Signature missing

I created a signature in the mail preferences. But when I create a new mail message, the signature dropdown list only contains "none".

Are these six Signatures located in the All Signature section of the preference dialogue? If so, you need to again drag each Signature onto the account (or accounts) listed below the All Signatures section to "associate" each signature with each appropriate account.

We couldn't find an early access version for 51, so we're using Java 7u60 from https://jdk7.java.net/download.html
Our application uses a third-party library that embeds licensing information in a .licenses file that you have to deploy in the /META-INF directory of the third party .jar file.

We're unable to launch our application, which launches fine in Java 7u45.
Prior to Java 7u60, when we signed this jar file, we could verify the signature.

I'd really appreciate any thoughts anyone might have on this. We're obviously pretty concerned that our users are going to experience some disruptions once they upgrade.
I'm not even sure how to raise this issue to Oracle. The problem doesn't happen in a released version of Java, so I can't open a bug. I can open a bug against Java 7u60, but I'm not sure what priority that would be given. I can (and will) try to take it up with the third party, but I'm not sure whether they're even doing anything wrong. I can't find any information about not being able to include files in the META-INF/ directory. Any recommendations here would be greatly appreciated as well.

Try adding a dummy file to the root folder and then sign it. Looks like java does not like META-INF as the only folder

Default signature missing when sending pdf Keynote presentation from ipad

I use my ipad quite a lot to create and send presentations and updates to my clients. However, I have noticed that these e-mails (pdf) do not have my default signature in them when received at the other end.
When creating the email from Keynote, the signature is present, but is removed when viewed in Outlook or any other system than iOS.
In the sent folder on both Iphone and iPad, the signature is still present.
Anyone else experienced this?

So I sent an email from iBooks to myself and my signature came through just fine. Not sure how you might solve your missing signature. Are you running iOS 5.0.1?
You might try a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.
This seems to correct numerous problems on the iPad maybe it will help you.

Digital Signatures Missing

hello.. when i downloaded the installer for the "plugin" version of FP 11.7.700.232, for use with "windows xp" and "firefox", i noticed that the installer didn't have a digital signature.. i would think that it is supposed to be digitally signed..
i downloaded the file from "adobe.com" and i tried downloading it a second time, but it still wasn't digitally signed..
the "NPSWF32_11_7_700_232.dll" file that was installed in the "macromed" folder is digitally signed.. the "NPSWF32_11_7_700_232.dll" file seems to be the main FP program-file..
i am not experiencing any problems with using FP 11.7.700.232, with "windows xp" and "firefox"..
(mozilla's plugin-check says that it is out-of-date.. i hope that won't be a problem, where mozilla blocks it)..

hey pat.. you must have downloaded a file that was different from the one that i downloaded.. i downloaded the plugin version of FP 11.7.700.232.. the digital signature for it is not timestamped..

Email Signatures Missing From Reply and Forwarded Messages

Email signatures do not work for reply and forwarded emails. Signature work normally for emails I write.
I have 4 email accounts and 3 HTML signature identities. For each account I've enabled signatures for reply and forward in the Composition and Addressing menu option. I've tried restarting TB in safe mode by holding shift key. Nothing works. I cannot use signatures for any email accounts or identities for replies and forwards.
Help please. Something is broken. I have latest version of TB.

Anybody can help?

Signatures Missing in Pulldown. Me or Bug?

Sorry to post this twice, but I never got a response and can't find a solution myself.
I am adding signatures via Mail > Prefs > Signatures
But they are not showing in the pulldown when I create a new email to send.
What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?

are you adding the signatures to particular accounts? they won't show up in the pull down menus without that. after you create a signature drag it to a particular account right there in the signatures pane. then it should become available in the pull down menu for that account. you can also make a signature default so that you don't have to use the pull down menu every time.

Signatures missing from email accounts.

I have 4 email accounts: 2 gmail and 2 MS Exchange. For all accounts, I had set up signatures. With update 1.4, they got wiped out. Update 1.4.1 seemed to take care of the issue (still had to recreate all of them). Now, they are gone again (as of last night).
What is going on?!?

I'll add a related quirk to this thread.
I have set signatures for various e-mail accounts. The signatures appear in my outgoing e-mails (though in some instances which I haven't narrowed down yet, extra lines appear before the signature.) However, when I go to preferences for an account with a signature, only the default appears in preferences. Most of the time, so long as I do not touch the signature preference, the Pre continues to insert my signature (even though it does not appear in preferences) however sometimes the Pre loses it completely after I've gone to preferences.

