Signed in to DW General Discussion Forum Not Sticking

I have been a regular participant but lately I have to sign in every time I return.
I always check "Remember Me" but no joy
OS is XP Pro using Firefox 15.0.1
Would appreciate arriving on page already signed in as it has always been.
Appreciate any tips

You need "Privacy" and "Security" Tabs of Firefox to set these for you.
In FF go to:  Tools >> Options
Now you will see the two tabs in which you can set the appropriate options.  You might need to clear your cache before new changes takes effect.
I suggest ask the experts in Firefox forums if this doesn't work:

Hope this helps.

  • General Discussion forum

I know these are support type forums, but I was wondering if now would be a good time to introduce a general discussion forum for non support posts, and genral"have you seen that..." posts?

I think it's a good idea to have a General Forum which could be for questions that don't fit in the categories that are showing at present.
You could also have  say a Chillout Room where it is just for general chit chat, they are popular in some forums.

  • Flex language questions should go in the General Discussion Forum

This forum is intended for Flex Builder questions.
Of course you can post wherever you like, but if you want
help, go where the helpers are.
    Tracy

can you define what goes where then?
General discussion sounds like thoughts, comments, hopes and
    wishes.
Builder 2, (meaning Flex Builder 2?), seems to be the only
area for other Flex 2 questions.
I don't mean to be wise here, but I personally don't
understand what a "builder 2" question is if not those that deal
with flex 2, such as those posted here. I want to post my questions
where they should be so that I might find help, so maybe the forum
labelling should be re-considered or better defined.

  • Is photoshop general discussion forum dysfunctional

Does anybody know a reason why the Photoshop General Forum may not be fully functional (since 13 hours ago it seems from the time of the last post)?
Edit: The Reply-option seems to be missing in the threads.

Clearly!    But I am a decent engineer.

  • My "Stay Signed in" Checkbox is checked, but will not stick. Show passwords does show the current password/username in the list. Current Version 3.6.19

I have always used this feature in Firefox (at least 6 years or so) and it has always responded like this:
If I add username/password, then sign_on to Gmail, I used to be able to close Ffox with the 'red X' , then return to gmail with it already open, ie:
Already signed in. This suddenly stopped working. I have checked and rechecked Ffox settings, and even returned everything to defaults, yet cannot find a Ffox reason for this.
I have also checked Gmail procedures, which is where I suspect the real problem is, but so far haven't found an answer. Can anyone confirm that this is not a Firefox problem, but instead is likely a Gmail problem.
    Thanks
    Gord

  • Welcome to the Technology-General Discussion

Welcome to the EBS Technology General Discussion Forum. This is a forum to discuss the latest in the world of EBS Technolgy; Listen to your ideas and share them all. Specific forums for subtopics on R12/ 11i/ LCM/ SOA are already active. Hopefully this will give you a good preview to the world of EBS technology

    Hi guys,
I am new to Oracle so I have 2 basic Technology&Software questions for an RFI, which I wasn't able to find answered for EBS R12:
8.1 Please list any specific hardware requirements/prerequisites your company’s product may have with regards to the application & database servers, clients/workstations…
8.2 Please list any specific software requirements/prerequisites your company’s products may have with regards to the operating system, database….
I know it is pretty basic stuff, but would appreciate any kind of information on these topics.
    Thanks a lot!

  • Not able to CREATE FORUM, or DELETE PRODUCT in discussion forum

  • Java Discussion Forum - Post topic not working

I've deployed the Java Discussion Forum contributed by CLAURENT in Knowledge Exchange. Deployed to 10gAS in JDev 9051. I've modified a few deprecated classes and made the appropraite changes to orion-applications.xml to point to the correct JPDK jars when deployed under Linux.
The application is operating properly with no errors. The administartion portlet can modify and create new forums. However, Posting a topic does NOT work. And it doesn't throw any errors on screen or in the console log (application.log) or the log4j log (forumprovider.log). Has anyone run into a problem like this?
    Thanks. LEH

I have exactly the same problem on the Portal 10g release 2.
Normally the "dit of a new topic" calls the EditPostAction but after submitting the form, nothing reachs this action.
I check this in debug mode and add several logs and I don't see nothing appearing for this action.
    Did you find a solution?

  • Discussion Forum: Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using

    Hi all,
I deployed the Discussion Forum and it shows the Portlet with "Creating a product ..". Very fine.
I can create a Product. Fine also.
I can fill in a new Thread, but then, when I try to submit it, I get the error:
Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using request parameter: 000100000004313437380000012A000000F8FE832E94.
When I click Cancel. I see the Overview of the Products. I drill down to the Threads for my Product and the new thread appears on the list. As soon as I click on the Thread in order to read it the following error appears:
Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using request parameter: 0001000000043134373800000134000000F8FE832E94.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Michael

You need to set the Login Frequency (while registering the provider) to 'Once Per Session'. This will allow the portlet to track the user transaction state.
Make sure that you do not bounce the oc4j container in between the portlet operations, since this will leave the transaction into inconsistent state.
You have to ensure that whenever you bounce the oc4j container/provider mid-tier you logout of portal and login again.
    This will solve the problem.

  • Signing into just forums not MyVerizon.

If you link your MyVerizon and your forum account, is there a way to login to just the forums, not through MyVerizon?
Also, if that is possible, will you get logged into MyVerizon if you logged in to just the forums?

You can bookmark http://community.verizonwireless.com and then sign into the forum using your My Verizon account username. I don't know if it will.automatically sign you into your My Verizon account as well.

  • Discussion Forum Portlet not working on standalone OC4J

    Hi,
I'm testing the Discussion Forum Portlet.
I imported the portlet to jedeveloper in order to make changes to it.
I deployed it to a standalone OC4J (without doing any changes yet) and succesfully registered a provider, but when I put the portlet to a Portal-Page I get the following error:
"Unable to perform the operation: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file config\common\bc4j.xcfg in the classpath"
Deploying to the OC4J_Portal Instance on the Application Server and
registering the provider with this URL is working.
    I'm using Portal 10.1.2.0.2.
    I tested with OC4J standalone versions 9.0.4.0.0 and 10.1.2.0.2.
What could cause the fact that the Portlet isn't working when it is deployed to an standalone OC4J?
    Regards,
    Mario

I'd recommend asking the Portal/Portlet people -- I think exposure to this sample will be required to give you any assistance.
One thing to be aware of though is that the libraries for BC4J (which this sample seems to use based on that error) aren't installed by default with OC4J standalone. Whereas for OracleAS 10.1.2 they are. So that might be something to chase down.
    cheers
