Signatures on my iCloud email

I know where to add my signature to be included with my email but I am having trouble setting the font.  First, I want the signature to be in a script to appear more like a signed letter, and Second, I want another entry below my name in a smaller font.  Can I do this?
Ex:  Name
       XXXXXXXXXXX
Thanks for your help.

You can add a URL to the signature in the iCloud mail preferences

  • Any tips on formatting iCloud email and signatures?

I use my iCloud email account on my iMac(Apple Mail), iPhone and also on a different browsers via the iCloud website.  Does anyone have any tips to address formatting fonts/email text and also my signature?  I'm trying to get the appearance to be identical (or very similar) wherever it's done.
I thought I might be able to create an image file for the signature as one option..
    Thx for any advice!

Yeah, what Mike said.  You can stream songs on your computer from the cloud.  On your iDevices, when you play a song, it downloads it to the device.  I keep my library backed up myself, but with iTunes Match, if I am out and want to hear a song that someone mentions or something, at least I have the option to play it as if it were with me, more or less.  It begins streaming almost instantly and finishes downloading well before the song is over.  It's really very cool.  So you can have your whole music collection "with you", but without actually having it with you.
I think the other nice thing about Match vs. the other cloud music services is that you don't have to upload all your music.  Some, yes.  But not most.  It does a pretty good job of matching, and as you probably already know, if your music was old ripped things at 128 bit, it upgrades them to nice 256 bit.  That's a nice benefit in itself worth the $25 right there.

  • I received a spam message from my iCloud email to my hotmail account - what gives?

So I have my Hotmail email and iCloud (@me.com) account on my iPhone. Suddenly today, I received an email from my @me.com account - to my Hotmail account - this is very odd as I rarely-to-never use my iCloud email account. So I have a feeling either A. it was a genuine security breach or B. it's some weird hoax.
Yes, I know many people spam with names that look similar etc - but I've checked the message headers - and they appear like a legitimate message. Also, I replied to the message - and received it in my @me.com account. I'm not some n00b who calls the help desk - but was wondering if anyone else had this issue today...
I've included the message header below - *note that I've replaced my real email address with 'main_user'

  • Email virus on my icloud email.

I had a problem beginning this morning. All of my icloud email, as well as my gmail mail on my icloud in that all email in every subdirectory said it was from one of my contacts, or was from this same contact. I deleted every email out of my ipad, back to 2011, which didn't help, then I deleted that contact and it seems to have stopped it.
Anybody else getting this? I have a friend who uses an ipad who got a "virus" from her friend, both of whom use their icloud accounts.
Apple people say we don't have a virus, so then what is it?

The only viruses that come via mail or Window's viruses. They cannot affect a Mac, and they sure don't affect an iDevice. All you can do is pass the virus to a friend who uses Windows. You will be infected.
    Helpful Links Regarding Malware Protection
An excellent link to read is Tom Reed's Mac Malware Guide.
Also, visit The XLab FAQs and read Detecting and avoiding malware and spyware.
    See these Apple articles:
Mac OS X Snow Leopard and malware detection
OS X Lion- Protect your Mac from malware
OS X Mountain Lion- Protect your Mac from malware
About file quarantine in OS X
If you require anti-virus protection Thomas Reed recommends using Dr.Web Light from the App Store. It's free, and since it's from the App Store, it won't destabilize the system. If you prefer one of the better known commercial products, then Thomas recommends using Sophos.(Thank you to Thomas Reed for these recommendations.) If you already use Sophos, then be aware of this if you are using Mavericks: OS X Mavericks- Sophos Anti-Virus on-access scanner versions 8.0 - 9.1 may cause unexpected restarts
From user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:
    The facts are:
    1. There is no anti-malware software that can detect 100% of the malware out there.
    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect anything targeting the Mac because there
is no Mac malware in the wild, and therefore, no "signatures" to detect.
    3. The very best way to prevent the most attacks is for you as the user to be aware that
the most successful malware attacks rely on very sophisticated social engineering
techniques preying on human avarice, ****, and fear.
    4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
        protection against malware.
    5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
from which they purport to protect you.
    6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
    7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
    8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.

  • HT204053 how can i move an icloud email address from one ipod to another?

    Hi
My kids have ipods and wanted icloud activated.  Foolishly I set up an icloud email account but used my son's name on my daughter's ipod.  How can I switch the icloud email account to my son's ipod?
    Thanks,

I don't really understand iCloud, but I have an Apple ID since both my kids are underage (8 and 11).  They share my Apple ID, but have different Ipods.  Can/Should I have separate iCloud emails for them?  To recap, I have 1 Apple account, but have 2 kids, a boy and a girl.  How do I have separate id's for their individual ipods using icloud when I have one Apple ID?

  • Can Multiple email accounts on Galaxy S4 sync with iCloud & non-iCloud email?

