Signal name for user activity, whether random button pressed or any other?
Hey,
what's the signal name for a random key-press-event or mouse button clicked or even mouse moved. Any user activity would to just fine. I'm trying to use this in conjunction with the waitfor command.
Batch files have no ability to detect keyboard or mouse events other than the "pause" command.

Trying to open iTunes - get an error message saying "This version of itunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the english version" Saw other answers for windows users, I have a MacAir. never used any other language but English so I have no clue what the problem is. I just want to update my phone and back it up.
Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

Query for 'User Activity' Webi Line Chart using BO4.0 Auditor
Need to create a webi line chart to measure ‘user activity’ per month, year or day using BO4.0 Auditor on Oracle.
This question raises two sub-questions:
What actions constitute user activity? Is it concurrent logins by users? I am confused if that would really give a true picture of user activity as users can log in and do nothing on the BO system.
If concurrent logins do in fact give a true picture of user activity then how do I go about creating a chart? What objects do I need to include in query?
Please provide feedback?

Follow below steps to create a webi report for your requirement, launch Webi rich client and create a new webi report by selecting "BOEXI40-Audit-Oracle" (Audit universe)
1) Select below objects in 'Result Objects' pane
[Event Year], [Event MonthName],[Event DayofMonth], [Event Type], [User Name], [Total Event Count]
2) Define below conditions in "Query Filter" pane
[Event Type Id] In list 1015 AND [Event Year] In list "Select Year" (Prompt)
3) Run query
4) At report level create a new variable of type measure with the name "User Activity" with below formula
=Count([Total Event Count]In([User Name];[Event MonthName];[Event DayOfMonth]) )
(This formula will track logout event of a each user in a day as well as in a month, it will take/count only one log out event of the user in a day as you desire)
5) Create a table block as well as graphs as you desire
i) For day wise user activity create a table/graph using: [Event DayofMonth], [User Activity]
ii) For month wise user activity create a table/graph using: [Event MonthName], [User Activity]

I would like to capture the DC logon server name for which user and computer got authenticated with and report it to SCCM. Could you please help me with the location where this information is stored? Thanks very much in advanced.
RajivI usually just type in a command prompt:
set L
or
%logonserver%, and it will give it to me.
My thoughts are to run your script with administrator elevation, since I don't think running it below that will pull that type of data out.

Intelligent netflow for user activity tracking

I am looking for a netflow system that can track a specific users activity on the network.
What I am looking for is a system that can take the netflow information and create a link from the IP information to a user or website/server so that you can search for a user and get a complete overview of the users network communication.
Anyone know of such a product?Scrutinizer can do this. This blog explains how we grab the log but, we can also launch a page for a specific IP address.

When you grant users "read" permission, then copying is possible and if you grant users "modify" permissions, they can also have "cut" permissions.
The 'system01' share folder is created by user 'system01'? If so, you could grant "creator owner" permissions to configure users only can access their own folder.

How to find the activity of the Info cubes or any other Info Provider
Hello everyone,
Is there anyway to find out the last activity date of the info cube or any other info provider?
One way is through tools--> Statistics for BI (But this is not working as I do not have enough authorizations in the office)
So, can anyone please give me a way to know the last activity date of all the Info Provider so that respective action can be taken on the Info Provider according to their usage.?
I also need the Procedure to know the activity of the queries also?

Are you looking actvity related to (Data retrival or data load)? (When the last time data loaded in Info provider or when the last time query is executed on that Info provider)?
If this is your requirement then BI statistics is only way to find out so get the authorization for the same.
If your need is -- last changed/llast data load etc.. then you may check the option "last changed at" at in Info provider maintinence, and data load dates.

Last night I was playing yoville game on my ipad using photon browser, I had a person that was playing the game sending me messages harassing me tellingmeijust exactly what I was wearing and what I look like he hacked I to my ipad camera from facebook game yoville :( then I saw my ipas setti gs all changed. I e-mailed yoville but have ot recie ed a reply I didn't know people could view my camera from another,ovation without. Me k owing. I turned the Internet off and changed my passwords to complicated ones for settings, and removed the photon browser/and not playing the games anymore I also reset my ipad hoping it would help. After that I have had. My ipad off for 7hours, I need to know if there are any other steps I should take? I can't afford for the apple protection plan yet may r in a couple weeks, I felt horrified. Y camera could me accessed and my privacy was compromised just hope someone can help me thanks.
My camera turned off after I played yoville. Had to shut down and turn back on. fixed now. Guess it's time to quit Yoville

Should I monitor the SQL Server tempdb for user activity?
I am currently auditing all databases on SQL Server 2008 R2 for specific events ( database accounts related activity) . I get alot of events generated for
tempdb. I am monitoring the following events 47, 102, 103, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113, 117, 130, 170, 171, 173, 176 is what I am monitoring.
Do I need to monitor tempdb or is it alright to exclude the
tempdb?

This isn't so much of a problem, but more of a "What is the best way to handle this" sort of thing.
I have a client with Exchange 2010 and multiple domains. Because they must be able to send as each domain, I have them setup with individual accounts/mailboxes for each domain. We're at a point that they have three domains which means three accounts per
user and three listings in the GAL. Their original accounts shows up as Smith, John. The second domain added shows up as First last. I'm at a loss what to use for the third. They want each account to show up in the GAL so that other users can send account
specific stuff to them if needed, but I'm trying to figure out how to keep this relatively organized and not make the name on outbound emails too convoluted.
Any suggestions on a format I can use that will make these accounts stand out from each other in the GAL, but not be a hot mess on the recipient end either?Smith, John (Company A)

Wifi network not recognized for long duration after WPS button pressed on ap
I have a TP-Link TP-WA901ND (access point) and it has been working flawlessly I pressed the WPS button on the device to get a wireless printer to acknowledge the network.
Now after 10hrs all the devices and computers see the network except for my z10 and BOLD 9300 until I power cycle the device.

Attempting to use bluetooth for the first time, and it never sees any other devices
I have an iPad 2 about a year old, running iOS 6.0.1. This morning I tried to connect to another iPad, over bluetooth, and neither iPad is able to discover the other. This is the first attempt to use bluetooth on either of these iPads. The other iPad is also running iOS 6.0.1. The iPads were less than 10 feet apart.
On both devices, I went to settings:bluetooth, and turned blutooth "on". This opened up a "Devices" box, which says "Searching...", with a spinning wheel icon. Below this box is says "Now discoverable". Both devices remained in this state.
I haven't used bluetooth before so I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Later in the day I fiddled with the bluetooth systems prefs panel on my desktop (a circa 2005 intel mac running OSX 10.6.8).(hadn't finished my earlier message but somehow it posted it before I was ready).
From the OSX bluetooth panel, I turned bluetooth on, and made my computer discoverable. I then hit "setup new device", and was taken to the Bluetooth setup assistant. After a few seconds it showed me my ipad as one of the devices it had discovered. Over on the ipad, though, it did not discover the desktop machine.
After about a minute, I then selected the ipad from the list of devices on the desktop machine, and hit "continue". At this point it said "attempting to pair with MyIpad", and "connection established". At the same time, a panel popped up on my iPad, listing my desktop machines name, and asking for a PIN. It is not clear to me whether it is asking for a PIN that I have supposedly set up on the desktop machine, or if it is asking me to establish a PIN. So I quit.
In any case, my goal in going through this attempt on the destop machine was solely to establish whether the bluetooth hardware is working on the ipad. I believe that has to be true.
So, can someone explain to me what steps I am *supposed* to go through to pair up two ipads over bluetooth?
