Sign in problem for iCloud on W7

I have not previous used the iCloud service, but have downloaded the "Control panel" for it. I am unable to sign-in using my iTunes login. I can find no way to create and iCloud login, or change my iTunes login in order to have access to iCloud. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

I keep getting sign in prompts for iCloud since I updated to Yosemite. I repeatedly get them for Face Time and iMessage also. Haven't found any way to stop them. I click cancel on every one and then they show up again about 5 seconds later. I finally have been simply putting the window at the bottom of the screen. What can I do to stop these password sign in request windows?

I'd love a solution to this, as well

Sign up again for iCloud

I just recieved an email asking for me to sign up again for iCoud and review my account information and my subscrioption would be extended until June 30th 2013 at5 no additional charge.
Is this another hoax???

Almost certainly, since iCloud is free (unless you have purchased extra storage). The giveaway is the email address - genuine messages come from [email protected]

The sign out button for iCloud is not clickable

I am trying to change the iCloud phone used for my girlfriend iPhone 5.
I created a new Apple ID for her phone, logged out of all possible places where the old one can be logged,
but when going on settings>>iCloud the sign out option is gray and can not be clicked.
I tried everything written in the forums, but still no success.
Can someone actually help me here, there is not Find my iPhone installed on the phone.
I updated today to the newest version.

So the idea is to back it up on my PC. Then delete everything, then if I restore it won't the iCloud be the same?
And can I ask you why does this have to be so hard to do? I have a new apple id, I have iCloud created for it, but can't use it on the phone.
I understand theft is a thing, but basically this phone has be used with just one number and it is the one my gf owns and pays each month.
I have bought every iPhone since 3gs, I even bought my mother one, I have two iPads, I have apple TV and I still can not understand why iTunes and this whole apple id iCloud thing can be such a mess.

I encountered one problem about the signed of vaule when running script.

I input the S001 with 100 LC and run the script as following scenario:
Scenario 1:
- include the TEST.LGF in the Default.LGF
- create the input schedule to input 100 at S001
I will get S002=100 and V001=100
Scenario 2:
- input the S001 = 100 into application first
- create datapackge to run the script TEST.LGF
- run the datapackage and verify "successful"
I will get the S002= -100 and V001= -100
Why did the same code got different signed ?
Is there any thing I missed ?
Please give me some advise.

You havent missed anything. The System behaves in the way you have mentioned.
The processing of the values are diffferent in Default Logic and while processing through Data Manager package.
The Default Logic works with the exact data what we have keyed and the script executed through DM Package considers the backend data as the keyed data and process on them.
In Default Logic i tried even by setting the scope using XDIM_MEMBERSET for the account without keying the value for accounts. Even in that case it works fine like if Source has +100 the dest also gets +100.
But incase through DM package the output am getting is for source value of +100, destination gets -100.
This is really strange and i haven't noticed this long time.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Just setting up iCloud on my iMac, my problem is when trying to sign out/off from iCloud it comes up with a verification code that is being sent to my land line, I'd changed the numbers in my Apple ID and they show as changed but the land line number stil

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.

I encountered a problem a few weeks ago which is a bit like yours. In my case my Apple ID stopped working after I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I finally found out it was because of the fact that my Apple ID has in fact been an alias within my much older MobileMe/iCloud account. And they weren't able to merge or reset the account at first. It took me a lot of mails and a few calls to get them to resetting the account and changing my Apple ID (for the Apple Store, iTunes, etc.) to a different, non-iCloud related email adress.
Anyway, maybe you can call the Apple Support and kindly ask them to reset the password for this ominous @me.com account so you can finally start using it.
Did you try logging into iCloud using your adress with the appendix @me.com because not everybody has got the @icloud.com ending yet. Technically it's no problem to create a new iCloud account. I can understand though that you'd like to get "your name" back .

Signed up for iCloud, but now no contacts on my iPhone (3G)

My aging iPhone 3G has really gone bonkers since I signed up for iCloud.
The main problem is that my Address Book doesn't sync - in fact it's been completely deleted from the iPhone, though it's fully intact on the iMac.
After noting its erasure, I restored the iPhone to its factory settings, but to no avail.
It doesn't make any difference whether I click the Contacts checkbox under Advanced or not - still no details.
Another bizarre observation - which may provide a clue - is that when opening iPhoto with the iPhone plugged in, it shows both the old (pre-restore) name and the new (post-restore) name, as if two iPhones were connected. This does not happen in iTunes, which only shows the new name.
Given my hopeless memory for phone numbers now (due in no small part to total lack of use), this iPhone has now been rendered useless for its primary function as a phone, except to call home - the only number I can remember! (What a chump I feel!)
Anyone have the same/similar problems, and have you managed to resolve them? Any sane help appreciated.

I have put a wrong Apple id for signing in for icloud (one word missing from my real id) on my iphone 5. Therefore, it was never verified and I cannot delete the account as well. Every time I switch on the phone it asks for the password. I tried to change the apple id but it didn't help. Still the icloud works with the wrong e-mail address. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thank you for answering my question. But the iphone does not allow me to delete the icloud account. It says it needs the password. I changed the password several times, it did not help. It doesn't accept the password as the icloud account is not verified.(How can it be verified as its the wrong e-mail address?) I tried to change apple Id but it didn't help as well. I simply have run out of options now.

Problem updating apps for OS5 due to switching apple ID name for icloud

I had to change my Apple ID name to be able to sign up for iCloud. Now when trying to update my iPhone/iPad apps for OS5, certain apps won't update because it's showing my old Apple ID associated with them. How do I change my ID associated with those apps? I'm signed into iTunes with my new ID and certain apps are being updated and show my new ID. Any suggestions.

I changed my Apple ID because I was having problems with the email address associated with it. Now I can't update any of the apps downloaded with the original ID. I can't get back to the original ID because it says it's locked for security reasons. How can I find out which apps were purchased with that ID? How can I keep from having to pay for them again-some were quite expensive? You can't talk to anyone on the phone to explain your frustration. HELP!!!

Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows: Problems with iCloud

I thought I'd share on this topic, which caused me a lot of grief before it was finally resolved. I'm running MS Office 2007 on my PC, under Vista.
Office kept crashing on going to File:Open or Save As - after downloading iCloud Control Panel. I tried uninstalling iCloud and iTunes, without benefit. I also checked for malware, ran Office Repair, re-installed Office etc etc. Finally I re-installed iTunes and iCloud Control Panel, and ran iCloud Control Panel, which I hadn't done the first time. I allowed it to integrate with just about everything, and after that Office was fine! There is now an iCloud icon at the bottom right of the screen, and a Photostream icon in the Office File Open/Save window. Outlook also has an iCloud section in the Toolbar. I had to run iCloud Control Panel for each logon user on my computer.
It appears that simply installing iCloud caused it to do something to Office, but this was incomplete and required that the program needed to be run in order to complete the process. May I suggest that Apple programmers take note?

Since posting the above, I found that the problem recurred. In desperation I purchased MS Office 2010, assuming it would cope with iCloud. Initially it was fine, but then the same thing happened! I signed out of iCloud, then signed back in and de-selected Outlook, Photostream and Bookmarks. This seems to have fixed the problem for now, but there does seem to be a problem with iCloud and Office.

You have to first create your account on an Apple device. You are getting this message because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC by signing with your Apple ID. You can only sign into an existing iCloud account on a PC. You first have to create your iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.
