Sign in to My Verizon on my phone

This issue is happening with me on my Samsung Illusion.
The update killed my ability to go onto MyVerizon at all through the widget and the browser.
Tried from my laptop with same info and it worked fine so I know it is the app.
CANNOT uninstall.
Update made it worse and required to update, so that's genius.
Uninstalled update. Restarted my phone. Installed update. Restarted phone. No worky.

UPDATE:
As of 2 days ago, I discovered the problem again.
I try to log in with my security code and it says, "please enter a valid phone number"
I do, and nothing happens.
I go to my browser and try. I log in fine but it says, ""We are unable to display account information at this time. Please contact customer service at *611 or visit www.verizonwireless.com/myverizon for the most updated information on your Prepaid account. We apologize for the inconvenience."
So it wasn't apps.
It's the Wi-Fi, somehow. The mobile Verizon App shows a nice updated version in the Play Store (that doesn't work) on Wi-Fi.
On 3G, however, the app works, but it's the older version.
It's a bug with Wi-Fi, Verizon!
I tried doing the Password reset thing that was suggested in the original thread and was labelled as the "Correct Answer."
I reset it through the PC and got a text on my phone. Restarted phone after it didn't work and it didn't help.

    My parents recently established a VZW account separate from our phone plan and purchased a 4G MHS device for their internet at home.  The MHS data plan is the only thing on their account so they don't have a phone number and therefore can't create a My Verizon account via VerizonWireless.com.     At the time of purchase an e-mail should have been sent to the e-mail address on file with a temporary password. This e-mail includes an embedded link with the password. This link is only valid for 30 days from the day it was sent. If you have not received this e-mail or if it expired, send me a private message.   • No web sign in access for Verizon online backup and file sharing - HELP!

    I need to sign-in via web browser to my backup files in my Verizon Online Backup and File Sharing service. The Verizon site redesign redirects the old URL with a sign in to a sales page with no way to reach my stored files.
    I contacted Verizon support more than a week ago about this asking for a URL with a sign in option to the cloud, was told that it was a problem affecting many customers (obviously eveyone with the online backup and filesharing service!) created by the redesign and that they would have a page created to allow login within 24 hours. I've heard nothing back and still have no access.
    I made very clear that this was a HUGE problem for me, as I'm out of the country and rely on file access, and was on deadline for a critical professional project. The support tech I was on live chat with assured me they were working on it and that he would contact me via email as soon as it was resolved. Lots of apologies, etc. but now, a week later ... still no access and no contact. Astonishingly unprofessional.
    When I tried again to find a link and/or contact support on Friday I was given no option to file a support ticket, chat with support or do any other kind of follow up. I've tried every search string option possible, including the name of the service with "sign in" appended (the Verizon nomenclature)--site searches a week ago for the service name returned null results. Web searches produce summaries from the old "My Services" page that include "sign in" but those links now redirect to the sales page that tells me how great it is I'll be able to access my files with a web browser with Online Backup and File Sharing. But no option to access the service.
     Has anyone figured out a workaround or have a saved URL that still resolves to a Sign In portal?
    I grow more desperate by the day. Thanks for any assistance.

    I just wasted a lot of time on this same issue -- it turns out I couldn't find my way into the web application because I normally log into a subaccount, and you have to be logged into the primary. I had tried logging into the primary but apparently hadn't tried all possibilities from there.
    So I chatted with Verizon support and got the phone number for Online Backup support, left them a message (because their hold music is so repellent I couldn't stand to remain on the line, maybe that's deliberate) and got called back about four hours later (and a second callback the next day, since I hadn't responded to the the voicemail they left on the first callback).
    So here are the instructions (until they change the web site again...)
    1. log into the primary account (not a subaccount)
    2. click My Verizon
    3. click My Services on the left
    4. click Broadband Essentials and Extras (right under My Services)
    5. click the Manage button next to My Subscriptions
    6. click the Verizon Online Backup and Sharing xx MB button

    Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty.  Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
    Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
    Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

  • Re Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect garbled voice problems

    I hooked up a Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect device and plugged my Panasonic KX-TG5665 5.8 GHz Digital Gigarance phone base into the home phone connect device in the center of my home.  We have several Panasonic extension phones in different rooms in the house.  This changed the quality of my phone service to terrible , to the point where we don't even want to answer the phone.  Incoming callers are complaining that we are "garbled" and difficult to hear and understand.  It also sounds like the callers are garbled as well.  We can no longer use the "speaker" on the phones because the voices are so garbled. I plugged in a wired phone to the Verizon device (which meant answering the phone at the Verizon device, which is not convenient) and the incoming callers say that our voices are "less garbled".   I need to know how to fix this problem.  I hesitate to go out and buy new phones until I know if this is a Verizon device problem.  What phone systems work well with this device?  We have a large 2-story home and live in an area with a lot of oak trees, and need to have reliable phone service (not just in one room with a corded phone).

    I had to check and see if this was a recording of one of many calls I made to Verizon about my problems. I have had it almost 2 yrs now and HATE IT!! No one can fix it talking on it is as tyvm518 and pete92833 have said, it is so "garbled" The worse thing is that when places put  you on hold and play music ! OMG I feel like I will bawl it is so  horrible! No one understands that at all! I have changed phones, bought phones and even borrowed phones from family to check it out. Little or no change at all. The last tech that I spoke with even went so far as to say that "I should never been connected with this set up because when she checked it out I had little to no signals in my area. But nothing was done about it. I was told a couple of times that they would send someone out to check it for me. I have MS, am disabled and elderly. My husband is ill and 74. I rely on my phone and my PC a lot. I wanted to get out of my contract after she told me that it was basically they who were in the wrong to set me up. After all I only had a few mo to go. But she said that I would have to pay a "FINE TO CANCEL EARLY"!! I did tell her that I hate it and and will not be resigning another contract! Maybe that is why they do not call back? I NEVER lose my temper, use bad language or nor disrespectful. I use my daughters AT&T cell phone most of the time now.

    Verizon offers prepaid service on the iPhone 4. Go into your local Verizon Store with your phone. I'm sure they'll be happy to set you up with service.

  • Echo on Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect-Why? How to Correct?

    Several months ago we switched from Verizon land line service to "Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect". (4G Cellular). Up until a month or so ago all was good. Now we have a very strong ECHO on our end only (the person on the other end does not hear it) during many calls. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. But we've not seen any pattern (time of day, etc.) Also, it always lasts for the entire call; does not come and go during a call.
    This echo is so annoying that we hate to make or answer a phone call.
    What is the cause of the echo?  How can it be corrected?
    Perhaps coincidentally, the signal strength has dropped from a consistent 3-4 bars to a consistent 1-2 bars. Can't help but wonder if there is a correlation.
    If we cannot get this corrected we will go back to a land line; and NOT likely Verizon.
    Can anyone help?

    YosefT_VZW, Thanks for your reply.  To answer your questions:
    1.     Yes, the antennae if fully extended (and has not changed since installation).
    2.     This is not a land line and I have no land lines in the house. But it occurs with all connected extension phones (1 cordless set of 4, and 1 hard wired desk phone).
    3.     And, Adjusting the volume does not make any difference to the echo problem.

    Your Verizon email account is completely independent of your iCloud account.
    If you set your Verizon email account up in the iOS Mail app, then it will still be there.
    You may just be in the iCloud Mailbox. Just tap the top-left button in the Mail app a few times to back out of individual mailboxes, and you should find all accounts set up on the device.
