. That suggests, that Aperture is running correctly on your mac, and "only" your old library has a problem. Try to test the new library - import a few images and try to adjust them.
Once you are convinced, that the new library is working well, you have three options.
Try "Rebuild" instead of "Repair".
Or try to import your old library into the new library (Aperture's main menu bar > File >Import > Library) - that is another approach to rebuilsd the library.
Or restore from backup. To restore from Time Machine, open a Finder Window showing your Aperture library, and then enter Time Machine. Go back in time to the most recent date that has a working Aperture library and select "Restore". If you have enough space on your disk, restore to a different folder and don't overwrite your current library.

Can't open aperture 3, warning box comes up," warning there was an error opening the data base for the library /pictures/aperture library .aplibrary Whats up?

I have had Aperture 3 loaded on my computer for a while now. Never had any problems till tonight. Restarted my computer and went to open Aperture and a "warning" box poped up, There was an error opening the data base for the library /picture/aperture library ap library. Then a "quit" button.
What is going on and how can I open my aperture. I have pictures that need worked for clients. Help!

Have you run through the steps in Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics. If not that's always a good place to start.
If that doesn;t resolve the problem when you post back describe your hardware and software setup.

You’re running an outdated copy of Safari on your Desktop. That won’t work.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. Check that the Safari application is in that folder. If it is, use it, and delete the copy on your Desktop. Never move or copy built-in applications.

Problem when saving the Data basis for the Consolidation

Hi Gurus,
I am having 2 problems.
1) When i try to execute the UCWB transaction . It gives an information message
" Data basis DB needs to be generated (after upgrade) . I am following the procedure given in that "Run maintenance of data basis DB in display mode. Go to the "Data Streams" tab page. Choose the "Generate" button.
If changes to Customizing settings are permitted in the current system or client, as an alternative you can maintain the data basis in change mode and save. In the case of systems supplied with Customizing transports, as an alternative you can generate the data basis in the source system and then transport it again.
Even after doing that procedure when i again execute the UCWB. it give me the same message.
2) when is try to save data basis for the consolidation . it give me this error message.
"Field 0HC_ATCCODE: This compound differs from that of basic field 0HC_MEDCTG"
I have checked the referenced Info objects . Checked the compound info objects. Activated them again. They dont differ in any way. but still i get this problem.
Please help me out. If someone has come across this error and solved. Please help me.

Hi satish,
I constantly receive the message like your #2 saying that it was a critical change in X infoobject. It's just a warning and I found several OSS notes saying that this message is not correct. Just ignore it.
In case of your Q #1. The data basis might be generated in two ways: by pressing Save icon and by clicking the Generate icon (the system refers just to this very option) and then - Save. The last way is used in Productive environment. Try it.

Error:Unable to determine data basis for virtual InfoCube.

Hi all,
 I am working on Virtual cubes. I have created a query on virtual cube which is getting loaded from a transaction cube. I am using a transaction cube which is a copy of standard cube 0BCS_C10 - Consolidation (Company/Profit Center). (Transaction cube).
When I execute the query in BEX it is disconnecting from the server and if I execute the same in transaction RSRT it is showing following errors.
1.Unable to determine data basis for virtual InfoCube.
2.Error reading the data of InfoProvider.
3.System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form RSRDR;SRRK0F30-01-

 Transaction cube contains data and characteristics of virtual cube are consistent.
 I am trying to see the contents of the virtual cube in transaction LISTCUBE, there also its showing same errors.
How can I proceed now?

User Preset Data Base for Logic Pro's instruments - Synths, etc

I realize Logic Pro 9 comes with more instrument presets than any one person can audition in a single day, or a week or month for that matter. But I am looking for the data base where other users have shared their own settings. Line 6 has one for Pod Farm and despite their 1000 presets, I found what other users did to be super amazing. Back to Logic Pro, I searched last year for a Theremin sample and someone created it in one of Logic's synths and posted it.
I can't imagine I'm the first person to ask this questions. I must not be searching correctly. Please help.

My requirement is to create "license revenue report through SAP Query with following fields:
VBAK:
Sales Document,Sales Doc type,net value of sales order in document,sales org,distribution channel,division,sales office,business area,customer purchase order number,customer purchase order date,sold to party.
VBAP:
Sales document item,target quantity in sales units,target quantity in UOM,usage indicator,billing block for item,business area,plant(own or external),
origin of bill of material,net price,SD document currency,material pricing pgroup,account assignment group for this material,activity type,personnel number.
VEDA:
contracts start date,contract end date,date on which contract is assigned.,installation date,agreement acceptance date
VBREVK:
clearing account for accrued revenues,clearing accountkey(offsetting account),total accrued value,currency key,amount in document currency,posting year and posting period.
VBREVE:
revenue amount,currency key,accrual period,company code,country of destination,profit center,posting year and posting period,amount in document currency,gl account,account for deferred revenue,account for non billed receivable
Is there any standard logical data base which gives all the required fields mentioned above? since i am not SD consultant i am not sure whether i have to take only above tables exactly or not
there are certain logical databases like SD_ORDER,SD_SALES_DOCUMENT which has tables VBAK,VBAP,VEDA but i am unable to join remaining tables VBREVE and VBREVK with those logical data bases
Please provide some valuable suggestions on this.

BPC 5 - Best practices - Sample data file for Legal Consolidation

Hi,
we are following the steps indicated in the SAP BPC Business Practice: http://help.sap.com/bp_bpcv151/html/bpc.htm
A Legal Consolidation prerequisit is to have the sample data file that we do not have: "Consolidation Finance Data.xls"
Does anybody have this file or know where to find it?

Excel hysteresis loop sample data needed for testing in LV

Im sorry if this is in the wrong board, but I didn't really know where else to put it. If someone has sample data for a hysteresis loop in excel or LVM format and could post it so I can test with it I would appreciate it greatly. Preferably a larger amount of sample points but I won't be picky.
