I was signing in to the AppStore today, it told me to 'review' my acc to continue, and when I'm going to choose 'none' for the payment method, it only shows visa, aramex, and master card. Thus, I can't sign. How could this be? When I was creating the acc the payment method section shows those three options and none. Can anyone please figure out what's happening?I would really,really appreciate an advice. I'm dying for apps!!!

you have to enter your credit card details, or you can opt other methode of payment.
I'll ask you to get an itune from the market and enter that code there. It is safe and easy methode

If you have an account in the US app store, you can only use it if you are physically in the US.

If you really have a new MacBook, iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand come with the Mac for free.
As you see their price at the Mac App Store, it's clear that there's a problem with your MacBook. Simply return it if you purchased it less than 14 days ago and you will receive a new MacBook

Can't sign in to Appstore with Accounts restriction set to "Don't Allow Changes"

I am using iOS6 and have turned on the restrictions for Accounts. It should only affect Mail, Contacts, Calendars as stated from the phone itself:
"Disallowing changes prevents adding, removing, or modifying accounts in Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
In iOS5, this did not happen. I was able to sign in and out while the Mail, Contacts and Calendars were locked. Do I have to unlock the accounts all the time? I do not like that.

Cannot sign in to appstore: sign-in button doesn't work.

I can click the "Sign In" link/button all day and nothing happens. Tried reinstalling the entire app store with no luck.
Any ideas?

Given that I'm not an idiot, I already tried that.
I figured it out, though, Little Snitch was blocking it somehow even though I have it set to allow all connections from the App store.

I am getting iTunes "error 5002" when trying to sign in on my computer, and cannot sign into my account on my iPod. What's wrong?

When I try to sign in to my iTunes account on both my computer, an error pops up saying,
"We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occured (5002)
There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later."
When I trying signing into my account on my iPod, I get a message saying,
"Cannot connect to iTunes store"
I have seen across the internet that this has happened while trying to purchase things, but I can not even sign in!
I have also seen a case just like this, but many, many people were having that problem at the same time.
It seems like right now, only I am having this issue.
I can sign into my mother's iTunes account perfectly fine. ( I was using her account for a while, until I decided to switch to my own)
I have had an apple ID for a while now, but never have used it for iTunes.
I can sign into the "my apple id" website perfectly fine, just not iTunes on my iPod or computer!
I can not even sign into the appstore! (When trying to sign into the app store, it just says an unknown error occured, it doesn't say 5002)
What shall I do?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select
/var/log ▹ appstore.log
from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again.
Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

New ipad 2, unknow error occured when trying to sign into app store

I just bought this bad boy. I have an apple ID and when I try to download an app it says uknown error occurred. Also if I try to sign into the appstore through settings it says cannot access itunes i think. It does have internet connection.

Apple’s having trouble with the iTunes Store servers right now. Wait for them to resolve the issue.

AppStore Question - How do I re-install apps I already purchased.

I Just upgraded my blackberry and signed into the appstore so that I can download the apps I paid for; but so far nothing is showing up. When I search the individual apps, they seem to require a purchase to download.
How do I keep from paying twice for the app, how do I find a history of my purchase. Something tell that it may be better to go through a thirdparty such as handango,crackberry or whom ever keeps record.
It is ridiculous indeed, because the apps weren't cheap. Blackberry should keep a record in their apps or is there something I am doing wrong...

Can you download them again in the App Store or sync them again from iTunes on your computer? Are you using the correct Apple ID? Do you have restrictions enabled? ....
What can you not do? Provide some details as to what you have tried that did not work.

Why do I have to sign in every time use ibooks

Since the ios7 update, almost every time I use iBooks it prompts me to sign into my appstore account. This is new behavior and is aggrevating. Why is it necessary? Am I missing something?

Pretty sure it's a bug, same problem here. Only started after installing iOS7 7.0.2. It's only happening on my iPad though, not on the iPhone. However, the iPhone (which is logged into iCloud) is not syncing my progress from other devices.

Can't Update Apps from the Appstore

I have all the latest OS updates for my macbook pro and it seems like I can't update my apps that I have downloaded from the appstore. I have logged into the appstore and iTunes and also have made sure the information in the account are correct and up to date. When I open the appstore I click on updates and it says, "All Apps Are Up to Date" but when I click on "Purchased," it clearly shows that there are updates available. When I click on update it says that I need to be signed in in-order to update the apps. I AM signed into the appstore and iTunes. What is going on here? I tried emailing support for Apple and they couldn't even help me. I know there are people having the same issues. Can someone point me to the right direction or have any advices to fix this issue? Its very annoying unistalling an app and to reinstall just to update it. Thank you in advance.

