Sign in help

The sign in page tells me that I have 'signed out' and need to sign in when I enter my password. I changed passwords and the same thing happens. What is happening?

Having similar issues along with Acrobat is still closing for no reason after about 8 seconds, also when converting to PDF in Word 2013 I get error statement that Acrobat is not activated.
I spent 2 hours on the phone with Adobe "no speak english" support and no solution.
Im running Windows 7 with CC subscription.
Steps I have followed from Adobe that do not work:
First Try on support call:
Signout of CC
Delete OBEE
Delete Local and LowLocal Acrobat pref folders
Restart system
Opn PS CC and follow steps to activate/signin
Open Acrobat and see if it works. It does not.
Second try on support call:
Remove all of the CC apps
Run CC cleaner on all apps
Restart System
Install all CC apps
Open Acrobat and see if it works. It does not.
Third try on support call:
Delete Windows 7 user Admin account and create a new one
Go through all the steps above from second support try
Im thinking the only way to fix this well known and well documented bug is to start posting links to alternative PDF software solutions and maybe drop my companies 45 Acrobat licenses.

    Check that your email address is verified in Settings > Messages > Receive At.
    If Settings > Messages > Receive At shows your email status as "verifying," follow the instructions in the verification email that was sent to complete the process.
    Toggle iMessage off and on in Settings > Messages.

    a little background: we had an issue with our domain controller and had to flash a backup image that we took 2 weeks prior. after we got everything setup correctly again and added users that were not there when we took the image backup. it all seemed
    fine, until we had to add some new hires. now when I add new users and configure them correctly with in OCS and active directory the user cannot sign in. from what I have read it could be a replication error, but when I try to force replication it fails. as

    Depending on how you rolled back Active Directory, you may have entered a situation called "USN Rollback" where your rolled back DC stops replicating with the rest of the DC's in the infrastructure.
    This will cause issues like what you are experiencing, and much worse in the long term, such as machines getting dropped from the domain, and user password becoming inconsistent, since you're essentially maintaining two copies of your domain that cannot
    talk to each other...

    I'd recommend resolving the underlying AD issue by removing the restored DC from the infrastructure (you may have to force demote and remove metadata). Once AD is 100% functional then you can start troubleshooting OCS sign in issues, but my guess is they
    will resolve themselves once the restored DC is removed.

    Installing the appropriate combo update may help...
    If you are running v10..7 Lion, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
    For 10.6 Snow Leopard >  Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
    Then restart your Mac. Try the App Store.
    If that doesn't help, try the following..
    Quit the App Store if it's open.
    Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
    Type this exactly as you see it here:
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
    Click Go
    Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch the App Store and try downloading Mountain Lion.
    You may also need to disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall

    Several causes for this problem have been reported. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when it's resolved.
    Step 1
    Back up all data.
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
    If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.
    Step 2
    Rebuild the Spotlight index. If you try to search now from the magnifying-glass icon in the top right corner of the display, there will be an indication that indexing is in progress.
    Step 3
    Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

    If you have Intego VirusBarrier X6 installed
    1. Open /Applications/VirusBarrier X6.
    2. Click on the "Surf" button.
    3. Click on the "Ad Banner Filter" tab.
    4. Click "OFF" next to "Banner advertisement filter".
    5. Start the computer in Safe Boot, then restart the computer into normal mode.
    If don't not have Intego Virus Barrier installed
    1. Verify that the date and time is correct on the computer.
    2. Safe Boot once, then restart normally, then try downloading again.
    3. Try with a different user account if the issue persists
    If the issue persists
    Install Lion onto an empty partition (internal or external).
    Note: You can Use Disk Utility to live partition the internal drive and create a second partition large enough to install Lion.
    Start from the clean installation of Lion.
    Download Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store. Note that the original startup disk can be set as the destination for Mountain Lion during the installation process.

    I am trying to sign-up for student version of Creative Cloud. Do I really need to install all 16 apps? Why is it when I try to purchase the Creative Cloud, it wants a serial number? I thought the main idea of the cloud is that I didn't need to install all the apps.

    There are parts of Creative Cloud that are on the cloud, such as 20GB of online storage and sharing synced across your platforms and devices, as well as web hosting on 5 sites.  The subscription to Creative Cloud lets you download and install Adobe Creative Suite CS6 as well as Adobe Edge,  Muse and Lightroom.  While it's a lot to download, you won't have to be online to use the apps every day.

    Is there anywhere that definitively stated how to configure a jnlp to deploy an application that has to be signed and uses jars that are signed by a some other third party? This is routine for applete deployment, and I recognize how jws is an evolution of that engineering, however I am nonplused as to how to do it clearly. Thank you.

    And I have a test app that uses three signed jars. I have created three extension elements right under the <jar href="myjar1.jar"/> to refer to the three jnlp for the separate signed jars.
    The problem is I am getting the wrong error. It is saying my syntax is wrong with on my myjar1.jnlp file with the included extension elements. If I remove the extension elements, it proceeds to load and eventually dies when it calls for classes in one of those jars. I am "sure" the syntax of the extension element is right or at least as indicated in the link above. Even if I remove all but one of the extension elements, assuming some type of dtd nesting, it still fails the same way as when all three (n) are in. Can someone please help on this? I have no more resources or clues. tia.
