Signatures for each Mail account?

Is it possible yet for my 3 email accounts to each have individual signatures?
I have a few business and personal accounts and would like separate signatures for each, or is that not available?
thanks!

Jeeezzzzz - this still isnt solved?
I love how apple is trying sell an app to let us have multiple signatures. Rediculous.
Evertime I find a basic function missing from my iphone or ipad, i keep thinking "theres an app for that". Meaning its going to cost me more money. Again.  Just like the "flash" issue. Just like the "file storage" issue.
Very unimpressed.

  • How can I set up a separate email signature for each mail account?

Any way to set up a unique signature for each mail account on the Iphone, seems to be just 1 standard signature?

Always worth jotting a quick note off to Apple about it, if you'd like to see it in a future iOS version (enough people ask for a feature, and it's more likely to happen).

  • Setting signatures for multiple mail accounts

I have two mail accounts and would like to use a different signature for each of them. You seem to only be able to select "in random order" or "in sequential order" or to add a drop down menu that allows you to make the choice each time. I have not been able to just go to each account in preferences and select a signature. This is mail v. 1.3.11. Any ideas? Thanks.

I believe this feature is available in Mail 2.x only (Tiger) -- and it doesn't work very well there either, so don't upgrade just because of this.

  • Only one signature for all mail accounts very limiting

while the iphone is a very cool tool, i'm using the iphone for personal and work email,
and i find it very limiting that there is only one signature possible for all mail accounts.
standard, we all found out is written "written on my iphone" or something like that.
i always thought it was very dorky when i read that from blueberry users last year, (as if i'm interested that someone reads and writes his work e-mails from a mobile)
so, lets stop pretending it is cool to mail from the iphone, but just do it with all functionality it should have.
like having multiple signatures for example with work signature when i'm working, and personal signatures when not
meanwhile, can you (apple support) please help me loose less time when i want to erase my work signature every time i want to e-mail personally by adding functionality like "selecting bulk" and "cutting" (and then allowing to copy and paste while you're at it) to your sdk, Pronto please!
    thanks!
anyone agrees? please follow up. maybe it helps speed up the improvement..

Once you sync your mail accounts with iTunes the first time, you can turn that off in iTunes. You don't need to do that anymore, unless you make a change to the account. It only syncs the settings. You can reset the sync history after deleting the accounts from your phone and then do another sync. That should correct the problem. I'm not as familiar with Mac computers, but maybe someone with a Mac can help a little.
    Hope this answers your questions.

  • IPhone 4s - We need a separate signature for each email account.

I had no problem with this in WebOS.  Makes no sense to have muliple email accounts and not enter a different signature for each.
So far, I've not seen an app worth buying. I thought about changing signature to remove "sent from my iPhone" and changed my mind. I'm leaving it in there to advertise to everyone how limited iPhone is for truly handling personal and business email needs.
I hope Apple figures this out soon!!

As Apple hasn't thought it worth doing for 4 1/2 years I wouldn't hold my breath. The best you can do is put all of the sigs you need into the signature, then delete all but the one you want before sending.

  • E71x Notifications for each mail account

I've got 2 mail profiles set up now, and possibly a 3rd one shortly.  It seems I can only set notifications up for all of the email accounts collectively.  Is there anyway to set up notifications for each specific account?
I've got Yahoo set up on the Xpress Mail app, any my company account on the Exchange app.  I'd like to set up a Gmail account and have the notifications for the Yahoo and Exchange accounts turned off so I would only get a vibration for the Gmail account.  Is this possible?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Actually, you should have one icon for each email account. Further, you should have a Messages icon that is the master list for all messaging services you use (including, but not limited to, email). Depending on your OS level, you may be able to control what shows in Messages and mask those email accounts out of Messages. But you'd need to give us some idea of what OS level you are running.
If you are not seeing the additional email account icons, then many things could be an play...here are what I can think of right now:
You are running a theme that hides all but Messages.
You are hiding the individual email account icons.
You have something else running that is causing this.
I can't really think of any other possible causes. Good luck!

  • Different signatures for different mail accounts?

Is it possible to set up a different email signature for different email accounts?
I have both my business and personal accounts on my iPhone, and would like my business account signature to contain information about the business (contact details etc.) but I don't want the standard 'Sent from my iPhone' on there. Likewise, for personal stuff, I love having the 'Sent from my iPhone' when I email people, it is a good talking point.
I've only seen the one entry for a signature, which seems to apply to all accounts, but if anyone knows a way of doing this I'd be greatful.
    Thanks.

