Sign-in with authorized adobe ID

I connected my Kobo Mini to download a public library book (first time) I used to borrow books from my Sony ereader but now I switched to Kobo. I have set up and authorized my Adobe ID. However on my Kobo device, if I click on the public library book it says "Oops, this document couldn't be opened. It is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again."
So where do I sign in or go from here?

I tried many things, but what worked in the end was a suggestion from a thread last year. I opened my KOBO and signed off. Then signed back in. That seems to have done the trick. I can now download library books to ADE then transfer to the KOBO and actually open them. HURRAH!! I mainly use my KOBO to read library books and was panicing about losing access.
Before that fix I reauthorized my computer and my KOBO.

  • Photoshop asks for serial number even when I sign in with my Adobe ID

I have a Creative Cloud membership and I have installed Photoshop and Illustrator. Illustrator works fine, but when I run Photoshop it asks me to license the software. I sign in with my Adobe ID, but then it tells me to enter a serial number. I've tried reinstalling etc, it does not help.

Having International English-only as an option is a business/legal requirement for Europe.
I understand the frustration but it is difficult. If you sign up as a Free Trial user (so you have not yet paid for International English) which language should we default to? We default to the language of the operating system. Perhaps not perfect but a choice is made. And this works over 99% of the time, except for multi-lingual users whose OS is not set to English and choose International English-only. And yes I empathize as someone who can work fluently on both English and Japanese systems.

  • Adobe Download Assistant stuck at "Sign in with your Adobe ID to continue".

I'm trying to download Photoshop and I've downloaded Adobe Download Assistant and signed in, and it still says "Sign in with your Adobe ID to continue".  The assistant does count be as signed in though, since it says my name on the top bar (where it says "Welcome, (name)").  I've tried downloading other programs from it, tried restarting the program, and tried restarting my computer and I keep getting the same error.  Help?

    Hi!
I had the same problem, and I made sure I had enough space on the disk.
However, what seemed to help, was to change the location to another disk.
It might have helped to change to another folder or to start the download assistant as an administrator, I didn't get to try that, but atleast it worked for me when I changed the location, and I encourage others with the same problem to try the same or any of the other methods mentioned above.
    Hope this helps

DPS no longer supports CS5. You'll either need a copy of CS6, or will need Creative Cloud.

  • Why is latest version of Reader requesting sign in with an Adobe ID?

An Adobe ID was not required in the past to use Reader. Is there a way to disable the login prompt or am I going to have to tell everyone here that they need an Adobe ID now just to use Reader without being nagged?
    Windows 7 Reader 11.0.09

Regarding the "why": Adobe Reader has become more tightly coupled with the Acrobat.com online services; that is why users are required to sign in with their Adobe ID.
So far I have not seen any method to disable this, but I will keep looking.

  • Stuck at sign in with your adobe id to continue downloading

I'm trying to download a trial of Photoshop and I've downloaded Adobe Download Assistant and signed in but it still says "Sign in with your Adobe ID to continue".  The assistant does seem to be as signed in though, since it says my name on the top bar (where it says "Welcome, (name)").  I've tried restarting the program and tried restarting my computer and I keep getting the same error.  Help?

Morgan3johnson I would recommend completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1 and then reinitiating the download.  I would also recommend downloading the install files to your User folder or Desktop.
Alternately you can try the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download of the trial.

  • A new account was created on Behance when I signed in with my Adobe ID. My Adobe ID uses a different email address than my original Behance sign in email address. How do I access my original Behance account?

A new account was created on Behance when I signed in with my Adobe ID. My Adobe ID uses a different email address than my original Behance sign in email address. How do I access my original Behance account?

