Signature/Virus update files in Asa-ssm-10 showing wrong time stamp

I have AIP-SSM-10 installed in my ASA.It is showing
Signature Update S291.0 2007-06-18
Virus Update V1.2 2005-11-24
even though i have a valid license and the date on the box is current. The screen shot is attached for reference .Request help to fix this

Assuming you have a valid license, have you tried to go to the Cisco website and download the latest signatures? And then install them on the AIP-SSM?

  • Cleaning virus-infected files on external hard drive used for Time Machine

I am kinda reposting this with some extra explanation since I didn't really get any good respnses on my first post:
I am running McAfee VirusScan and it locates and cleans virus infected files just fine on my computer, but when it finds infected files on the external hard drive I use for Time Machine backups, it says "Repair Failed". Is there a way to clean infected files on my Time Machine backup drive?
I had found a virus in several documents on my Mac, which I cleaned, but it seemed to infect a bunch of the files located in Time Machine as well. I know these files shouldn't harm my Mac, but I still don't like having virus infected files. They seem to propagate and I don't want to give them to any of my Windows-using friends.

    Hi,
Usually (but not always), virus-infected files aren't system-related, so if they cannot be repaired, there should be an option in VirusScan to delete them or quarantine them instead of repairing them. Assuming that you are archiving Mac-related files and not archives of Windows files, then it should certainly be safe to just have VirusScan delete or quarantine them. An alternative is that you could delete them manually. But before you do any of this, be sure to take a look at the filename and its location in the folder hierarchy to make sure that you aren't removing a file that's critical to the operation of some piece of software.
    Hope this helps,

  • File name for append processing mode with time stamp

    Hi Experts
we are doing file to file scenario using the processing mode as Append.
the requirement for us to append the files and we need to have new file name with time stamp added to the appended file.but in the processing mode of the file adapter either we can append or add time stamp. thatz the problem I am facing now.
we are doing file based processing not message based ,micheal blog regarding the dynamic file name is for message based not for file based.
    Please provide your valuable comments.
    Thanks
    Faheem

    Hi mohamed,
I suggest you to map the target source structure to the required filename u want, like for example ur filename is input26062008.txt means to the target structure u perform the following mapping
constant (input) concat with currentdate function --> concat with constant .txt --> map this concat to target. So u will get the filename u expected with the time.
Then in the communication channel u select the mode as append. Now ur requirement will get solve i think so. plz try.

  • WRT610N certain file types have wrong time stamp

Hi, I have searched this forum for a similar problem with no luck - so here goes...
I have a WRT610N router using the latest firmware 1.00.03 B15. After upgrading the firmware I reset router for 30 sec., and then powerdown for 30 sec. as I have read on this forum, and yes the USB drive was disconnected before hand, but I still have this problem when creating/saving certain file types on the USB drive attached to the router.
I have discovered that MS Word and PowerPoint files (.doc & .ppt) are saved with the correct date and time, but MS Excel, Notepad, and HTML files (.xls, .txt, and .mht) are saved with a time stamp that is one hour later!!! There may be other file types that are affected by this as well.
Example: I create/save a Word file and also an Excel file at 1:00 PM, When I use Windows Explorer to view the details of the files on the USB drive, the Word file has a timestamp of 1:00 PM, but the Excel file has a timestamp of 2:00 PM (in the future). All other functions on the router seem to be OK.
If I create these five file types on the C: drive they all have the same timestamps, I also have a Netgear SC101 NAS which shows the correct timestamps. I only have this problem when using the USB drive connected to the WRT610N. I tried this on 3 different computers - all have the same issue.
This may seem like a minor issue, but Im using SmartSync Pro to back up all the drives on the LAN and it uses the file's timestamp to determine if it should be backedup or not. So Im concerned that backups may not be done properly, or God knows what it will do with files from the future!
Im using WinXP SP3, the USB drive is a WD2500BEVS - 250GB with 4 partitions (largest is 120GB) all formatted as NTFS.
I would appreciate it if others would try this and post their results here so I would know whether to bug Linksys for a fix, or if I have problems elsewhere in my configuration.  Thank you.

    Well, 15 days, 40 views, 0 replies.
Could one kind sole, just one, please; startup Notepad, save an empty .txt file to the USB drive on the router, and then let me know if the file had the correct time stamp?
Preferably someone with a ver 1 router, firmware 1.00.03 B15, and running WinXP SP3.
    Thanks in advance.

  • SSMS is showing wrong servername

SSMS is howing wrong servername in  the status bar. I am getting a difference between the name shown on the status bar and when i use @@SERVERNAME. Is this a known bug?
    Thanks
    Avijit

    Erland,
In this case; i connected to say server1\instance1 and then changed the connection to server2\instance1 then shouldn't the status bar as well as @@SERVERNAME show server2\instance1? @@SERVERNAME is showing server2\instance1  but the status bar is showing
server1\instance1. This was pointed out by one of my colleagues soem days back and I had told him that the status bar will alway show the name of  the server the query editor is connected to. I could not believe it when he showed me this issue today.
He says; he does not know the exact steps to replicate this but he showed me the issue.