One signature is available for all accounts at the present time anyway and having multiple signatures to choose from with the ability to assign a signature to an account is also something I'd like to see since I also access a personal and business email account with my iPhone which isn't my business phone.
I've provided Apple feedback about this here and I suggest you do the same but this is no guarantee that Apple will incorporate this with a future update since they probably have bigger fish to fry but at least they will receive it and who knows, maybe this is already in the works for a future update.

  • Seperate windows for each mail account

I've just installed Panther and am exploring the Mail application.
How can I set up completely seperate windows for three seperate accounts that will receive and send mail only specific to each account.
In Outlook I had three seperate windows all working completely independently but I can't figure how to do this in Mail.
    Geoff H

There is no separate account named Outbox mailbox for each account under Out in the mailboxes drawer. There is a single Outbox mailbox which is shared by all accounts.
The account named mailbox under Drafts, Sent, Trash and Junk will not be created until the function is used by the account.
Mailboxes under In, Drafts, Sent, Trash and Junk in the mailboxes drawer are created and managed automatically by Mail and cannot be manipulated manually.
The "On My Mac" named Trash mailbox under Trash in the mailboxes drawer is used when selecting a message for deletion that is located in a user created "On My Mac" mailbox.
The only mailboxes you can create and manipulate in Mail are user created "On My Mac" mailboxes which are stored locally on the hard drive and user created .Mac or IMAP account mailboxes which are stored on the server.

  • Can I have a different address book for each mail account?

I have several email accounts that I use with Thunderbird. When I create a new email and begin typing the address, it autocompletes based on my personal address book. I would like to know if I can have a different personal address book associated w/ each account.
For example, I have an account for work and an acount for personal use. Suppose I have two contacts: "Mark Smith" a friend & "Mark Jones" a colleague. If I type "M" in the adress field of my email I would like for only "Mark Smith" to appear if I am composing that email from my personal account and only "Mark Jones" to appear if I am composing that email from my work account.
I am running Thunderbird 31.3.0 on Ubuntu 14.10.

@sfhowes: That sounds just like what I'm looking for. Thanks.

  • How can I set up a unique signature for each email account?

Is Apple kidding me? I can put multiple email accounts on my iPad but they must all have the same signature, bcc settings etc...
That makes this a toy not a tool!
Is there an app for that?
    RA

The only work around I can think of would be to use TextExpander. Not the best solution but possibly the only one for now.

  • Different mail alerts for each email account

Just got the new Verizon iPhone. Used BlackBerry for years. One feature of the BB that I think is missing from the iPhone is the ability to set different mail alerts for each email account. For instance, I would like to turn off alerts for my corporate Exchange account (for which I get 100 emails a day), but receive alerts for my Comcast and Gmail accounts.
Am I correct that there is only one on or off feature for the iPhone for all accounts?

That turns the account off for receiving mail as you provided, which I'm fairly certain the OP is not interested in.
The OP wants to be able to turn the new mail alert sound off for one account while leaving it on for another account while all accounts are still checked for new messages.

  • Auto signatures for multiple email accounts-iPhone

I currently have both my personal and work emails accounts set up on my iPhone. I created an automatice signature which I want to use only on my work account, but it also shows on when I send an email from my personal account. Does anyone know how to use an automatic signature for only one account? Thanks!

there's no fully automatic version available that I have found however there's an App called @Signature which allows you to create unique signatures for mail accounts or even have different signatures for the same account.
All you have to remember is that when you create an email, you use the App rather than mail as it inserts the correct signature into a blank email created by Mail. It still defaults to one email account so its far form perfect but at least it stores the correct signatures.

  • Separting inboxes for each email account

I have just begun using Mail.app (because it supports Exchange; I was using Thunderbird). What I don't like, is how my inbox folders for all of my separate email accounts are grouped together under one "Inbox" header -- is there anyway to have the incoming/inbox folder to be grouped with the rest of the folders that correspond with that email account?

is there anyway to have the incoming/inbox folder to be grouped with the rest of the folders that correspond with that email account?
The short answer to that would be 'No'. Besides, there are only a maximum of three folders for each email account, and they are all separate from each other, which is the way it should be.