I had just posted a thread regarding a similar issue, except it's attempting to "load" all of my apps again. This includes loading old apps that were previously deleted off my iphone. It's annoying. I can't even access these apps to delete them. This renders my phone useless...

Appstore wont prompt id/pw login. HELP!

im having issues regarding downloading app and updates, even the software update wont download in my iphone 5. so i tried to sign out from appstore, and download an app, it just shows the circle moving but the log in doesn't pop up. pls i need SERIOUS help about this. i tried restoring but it also didn't work because like i said, even the software update wont download, even when using itunes in my pc. HELP. I've tried all the solutions I've gathered from the web, none of them worked. PLEASE HELP ME.

Hi lithium08. I'm on an iPhone 5 also running iOS 8.1.2 and I'm always receiving this issue. I too would also receive the issue where I choose to download an app, but just seeing the spinning circle icon. This would just continue going forever and never brings up my login screen.
My fix for this is a bit annoying, but it always works for me, but the problem continues to persist after 2 weeks or so, so I have to continually have to apply this resolution until i can further troubleshoot what causes the issue.
You'll have to perform a reset of your settings by going into Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. What ***** is that you have to pretty much re-configure all your settings over again (Don't worry you won't lose anything like your contacts, etc) This is the only method that worked for me to get the app store working again. Resetting my network settings or logging out of my iTunes account and logging back in did not work for me.

There are 2 updates displayed in Appstore icon, but after open app store, in update page, no app display

Today it displayed as 3 updates avaliable in Appstore icon, after open store and click update, nothing. but the number 3 kept in icon.

Have you just recently installed GarageBand '11?
This instalation downloads in two parts - first the basic application, and when you try to use an item that is not yet installed, GarageBand will try to download and install the missing instruments and loops from the AppStore. I am not sure at all, if this update will work, since there is now a newer GarageBand version at the AppStore.
But try the usual fixes and then let us please know, if it is still possible.
First, make sure, that you accepted GarageBand to your AppleID - sign into the AppStore and check the Purchased page of the App Store, if there is an "Accept" beside the GarageBand '11 version. If yes, accept. Try the update again.

You don't code sign a pkg installer. You code sign the individual code bundles the installer installs.

OSX Mavericks Appstore signin problems

Cannot sign in to Appstore after OSX Mavericks update. The prompt window asking for username and password is stuck in a loop.

It's possible #1 will do the trick, but you might need to do the additional steps in Keychain access.
1. Delete the files /var/db/crls/crlcache.db and /var/db/crls/ocspcache.db. These can be found using Finder’s Go >; Go To Folder menu (Cmd + Shift + G). This resets the cache of accepted certificates in the system. It doesn’t remove them, it just forces the system to rebuild the caches upon restart.
2. Open Keychain Access (/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access). Select Certificates in the Category picker on the left side. In the search bar, type in the word Class. Look through that list, and find any certificates that have a blue + symbol over their icon. These are the ones you need to modify.
Select one that has a blue +, and hit Command + I. Click the disclosure triangle beside the “Trust” list to show the list of permissions. Now, what we need to do is to set this certificate to use the system defaults. However, for some reason, when you select it, it doesn’t save. So what you need to do is this. Under “Trust”, where it says “Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)”, change the dropdown menu to say “No Value Specified”. Then, close the window. It will ask for your administrator permissions. Then, open the info pane for that certificate again. Under “Trust” again, now set the dropdown that says “When using this certificate:” to say “Use System Defaults”. You can then close out of the info pane, and enter your password again. Do this for any of the certificates that have a blue + on their icon. There should only be one or two at most.
(Note: I had to toggle the settings before it would stick)
Restart your system.

Appstore country problem

I yesterday updated my iPad to iOs 6, and since then I cannot update or install software.
I have a Belgian apple id, but am currently in Poland. The appstore tells me that my id does not work in the Polish appstore, and that I should connect to the Belgian appstore. How can I do this when I am abroad? I cannot find a setting to change this.
I know I could create a Polish apple id and reinstall the software, but I would have again the same problem in Belgium. Or every time I travel. Consequently, I don't want to install software using different apple ids. But I will now be inPoland for several weeks, and would like to be able to update and install software. I tried connecting through a VPN in Belgium, but it does not work.

For English audience: sign out (Settings / Appstore and ItunesStore) and sign in again. The iPad will notify you that of which country the account is valid for, and will connect you to the correct one.