Hi – I’m resending you the instructions I got from Adobe-Sarah below again.
    Nancy
Sarahktrapp at Adobe sent me instructions on how to access my original account on behance. Please read all of this because it did not work completely the way she told me.
    Phase 1:
    Sarah’s from Adobe Instructions:
Thanks for getting in touch. Your Behance account (be.net/yourname) is connected to the Adobe ID ( your original behance email address), so this is what you'll need to use to login.
Please click login, click the Adobe ID button, and enter ( your original behance email address) and your Adobe ID password.
If you'd like to link your Behance account with a different Adobe ID, after you're into your account, you can visit this page and choose "link to a different Adobe ID:" https://www.behance.net/portfolio/promote
    Phase 2:
My results and what I reported back to Sarah at Adobe:
I followed your instructions, but it did not work for me. I clicked login, and then clicked the Adobe ID, I entered ( my original behance email address) and my Adobe ID password. When I clicked Sign In a message says “The Adobe ID and password do not match. Please try again.” I then tried logging in by clicking the Adobe ID, added the (my original behance email address) with my password I used on the original Behance account. The Adobe ID asked my birthdate and it seemed to work. Not sure how it worked, but thanks.
    I hope this helps you.
    Nancy

I have downloaded and istalled Adobe Content Viewer to my iPad. When I try to sign in with my Adobe ID, I keep getting Authentication Failure, what am I doing wrong?

Do you have any examples of system extensions or accessibility features that might be the culprit?  I have actually never heard of those terms before.

  • I downloaded a PDF ebook onto my ipad and it says it is protected and can't be opened until I sign in with my adobe I'd. I am already signed into the adobe app, is there somewhere else I need to sign in??

Please help! I can't open this book, I have already paid for it. whenever I try to download it I get an error message about it being a protected file and I have to sign in with my Apple ID, I am already signed in to every possible adobe and apple app I can be, wtf??

    Hi inGeniousty
It was a couple of months ago that I had the problem.  I did manage to sort it out and I think what I did was as follows.
You don't say whether you have your wi-fi turned on.  Part of my problem was the the wi-fi on my iPad was turned off, so, whatever my response to the pop-up, it wasn't sending a message to iCloud and it therefore just kept coming straight back.  I think what I did was to select the Cancel option on the pop-up and then really quickly (during the 1 second when the pop-up was off the screen) I tapped the Settings icon on the main iPad screen.  The pop-up immediately reappeared, but at least by that time I was in my settings screen.  I again selected the Cancel option on the pop-up and, this time, turned on the wi-fi during the 1 second when the pop-up was off-screen.  When the pop-up immediately reappeared, the wi-fi had connected me to the internet, so I could select the Canel option on the pop-up and this time it did actually cancel the pop-up permanently.
I really sympathise with your frustration - I love my iPad, but it really is exasperating when this type of problem occurs and there's no Apple shop in town!

  • Why can't I sign in with my Adobe ID

  • Why do I need to sign in with my adobe id and go through 3 pages of profile info every day?

It seems every time I attampt to log into adobe, or somehow call up and adobe web page from an adobe creative cloud app, I am asked to sign in...and then the form acts as if this were me creating an account...requesting 3 pages of info to create my profile, that is already filled in. Having to go through this it seems at least once a day is becoming tiresome.
I am using the chrome browser in windows 7 (64).
Also, it seems My Adobe is quite broken for me if I do not go through this process manually even if it appears that I am indeed signed in. Which copmpletely messes up my access to support, among other problems.

    Hi SummaeStudios,
Please download and install this version of AAM

Please follow up if you continue to have difficulties after doing so.

  • When i start illustator cs6 it asks me to sign in with my adobe info and if i do it opens a trial version, i have owned the prog. for 3 years

help what do i do i dont have my serial # anymore

    niculus,
It is registered with Adobe: otherwise you would have been unable to activate and use it to start with.
If you have registered it under your (present) Adobe ID, you may find it here (just click the application in the list to see the serial number):
    https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html
Otherwise, you may ask for help to find it/your then Adobe ID in a chat here or here (most likely the latter):
Serial number and activation support (non-CC, chat open between 5AM and 7PM PST/PDT on workdays)
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html
Adobe ID and registration support (non-CC, chat open between 5AM and 7PM PST/PDT on workdays)
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-c1.html
Failing all of those, please report back, and I will alert a certain forum staff friend who may find the right one to help you.