Hello… has anyone successfully set up multiple email accounts (iCloud/Yahoo/AT&T/etc.) on their Samsung Galaxy S4 Jelly Bean 4.2? I searched the forums and it has been said that configuration settings depend on the combination of wireless service provider + device model + email providers + Android version.
My S4 is from AT&T and if this scenario can't work, I have to cancel my contract in a few days (although that would be the last resort). From checking the forums, not everyone has been able to get the S4 to work with iCloud. In my case, I hope to sync up with iCloud and non-iCloud email which might be trickier.
Here is one thread that helps with settings, but doesn't seem to address multiple or non-iCloud accounts: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22435596#22435596
    Some background info…
Although Gmail just works on Android devices, I plan to primarily use Apple/Yahoo/AT&T email (at least initially).
I don’t yet have Apple mail/iCloud, but plan to. I am partially switched to the Mac (Mtn Lion), but haven’t completed the jump from Windows.
I don’t have an iPhone (so hopefully that makes the setup less complicated.)
I mostly care about email on the S4 (I’m not concerned about syncing up contacts, calendar, music, etc.).
Apologies for the long post, but hopefully I’ve included the necessary background info for the questions below:
Is it possible to setup multiple (iCloud/Yahoo/AT&T) emails on the Samsung Galaxy S4 from AT&T so that they sync nicely?
From the S4, if I reply to an email, will the Sender in the email reply be the same account which received the email? Or, (as I’ve read in the excerpt below) will the Sender for all email replies from the S4 be set from a fixed/primary account?
Although the first two questions above are the most urgent for now, I'd appreciate pointers if you see something that should be changed in the configuration settings below.
    Thanks in advance!

After spending quite some time trying to get my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II setup with iCloud mail, this is what finally worked. Thanks to everyone for the various bits that helped lead me in the right direction. For those who need lots of detail, I hope the below helps. Please don't ask me about any other specific Android phones as I'm not expert but thought someone out there could benefit from my experience.
    INCOMING SERVER SETTINGS
User Name: username (do not enter @me,com or @mac.com)
    Password: (enter your password)
    IMAP server: imap.mail.me.com
    Security type: SSL
    Port: 993
IMAP path prefix: p##- (you can find this by checking your account settings on your Mac. Mine was p03- so that's what I entered here)
    Press NEXT
    OUTGOING SERVER SETTINGS
    SMTP server: smtp.mail.me.com
    Security type: TLS
    Port: 587
check the box next to "Require sign-in" if it's not already checked
User name: username  (do not enter @me.com or @mac.com)
    Password (enter your password)
    Press NEXT
Your phone will check the server settings and you should be able to see your email now.
And another poster provided these additional tips…
Definitely select SSL/TLS and accept all certificates
Now here's the zinger: Authentication should be LOGIN
After figuring this out, I finally (after many hours of searching and testing) got to my outgoing server settings, which are: smtp.me.com
    NONE for security type
    Tic "Require Sign-in"
    Authentication is PLAIN
And another poster's question about the Sender's email address for multiple accounts…
Managed to get this all set up however, Android only seems to allow you to send from your primary address and only reply from your primary address even if a mail was sent to one of the other addresses.
Any ideas how to get around this as I have three addresses beneath my primary which I need to both send from and reply from.

You're unlikely to find many people with experience of configuring multiple email accounts on a specific Samsung device, here on the Apple forum for an Apple service. Try the Samsung forums for help setting up your Samsung phone.
There are a few posts with general info relating to setting up an iCloud email account on Android here if you search though.

  • How to set up 2 people to share an iPad, for iCloud email and contacts

A family of two, each with their own MacBook, own iPhones, but sharing one iPad on trips, all with latest OS. Currently using Apple Mail with links to separate gmail accounts and all is working as we prefer.  But want to switch to icloud email accounts.  Want separate email to continue on MacBooks and iPhones, but to display both individual email addresses on iPad. Can't figure out how to have two iCloud email accounts display in Mail without commingling in the inbox.  Family Share does not seem to support this, nor sharing of Contacts.  If the only way is to have person #2 get a separate Apple ID then contacts would not be shared which is messy to keep current, and then how would the iPad handle two ID's?

It's always best to have seperate IDs.
YOu can enter a secondary account at settings > mail, contacts and calendars and select which services you want switched on. Note some services, such as photos and document syncing are only available to the primary account.

  • I forgot my icloud email password. I use a different email account for my AppleID.  How can i reset my Icloud email password?

I need to reset my password for my iCloud email. I forgot the password because I made it about a year ago and forgot to write it down. I used my iCloud email which it *****n****[email protected] for many of my social media accounts. I have recently found out that if I want to reset my password for a social media account, that it will not go to my imessage. I have not yet set up *****n****[email protected] on the mail app, which is what I am assuming you have to have if you want social networks to email you on your mobile phone. I can not set up *****n****[email protected] on the mail app though, because I do not know the password. I also have a separate email for my AppleID account, and yes. I have reset the password for my applied account, to see if it would also reset my icloud email address password. Thank you, and I am sorry this was confusing.
