Sign In Not Working

I have purchased loads of music and audiobooks, the last on was in April...Now when I sign in, it flips me to the billing info screen, my info has not changes, I add in the security code, click done. When I go to buy again, the same thing happens. Any thoughts? Very frustrating...

I happen to still have IE 9 on my Windows 7 system (I am a dedicated Firefox user, don't use IE at all so haven't updated to 11), so I just started it up, and sure enough I was unable to log in. HOWEVER, when I started IE with all add-ons disabled, I was able to log in just fine - two step process.
So Holly, I think you have an IE add-on getting in the way of the Verizon Trending page, I have no clue which one, but try starting IE without add-ons and see if it works for you. If it does, then you can have fun trying to figure out which add-on is causing the problem, or you can just use a better browser all the time....
Edit: And yeah, using Compatibility does distort the page, unusable.

Saving "Sign in" not working in Firefox but okay using MS Explorer

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox? 
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page. 
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server. 
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you need to sign in once again.

Signed applet not working in firefox - java.security.AccessControlException

Hello,
I have a signed applet that works fine in IE 7 but in Firefox I'm getting this exception in the java console:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission myhost.com resolve)
I already tried to run the applet with different JRE versions in Firefox with the same result: 1.6.0_01, 1.6.0_02, 1.6.0_03, 1.6.0_05
I'll appreciate your help.

using the browser to view Applet is not recomended that is because if u change the the source-code and recompile the applet then run it using the broswer it will run the old-version

Right click for copy/paset on signed applet not working

I have an application which runs forms containing different controls like text fields, text areas etc. The forms are rendered in applets in Windowos 7. After upgrading to JRE1.7u45 the right click menu containing copy/paste options which used to appear when any right click done inside textfield or other control has disappeared except for textarea controls. Interestingly the right click is working inside TextArea but not in other controls.
My Applet is digitally signed(Verisign) and all permissions set. I have also tried accessClipboard permission in my .java.policy file to no avail.
My applet code is rather old. We tried to upgrade JDK to 1.7u45 to compile and sign the JAR but we got few errors so we used JDK 1.3 to compile the JAR and 1.7u45 to sign the JAR file. Can this be a cause for right click menu not working?
Please suggest/advise on this.

Sign IN Not Working & No Welcome Name

On the new Verizon Home Page, Verizon Fios Trending, the Sign In at the top of the page next to Welcome does not work on my Windows IE9 . I have to sign in by clicking on My Verizon and signing in on that page or by clicking on the email Sign In page. Also the Welcome-------- no longer shows my name. However, the Sign In on the Verizon Fios Home page on my Firefox and Google Chrome browsers do work. But they are both missing my name after the word Welcome.
Now I know why there was a notice on the Verizon Home page starting several weeks ago that there was a surprise coming. I can do without these kind of surprises. How many Verizon customers haven't as yet received their surprise????? IT"S COMING!!!!!!

InCommon Code Signing Cert not working in Profile Manager

We acquired a Code Signing Certificate from InCommon for signing profiles, and it doesn't want to work with Profile Manager.
In the Certificates section we have our working SSL cert for the web server, and self-signed SSL and Code Signing certs.
When I try to import the p7s file it lists four non-identity certificates and then says that it can't be used as a code signing certificate.
Has anyone ever managed to get an InCommon code signing cert to work with OSX Server?

ICloud sign-in not working

So I'm a litte stumped here with iCloud. (OSX Lion 10.7.2).
The first time (a few days ago) I decided to setup iCloud on my computer and it prompted me to sign in, but I chose the create a new @me.com account option. After completing the account creation I can't login to iCloud with the e-mail that I created.
When I put in my username and password in I get the "Merge Calendars and Contacts with iCloud" pop-up and I click "Merge" and nothing happens after that. I can however login with the same @me.com account on iTunes, the Mac App Store, on iCloud.com, **** I even signed in with it here at Apple discussions.
So essentially it works everywhere except when I try to login with it from my iCloud preference pane. Any idea what the problem could be? Is it something with my iOS or something else. Am I being forced to create a new account or is there something I can do to fix it, as I really want the e-mail I registered with the first time.
PS. iCloud works when I login on my Mac with other Apple IDs that I have except this one. AH.

Not sure in your situation. If the error you get is related to a "incorrect password" issue, I would suggest changing it using https://iforgot.apple.com . Before resetting it though, I would remove any saved passwords for icloud in the keychain to ensure there is no trace of the old password first.
If password errors is not your issue, I would strongly recommend calling Apple support.

Single Sign-on not working for me :(

I have set-up an OS X Server 10.5.4 Open Directory Master, Kerberos is running my Kerberos Realm: SERVER.MYDOMAIN.COM, DNS is running fine and everything is in-order as far as I can tell.
But the issue that is driving me crazy is that, When a user logs-in on their laptop and they go and click on the Server with AFP shares in Finder they get "Connection Failed" but they can login when they go under Go->Connect to Server->Login window pops-up they put their username and password they access the shares.
For Kerberos single sign-on do I have to do any other configurations that I have not run across in the documentation or discussions.

