Signature not authenticated after 5.3 download

Hi, I can't install 5.3 because when running the installer I get either the message "Signature not authenticated" (from direct run from site) or when unpacking the installation files after download I see the unpacking does not start (only 5.3 folder has been created).

When downloading for LR5.3 RC I get the message (translated): The signature of Lightroom_5_LS11_win_5_3.exe is damaged or invalid. Then the download is removed. When downloading the file and then execute the exe the installer stops the unpacking procedure after creating the target unpack folder 5.3

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

TS3899 email not working after latest mac download

I downloaded the latest update for my Iphone 4s 2 days ago. My POP3 email stopped sending emails- could not connect to server immediately. Then a day later I stopped receiving emails- same message. I have performed first a reset, then a full factory reset and after initially working last night I am getting the same message when trying to send emails this morning. I received a test mail that I sent from my Imac BUT I am in my house and think that this is probably through my modem in the house- Wi Fi. How can I get my POP3 account working WITHOUT going on line through Safari- long winded and inconvenient.

What "Adobe update" are you referring to? Adobe Flash Player? Adobe Reader? Something else? (Adobe produces countless products/services, so we need to know what got updated on your computer.)
Are you using the Adobe Send service? Note that you posted your question in a forum that's used for suggesting new features for that service.
Can you attach other files to emails, but not just PDFs?
What email program are you using?

CR2008 will not start after SP1 was downloaded and installed

Just wanted to post this message about CR2008. I didn't find a "installation problem" forum, so I'll post this here.
I have just begun using CR2008. New install worked fine. After a couple of days, I downloaded and ran SP1 for 2008. No problem with the SP1 installation process.
But when I attempted to start CR2008 after the SP1 install, I received a cryptic error message about not being able to start this or that DLL, etc.
I rebooted, etc, to no avail.
So, today I've uninstall CR2008 and I am going to only reinstall CR2008 without the SP1.
I looked for problem issues on the forums, but did not find much.
So I guess the SP1 problem that I experienced is very rare...? I'd appreciate any links or advice on this.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I have uninstalled CR2008 -- everything -- and I cannot reinstall the basic CR2008 package. It keeps giving me a series of errors and finally the installation is aborted.
Don't know what I''m doing wrong. I have sent a request for help to customer service...

Why is Adobe not working after I've downloaded the recommended updated version??

Why is Adobe not working (I don't get even a picture!!, let alone audio) after downloading the recommended "updated version?"

When I try to read the news clips...like OMG, or any of the "gossip" that involves a short video clip, a screen pops up saying that there's a new version of Adobe, which I should update to. So I updated it...by the usual clicking where it says to click and I can see the new version being added. But, after it's finished updating, I don't get even a picture...or sound...of the usual OMB lady speaking, nor do I get the video clips of any of the "gosspi" items or trailers, or anything else.
There's just a big, blank space where the video would normally be showing.
I could see the updates taking place on a separate screen that pops up, too. It took a minute or so to finish. I've done it at least 5 times, but I still get just a blank space in place of the picture and sound that used to pop up! (The video clip of the father who jumped out of a moving car to pick up his daughter, who fell out of the car onto the road, for instance, does not appear...just a blank space!)
I hope this clarifies my problem.

First step. Put the songs on the CD into iTunes. This is called "ripping." So, I assume you have done this part... You are able to see the songs in the iTunes library and play the songs using iTunes on your computer, correct? After you eject the CD, the songs are still there.
Second step. Sync the songs from your iTunes library to the iPod. Is this the step that is causing the problem?
To sync music automatically (which is the best way), you need to set up the iPod's Music tab in iTunes. Select the iPod in iTunes (in the sidebar), and you should see a row of tabs near the top of the window that starts with Summary (in the latest version of iTunes, they look like buttons). Find Music there and click on it. This tab is where you tell iTunes how to sync your music library to the iPod. If your entire music library will fit on your iPod, you can have it set to sync Entire music library. Otherwise, you have tell iTunes what music to sync, based on selecting playlists, artists, albums, and genres. If the new songs from the CD are not included in that selection, they will not sync to the iPod. Perhaps that is the problem, and you need to change the selection on the Music tab to include the songs from the CD.
One easy way to set this up is to create a new playlist in iTunes; call it something like "iPod songs." Put ALL of the songs you want on the iPod on that playlist (including the CD songs). On the iPod's Music tab, select only that playlist. Click Apply and all of the songs on that playlist will sync to the iPod. Going forward, you can update that playlist (add new songs and remove songs you no longer want to hear), and iTunes will sync the changes the next time you connect the iPod (or click the Sync button).

Signature not working after latest update

I've been using Adobe Reader (on Mac) to write professional reports for years with no problems until the latest update. Now I can't add and save any documents with my signature. Even tried Echosign to no avail.
Before the last update, I used to place my signature in the relevant field of a PDF and clicked "Done Signing" in the Sign pane to save the completed document. Since the latest update, the "Done Signing" option is completely missing from the Sign panel and the "Save" option (under File and in the toolbar) are inactive. If I "Save as" or use "Echosign" the signature is still not visible.
My reports are my bread and butter! Please help?!?

Safari does not work after Mountain Lion download.

Downloaded Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Got system up and running. Safari icon is present, but will not respond--cannot get on line. Firefox works normally, though. Tried downloading Safari update--no luck. Ideas? Solutions?

What exactly happens when you try to use Safari? Does it launch? Does the menu bar appear? Does a window open? Any error message?

Itunes will not open after trying to download new software

I went to download the new version of itunes and it said there was an error and now it wont let me open itunes at all and suggest reinstalling...will i loose my music that I have downloaded from cds and not purchased from itunes?

Just downloaded OSX Mavericks...now can't open Photoshop CS. Upgraded Java to no avail. Can anyone help?

Then unfortunately it is too old to run in Mavericks. PPC program's we're dropped after 10.5. 10.6 had Rosetta which was introduced to give users ample time to update their programs. CS3 and upwards are supported. You can always make another partition and install SL on that and run both OSXs

Is the signature from a BIS (pesonal) account or BES (company account, connected to company BlackBerry server)? Is your email working, just not your signature?

Ipod and apps not working after operating system download

After downloading the new operarting system on my new ipod touch, app icons show but they wont open. I tried everything. dont know what to do.

Signatures not available after 10.4.7

It seems my Mail.app and 10.4.7 problem is more trivial than some of the disasters I see on this forum but it is annoying nonetheless.
Firstly let me explain that Mail on my PowerBook would not show the new messages. I knew I had them because I could see them via webmail, and Growl acknowledged them as they arrived, but Mail would not admit to having them. I finally deleted my .Mac account and created it again and now that problem seem to be fixed.
However, Mail on both my Macs refuses to let me use any of the seven signatures that I was using regularly. They are still there but when I select an account in the first column, the "Choose Signature" pull down remains greyed out. This is frustrating as I need them for work and have to copy and paste them each time.
Anyone else found this?

I´ve had the same problem but solved it with a little workaround:
Assign signatures to Your accounts as usual, then change another information (e.g. account information - server name). This forces mail to save changes and - wow, You´ve got Your signatures back again.