  • Trying to read a recorded file that display the x-axis recorded time stamp?

How do I read a recorded file with (XY) data, meaning I want to plot the x-time recorded data and be able to scroll back and forth.

    Hi Gina,
If I understand your question correctly, it sounds like you are trying to plot some data that you have saved in a file. I am assuming that this data is in the form of X and Y values.
If this is correct, the easiest solution would be to use an XY-Graph in LabVIEW. I would start by using LabVIEW's File I/O VIs to load the data into an array or even a string indicator. You can then parse the data that you need and separate it into two arrays, one for X values and one for Y values. You can then bundle these two arrays together and feed the resulting cluster into an XY-Graph.
I have attached an example that may help to point you in the right direction when it comes to the actual programming.
    I hope this helps!

    Reto

Are you able to stop the recovery from continuously running? Use "hw-module module 1 recover stop" to end it. Then try to reset it again (hw-module module 1 reset).
If the module become unresponsive due to too long running in recover mode, big chances you need to reset the ASA. But try to reset/shut it down via ASA CLI first before decide to shutdown/powerup the whole box. This may be inevitable. During shutdown, remove the module, and power-up the ASA. Insert the module once the ASA is properly running, and check the status/mode again.
Start the boot recovery process again, recover configure if necessary. If you need to stop it, issue "hw-module module 1 recover stop" within 45sec after the recover boot/configure started.

  • Where are the update files located?

Hi. We have five Macs around here: two Tigers, two Panthers, and a Jaguar. It's a royal pain to have to download the update files individually for each machine. Can somebody tell me where the update files are stored, so we can save time and bandwidth on updates by copying and/or running the updates from one machine to another?
    MTIA, Matt
    PowerBook Titanium G4   Mac OS X (10.4)

Seems you never use SU to download, before.
It took me a little while to decide whether to be offended by this or not...
I take it you mean that SU, had I downloaded to disk without installing, would have created the directory in question, but since I had not used this option the directory has not yet been created so it was not there.
Thank you for the tip. I am, even as we speak, downloading the appropriate update files to my Jaguar machine's desktop (the interface is a bit different, but I now know what to look for heh heh). For future updates I shall do the same.
    Many thanks...:)

  • Folders last modified time stamp are not updated in Windows 7

After changing any .cpp file in Visual Studio, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS NOT updated. What's happening ?
However when I change a Word (.docx) file, the last modified time stamp for the file's folder
IS updated ! How come ?

    Hi,
If you thought this issue gets worse and if you have already set NtfsDisblesLastAccessUpdate to 0, then please revoke it to 1.
From the above Blog we can see that in Windows 7, the "Last Modified" field on log files is not updated when a program attempts to open the file or the utility is stopped, this is a design change to NTFS , becase we cache the metadata for
folder contents and do not refresh it until a handle is closed on an open file or an explicit call is made to retrieve the properties of an individual file.
Per your current issue that even if you closed these Vistual Studio files, the timestamp still didn't update. Please try the following and check whether any of them work:
    - open the file in a second program
    - view the proprties of the file
    - "dir <filename>" at a command prompt
In addition, if you edit these Vistual Studio files with Notepad(Before doing that, please close all the programs include Vistual Studio) and try to reproduce the issue, does the issue still occur?

  • Re-setting time stamp on original photo files

I have approximately 1000 old slides I scanned in to my old PC using photoshop. I'd like to reset the time stamps to when the photos were taken, not just in iphoto, but on the original files, so that they would retain their time stamp after being moved to backup storage, and viewable on a PC. Presently iphoto shows these photos according to the date they were scanned in.
If iphoto cannot do this (which I suspect), would someone recommend the best reasonably-priced program to buy to do this?
    Thanks
    Scott

I would recommend Applescripts Script Editor. It works within the iPhoto program and you can change either the date and/or the time stamp on one or more photos. Good luck with it. It is free as well.

  • Date of a tdm file set in LabVIEW not showing up in diadem

    Hi.
I 've got a problem with the date string in Labview. If I set a property of a tdm file by using the diadem connectivity vi the datestring only consist of three "-" in the diadem file portal. I'm using the time stamp vi and connecting its exit with the express vi "set property". What did I wrong?
    (Sorry for my English)

    Hi Brad.
Thanks for the code. It worked so far, but this isn't what I had in mind. The Express VI "set property" within the Diadem Connectivity VIs has a connection named "time stamp", which can be used to set the date for a tdm file by connecting the Labview VI "time stamp" with it. If I load or save a file in LabVIEW, everything works fine, it's only Diadem, which doesn't recognize the date or time. I need the date, when the tdm file was created, for the first page of a test record. The variable "DataSetDate" returns only "---".
    Thanks a lot,

  • Continuously update time stamp on main panel

    Hello,
I am trying to continuously update/show the time stamp based of a fixed starting point.  I made a SubVI, to accomplish the task, however, how can I go about using this subVI into a main program?  Alternatively, how can I continuously update the timestamp on the main VI?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

Why you want to read time stamp from Subvi. If you’re not doing anything in subvi (except time) then there is no use. You can simply update your time in Main VI ( as per my previous post).
Please check this VI. I hope this will help you.