To do SSO the client computer must first find the right KDC (Key Distribution Center) to get the ticket from, login, get the ticket and then you (the computer) should be able to use that ticket to login to any kerberized service in the same realm, without having to authenticate again as long as the ticket is valid.
The question is: when do you get that ticket and where are you connecting from?
When connecting from outside of the LAN where the KDC is, you still need to find it, if using kerberos.
I suspect you (should) get the ticket when logging in locally using an OD server account.
Wheter the machine has to be bound to he OD I don't know but it seems logical to expect that if it works similiar as to how an AD works.
I'm not 100% sure about what is cached when using a portable account but as the default time a ticket is valid is 10 hours you'll need to reauthenticate when the time is up.
When logged in, if you open this application and don't quit it: /System/Library/CoreServices/Kerberos.app
it should get you a new ticket when the old one expires.
Also, using this application you should be able to get a ticket (before) trying to mount/use kerberized services (even if not using a OD server account locally or beeing bound to the OD) and not having to authenticate again — "manual SSO"?

Facetime Sign in not working...

Ok, i got my iPod in september, and set up facetime pretty quickly on both my mac and iPod, now after leaving my iPod off for a week or two, the ipod facetime app says

Ok, I fixed the Settings page, and made it so the ONLY thing wrong was that you could not sign in, it will not accept my password, follow these steps
1. Make sure iTunes is fully updates (>Software update...)
2. Sync your iPod, if it will not appear on iTunes, force restore it (comment for instructins)
3. Try again

Robohelp server sign in not working

Hi,
your Microsoft account (MSA) works as a your Skype account. Or rather: Your MSA is your Skype account So just make sure you click "Microsoft account" on the blue Skype sign in page and then enter your email and MSA password to sign in to Skype.
When you want to recover the password for this MSA you indeed need to take the recovery flow for your MSA and not a Skype one.

Blackberry id sign in not work but no error code

ok i wiped out my blackberry play book cuz it hadnt been working right and now i have to sign in with my id and its been trying to sing in for like 5min or so and its not giving me any error cod its just wont connet. its staying on the "loading" screen and it wont let me bypass the sign in to get in to my play book. so i cant ues it, HELP????

"Keep me signed in" Not Working in iCloud

When logging in to iCloud.com there is check box that allows the user to remain logged in for two weeks. This has worked fine in the past but stopped working a couple of days ago for me on various machine with various browsers. The persistent login works as long as the browner is running. However, after closing it, login is required the next time the site is accessed. I hadn't realized what a pain it is to have this feature removed if in fact that is what has happened. Is there perhaps a setting I am missing? Any wisdom welcome!

I have not solved this problem. However, it has gone away at least temporarily. I use a number of Safari extensions. I disabled all of them. After disabling them, I logged into iCloud (having to enter my password). Then I closed Safari and reopened it. I tried opening iCloud and my sign-in had been successfully preserved. So I figured that maybe one of my extensions was the culprit. So, I re-enabled all extensions one by one and found that my signed in status was preserved even after ALL of the extensions had been re-enabled.
I find this "success" unsatisfactory. If the problem had been traced to one of the extensions (which include Ghostery, Disconnect, The Tracktor, iTubeX and ClicktoPlugin ), I would have been pleased with the effort. But it appears that just toggling one or more of them brought success and I have a feeling that it will not last. Or it could be that the problem just resolved itself on Apple's side during the timeframe of my efforts at tracking it down. Also, I have had the same problems in Firefox and Chrome. So try toggling all of your extensions, but I suspect the problem lies elsewhere.

Windows CC Extensions Signed Toolkit Not Working

We are working on automating our extension building so we can package it into and installer. We found the CC Extensions Signing Toolkits downloads here:

The Mac version works on developer machines, but our bulid machines have an older version of OS X and are not supported, so we tried to used the Windows versions. We are unable to sign a package with this error:
C:\build\client_extension>ccextensionswin64.exe -sign .\ExtensionContent Panel.zxp cert.p12 '<password>'
Error - Failed to parse certificate. Signing failed. Check you're using PKCS12 format.
We are aslo unable to create a new key with the tool. When we try something like this:
ccextensionswin64.exe -selfSignedCert USA GA Turner BPS 'nit6#deg' cnncert.p12
The application just crashes. These failures were seen on Windows 7 with both the 32 and 64 bit tools.

I've tried to reproduce the behaviour you're seeing and it looks like there are a few things wrong.
Firstly, when signing your ZXP you don't necessarily need to use quotes around the P12 password - however, if you need to for escaping purposes, you should use double quotes.
The following gives me the same error you're seeing:
ccextensionswin64.exe -sign .\inputfolder outzxp.zxp ..\mycert.p12 'mypassword'
Error - Failed to parse certificate. Signing failed. Check you're using PKCS12 format.
But replacing the single quotes with double quotes as follows allows me to sign successfully:
ccextensionswin64.exe -sign .\inputfolder outzxp.zxp ..\mycert.p12 "mypassword"
Signed successfully
Secondly, regarding creating a self-signed certificate - I think the problem is that you're using a three letter country code, whereas it expects a two letter country code from this list:http://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-country-codes.htm (we'll need to add some error messaging around this in a future release). The following command works for me:
ccextensionswin64.exe -selfSignedCert US GA Turner BPS 'nit6#deg' cnncert.p12