Outlook 2010 e-mail signature missing from reply

I have create a signature, and it works fine when creating new emails. But when replying/forwarding, there is no signature attached. And this despite I have attached the signature under options->mail->signatures->Replies/forwards.
I have tried setting it to none, saving, adding it again and also with another very simple plain two word signature, with no result....
I am running Office Professionel Plus 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
I really hope that you have some suggestions, because this is really annoying!

I had the same problem after upgrading to Outlook 2010, and this was the only place I got a search hit on (with Bing search of course) showing others with the same problem. I think I just found the solution (fixed it for me) so I
thought I would share. There seem to be multiple exchange accounts now (I don't remember if they were there before) in the Signature editing dialog, and each one of them has sig settings. In the "Choose Default Signature: section, for the "Email
Account:" drop down, select "Microsoft Exchange" and pick your sigs, select "Exchange" and select your sigs, and I guess select any others too :).
I am assuming the problem is intermittent depending on who is autopopulated in the "from" section for the email that you are forwarding or replying to, "Exchange" or "Microsoft Exchange", although i don't know the logic of why one would be chosen over
the other.

Sounds like your security settings for their site are missing - such as might happen when you delete temproary Internet files and cookies.
Best bet would be to call their support number.

Jar Signing // Missing Digest entries

I have a signed jar's manifest file which does not contain all of the classes ( digest entries) archived in the jar. Shouldn't this be one to one -jar classes to digest entries? Is there a reason why some classes are omitted, whereby others are included? I receive a NoClassDefFoundError when the applet loads when attempting to run a static method from a class which does not have a digest entry. The class throwing the exception is in the same jar as the applet, yet in a different package. Version: 1.6.0_15.

Where do IPS signature save at?

i successfully load the IOS IPS package into the router, verify via CLI and CCP the IPS signature did compile on the router. (advanced mode, around 588 signature is active)
but it went gone (happened twice), i just want to ensure few things
1. i did shut down my router, and migrate to production site, would it cause by the power off / on then IPS signature missing?
2. i did remove the "ip ips iosips in/out" command that previous apply at my interface, would this cause the IPS disable and gone?
just counldn't figure out why now my router only have 3 signature only..

1. Please use the doc below for reference on how to configure IOS-IPS on the router. I will try to answer your questions using this document.

2. You will see in step 2.1 we create directory on flash to store all the signature files and configurations.
e.g:

3. In step 4.2 , we configure IPS signature storage location by referencing the directory we created above.

This is where the signature files will be stored.
4. In step 5.1 we copy the signature files to the router.
e.g:

6. Make sure you do a 'Router#write memory' before you reload the router. This way the configuration done gets stored and is preserved after reboot.

I suggest you sending the image in the last of the body of email instead of operating the signature of email.

Could not verify signing in resource

Hi all.
I've been banging my head against a wall for the past 2 days trying to figure this out to no avail. I'm simply trying to use Java Web Start to distribute my Swing application but always receive the same error dialog :
com.sun.deploy.net.JARSigningException
Could not verify signing in resource : ***.jar
I'm using Netbeans 6 and have tried manually signing all the jars as well as the netbeans web start self-signed feature : both give the same behaviour.
I have used jarsigner -verify -certs which confirms the certificate for the jar and I've tried with 1.5 and 1.6 jdks.
I've searched tonnes of websites and forums but can't find the answer - hopefully someone can help.

The jar in question is a 3rd party library.
I have checked it with jarsigner -verify ***.jar and get the following output :
jar is unsigned. (signature missing or not parsable).
So that should confirm the original jar is not signed. Unless you can hide a signature from jarsigner -verify with obfuscation?
Also, I think they removed the single signature requirement in jdk 6.
Still completely stuck on this unfortunately.

The .keystore file now cannot be found (No such file or directory)

hi,
so, I'm trying to sign a JAR file connected to an applet.
I got to creating the keystore and had a "where do you want to store it? and what do you want to call it?" messages.
I saved it as '.keystore' and was warned by the system that files beginning with '.' are invisible.
I clicked ok (thinking the compiler should be able to 'see' it) and now whenever I try to sign anything the Terminal tells me:
jarsigner error: java.lang.RuntimeException: keystore load: /Users/spikenigma/.keystore (No such file or directory)
It doesn't matter how many other keystores I create, it looks for it in said directory and throws up an error.

I have a JAR file called csvjdbc.jar . It is a driver that enables offline SQL operations of sorts on tabular data.
It works perfectly when loaded in the classpath both dynamically and at runtime.
The contents of it's manifest file are, as expected:

cd progamming
cd java
etc….

(try to sign the jar)

(try to sign the jar)
